Great food and awesome atmosphere

I went in to this place not expecting much. But turned out to exceed my expectations. Good customer service, clean facilities, ability to order via QR code on the table. The service was fast.

Recommend the chicken parmigiana which comes with a side of food poisoning 🤌🏼Visited the Brightwater Hotel last night and after eating part of my meal I realised the chicken was very raw. I mentioned this to the staff who informed me that several other people also had raw chicken that night but they had spoken with the chef who assured me I would be ‘all good’. Developed gastro within 6 hours!

Great place, with good customer service. They have really good steak sandwiches. But the music is not the greatest. Would recommend though.

Ordered what looked like a good pizza from the menu. Came out and was basically a bad frozen pizza. Waitress came to see if the food was ok and gave my honest opinion on my meal. She assured me the dough is made in house but theres no possible way any mans hand could machine the consistent thickness and perfect circle. Was absolutely a frozen pizza. Had a parma as a replacement.. dry as anything. Possibly pre made and heated or deepfried as crumb was soggy and not crispy.Chefs or pub management need to lift there game there. Overpriced and food is better at home unfortunately 👎👎

The location is fantastic but the food was very disappointing. Dry tasteless salads and the premium scotch fillet that I had was over cooked. Our meals were served over a 20 min period so some people did not get their meals until some people were finishing theirs. We had a group of 12 and none of us will be back again.

Ordered two separate calamari lunches on 7th Sept. Cheap something imitation. I was told it was calamari. Tasted nothing like calamari. Make your own mind up?

Had lunch today with the family. Lovely dining area with beautiful vista over a lake. Very friendly and professional staff. Nice range of menu choices. Very enjoyable meals all promptly servedDefinitely recommend.

We had another lovely experience yesterday having lunch at Brightwater Tavern. We were greeted by John who was bright & happy & looked after us perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious & served in a timely manner. Thankyou for such a lovely dining experience!!

The food and service were good when we had a meal on a Saturday night. Unfortunately it was noisy and crowded.

Ok, very expensive these days. Some meals were great, others not so. First time Ive ever been served Peking duck pancakes where the pancakes seemed to have been toasted (crispy charcoal edges 😔and absolutely no sauce! Would never order again.The chicken carbonara was lovely and the schnitzel good too.

Lovely venue but food pretty tasteless. Insipid chicken pizza and bacon always fatty and undercooked. Most salads are drenched in oil.We still go here because its so convenientStick to fish and chips - pretty sure they cant get that wrong.

We went for Dinner Saturday Night, we had the steak with mash & veges. Absolutely delicious. This was the first time I had visited. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful views, loved my experience. We will be back for sure.

Grab your fambam for lunch and order from menu that boasts something for everybody, from an incredible snitty burger & steak sanger to mushroom risotto & quinoa salad.The kids enjoyed the park which was just next door, whilst the bigger kids chatted over some cold tap beers and watched the day fade away lakeside.Great service and clearly a locals favourite going by the turnout.

Came here for dinner with some friends to celebrate a very special Day. Staff was great , they took good care of us and helped us in every way. Location is fantastic as well as the food! Probably the best pub in all the Sunshine Coast! Highly recommend!

A big shout out to Tracey at Brightwater always gives that bit more when it comes to customer service. Recently took my elderly mother there for lunch and Tracey went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable

Great location and staff along with fast service and the lovely coffee martini. But the $36+ fancy steak was pancake thin and could have been served on a tea cup saucer. Such a great location though out on the deck next to the water

We enjoyed our meals. Had a great view seated outside overlooking the water. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Mothers day breakfast. Ordered big breakfast, eggs benedict. More expensive than going to mooloolaba esplanade for breakfast with no table service. Did not even have orange juice in stock. Overall staff were rude or unhelpful. Poor experience. Would not recommend.

Previously had great meals. This time was my husbands birthday.....prices had gone up, parmigiana size had gone down. My son didnt finish his, it was dry. Mine was warm on one end cold on the other. The Birthday boys was minus the bacon! Not impressed!

Lovely venue. Friendly staff. Good menu choice. No issues with waiting for a table etc...they have recently changed there menu.

Erika at the bar was so lovely and helpful. Shes is the only reason this review went from 4 to 5 stars. Someone give this wonder lady a raise

Nice meal, well presented and not too expensive. So many pubs and taverns are now charging as much as a good restaurant.Enjoyed a lovely salmon dish and the others enjoyed their selections as well.

Really nice meals and friendly staff however its a very noisy venue especially when your table is next to the kids play area!!! Maybe they could arrange dining for parents closer to keep an eye on their kids.

Hidden Gem this place! Great food options, friendly staff and a massive outdoor/patio area with views over the water. Beats the hell out of most pubs in this neck of the coast.

A great pub on the lake at Brightwater so clean an bright with a great atmosphere. Good deck bistro and kids room very kid friendly. Staff are so attentive and friendly. Fantastic selection for drinks. Seniors and kids menu and lunch menu $15.. you might think only 4 stars after saying such good things but I had the panko crumbed fish and chips and it was awful. Dry frozen fillets with average chips and a rocket salad. Other meals that came out from the kitchen looked good but I couldn’t even eat mine. John loved his meal I have maybe just ordered the wrong thing but when it said panko fillets I thought they may have been fresh

I have dined hear several times and its always been good. However today I think the service has got even better. Plus the food us still very good and sensibly priced.I ate with a group and everyone got their meals pretty much at the same time.

The view is good and the food was delicious.This was my first time eating here and it won’t be my last. 4 adults and 2 kids had dinner Sunday night. Kids eat free on Sundays, so that’s fantastic!We had a minor issue with our order and someone (maybe the managercame to our table and sorted it out promptly and without any drama.The only food complaint I have is definitely a complaint you wouldn’t get elsewhere, there was actually too much chicken and not enough pasta in my meal. Just kidding, but there was so much in the dish, it was delicious!My real complaint and why I didn’t give 5 stars is because we asked for no ice in our drinks, but we were told that all drinks have to have ice. Never have I ever been forced to have ice in a drink. Especially a Canadian Club.

Very nice selection of food and drinks. The meals were great and nicely portioned.We was told to wait for 20-30 mins before service, but we actually had to wait for about 45 mins.Definitely will go back when I get another chance!

I really enjoyed my time here. It was a little on the expensive side for meals, but for the most part they are well prepared.My two criticisms from my dine in experience was that my pork wasnt cooked well enough, the skin was very rubbery in the center but the edges were crackled perfectly - I would have loved to have seen this across the whole skin. Dining in was very very busy, so Im assuming that this was simply because the chef was rushed with the peak hour dining in. The other issue was with drinks, it took me three times for my drink order to be done correctly. I usually request no ice with my drinks as my teeth are sensitive, and I had to ask the staff three times to get this followed. In the end, they got it right, but it was a bit frustrating to have that happen.Despite these issues, the staff were mostly attentive and friendly. When we wanted to order extra drinks, the staff members were available, and food for our group came out mostly at the same time with a focus on getting the kids meals and appetisers out first which we appreciated.The waterfront view here is absolutely stunning. It was such a relaxing afternoon to enjoy drinks and lunch near the deck. Large airy rooms for big partys (like ours). Very appreciative they didnt charge publiic holiday loading onto meals or drinks. Very relaxed setting looking out over the water.Couple of meal orders slow in coming out but good value for $

Love our local!! Great friendly efficient staff. There is always a nice atmosphere ( the view helpsand the food is great. Also a fun kids room for when they get sick of adults blah blah blah.

We started the night with the Antipasto platter, very nice and fresh what a great start; Highly recommend that one. Our Mains were the Sirloin Steak (Mushroom Saucewith Chips and Salad and the Panko Crumbed Calamari Salad. The steak was Tender and succulent, Mushroom sauce was not much more than normal gravy with a few slices of mushroom and the chips and salad were fresh and crispy. The Panko Crumbed Calamari was cooked to perfection very tender, melted in my mouth and the salad was very nice with the accompanying Chilli Mayo dressing. The Staff were very friendly and happy to offer advice about the menu. The food service was fast and the beverage service was great too.
