Väldigt fint och intressant museum. Lagom info, väldigt mycket att se samt mycket som du även kan ta på. Passar alla åldrar. Extra kul om du själv även gjort lumpen

Åkte 2 1/2 timma till detta fantastiska museum. Barnbarnets julklapp. Lärorikt o roligt att få testa på olika grejer. Supertrevlig och kunnig personal och goda mackor och fika. Verkligen en bra utflykt.

Överraskades av att det var så stort. Mycket intressant, väl värt sina 80kr i inträde, behöver besökas igen för att få med sig allt, ett oerhört bra utbud på deras cafeteria, både smörgåsar och sötsaker, liten fin souvenir butik.

Wer sich für Militärgeschichte interessiert ist genau richtig. Schöne Ausstellung mit greifbaren Exponaten. Danach einen Kaffee mit Zimtschnecke absolut zu empfehlen.

Tillgängligt museum, berättar om tiden efter världskrigen. Intressant om kvinnorna i krigstid från högaffel till AK 4.

Väldigt intressant och kul museum. Mycket kläm, känn och pröva på. Museumvärdar som går omkring och svarar på frågor och berättar.

Mycket bra utställningar och vettiga saker som passade alla åldrar. Plus till personalen som var otroligt servicemedvetna och kunniga. Rekommenderas varmt.

Himla fint museum! Väldigt interaktivt och näst intill allt kan och får pillas på!Finns skattjakt för de mindre, vi valde att hitta djur och de va perfekt för två treåringar!

Det var tyvärr stängt när jag var här men det var kul med den rosa stridsvagnen och dom andra fordonen på baksidan!

Kul och läsa om svensk militär historia under kalla kriget. Uppskattat både för barn och vuxna.Kan starkt rekommendera.

Trevligt bemötande och en intressant utställning.

Tells the story of Sweden during the Cold War through Värmlands own infantry brigade. But its not just another military museum, there is a lot of background on what Sweden was like during the post-war period. Incidentally the explanatory texts are all in excellent English as well as Swedish (said he modestly who translated them!).

sjukt mysigt ställe, aldrig haft möjlighet att besöka insidan av museet pga restriktioner, men att vandra utanför och besöka den rosa pansarvagnen händer då och då 😀

Absolutes geniales Museum, einer unserer Schweden Hilights. Wir hatten das große Glück auf Herrn Michel zu treffen der Deutsch sprach und uns vor Ort mit viele Informationen zu den Ausstellungsstücken bereichern konnte. Ich muss ehrlich gestehen das war einer der besten Besuche die ich je in einem Museum hatte. Wir haben viel über das Schwedische Militär und seine Vergangenheit lernen können. Aber durch Herrn Michel auch einen guten Eindruck der derzeitigen Situation politisch sowie faktisch bekommen. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team!!! Ach ja und die Zimtschnecken waren auch super.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Freundliche und Hilfsbreite Mitarbeiter mit viel Wissen und großer Freude Fragen zu beantworten. Die Ausstellung überzeugt mit vielen Details und ist sehr anschaulich gestaltet! Anfassen und erleben nicht nur erlaubt, sondern erwünscht. Für jedes Alter gibt es was zu entdecken und auch für Kinder einiges extra! Das für nur 8€ Eintritt für Erwachsene, was bei dem gebotenen mehr als fair ist. Auch das kleine Cafe ist wirklich gut und die Zimtschnecken eine Empfehlung!

Fantastisk museum, inträdet är väl värt.Klart värt ett stopp.Det finns något för alla, OBS sjukvårdsavdelningen och min avdelningen är inget för dem små.För alla 80 talister så finns det en avdelning.Skjutsimulatorn var extra skoj för 10 åringen, gratis så det är kostar bara tid.Själv uppskattar jag maskiner och vapen på museet.Väldigt bra café med toaletter.Fler våningar, hiss finns.Dem största pjäserna står uppställda utomhus.Det är större än man tror, så planera in ett lägre stop.

Oj, vilket museum. Fint uppbyggda miljöer och all information om kalla kriget. Här kan man gå länge för att hinna ta in allt. Mycket trevlig och engagerad personal. Smörgåsen "Generalen" var bara den värd besöket. Museet är värt att besöka fler gånger.

Superfint arrangerat! Massor att upptäcka för vuxna och små. Älskar att det fanns så mycket interaktiva saker för barnen. Personalen var helt fantastisk, engagerade och pedagogiska. Definitivt värt ett besök!

Känner att jag är "tvungen" att besöka Brigadmuseet igen, vid tillfälle! Då, utan små barn - som absolut o visst tyckte det var spännande, men .. - för att mer kunna ta rundvandringen, i egen takt, begrunda och samtidigt bättra på allmänkunskapen, plus någon lokalspecifik historia, att berätta vidare om .. ;✌☮

This is a very good museum. Its very interesting and you can learns a lot. We had the chance to have a personal guide. He told us a lot of private military details, cause hes been an ex UN-soldier and decorated with the Nobel-Price.He took all the time, we wanted.Theres also a little café with good snacks.Its very worthwhile to visit this exhibition.Thanks to Wolfgang, our guide.

Brigadmuseum berättar inte bara Sveriges militära historia, i utställningarna finns massor av spännande information, läsning och föremål som berättar om samhällsutvecklingen från 1900-talets första hälft och fram till idag. Museet inspirerar barn (och vuxnatill upptäckande då de flesta föremålen får röras och undersökas av den som vill. Det går lätt att bränna tre timmar i utställningarna, efteråt rekommenderas en fika i museets trevliga café (med klart vettiga priser). Fräscha och välstädade toaletter är ett annat stort plus. Vi (två vuxna och två barn i åldern 9-11kan verkligen rekommendera ett besök!

The museum is good and we spend about 2h but had it not been for the bad air and too much people (corona timewe would have spent some more time to read all the posters.

Excellent cold war museum focused on the Swedish army. It went quite into detail on the various aspects of military service, and brought back a lot of memories. Recommended for anyone who wants more than just a general overview of the subject.

I liked this very much. It is specialised in military and world conflicts since the end of ww2. The staff is friendly and there was 2 cute guys working there when I did visit.

Was a nice museum. Nice excuse to walk a bit and has a nice little cafe. It also has some interactive portions which is unique.

Fantastic

Good military museum, even if there are not many big tanks. This museum explaines the history of the cold war. Its very modern and shows many smaller artefacts of the time and gives good information. There is even a shooting simulator. You can have a drink, coffee and cake or small meal. There are some original army things to buy as souvenir. Outside a few tanks and cannons. Visitor reception very professional, toilets modern and clean. Free parking in front.

Definitely go there when in the area. The explanations are all in Swedish and English. It is also bigger than it seems at first.

Very interesting museum! I am not so interested in war, but this museum has a good mix of war (different wars e.g. WW I and WW IIand the development of swedisch life in the last 150 years.Its possible to interact and trying to shoot with a rifle or a anti-tank missile.Nice Café in- and outdoors and very friendly staff.Entry ticket cost SEK 80, which is ok.

Great exhibits and info about Sweden from WWII to the Cold War. Theres even interactive exhibitions where you can shoot with rifles and rocket launchers at large screens.

Much local military history well explained in one place, plus a helpful staff

The museum theme is being a small country located in between the two military alliances. Visitors can walk around and touch the displayed artefacts, except some valuables which is displayed behind glass.

This Military meusem is one of the best Ive ever been too. I was lucky enough to meet a gentleman that works here and he took me all around on a personal tour. He was so happy to hear I was visiting from Canada. He went out of his way to show and explain all sorts about the exhibits. The young ladies at the front desk were very nice and spoke English well too. I was very impressed with the quality and realness of the displays. Its easy to see a lot of work has gone into this modern facility. They have a really good selection of Military toys, clothing, and other items that seemed reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this location if your interested the Military and its history. This will be the first place Ill come to if I ever visit Karlstad again.
