Brice Hill Country Lodge in Clare

Quality at your Doorstep. Stayed for two nights and was not disappointed. I wanted to take the bed away with me it was so comfortable. Lots of provisions for breakfast and the restaurants are but a shot distance from the lodge. Wifi worked a treat, bathroom was well laid out and had all the usual things one needs and the lounge was really comfortable. Wine and chocolates were there on arrival and it was so peaceful. A magic setting

Very well appointed accommodation. Very clean and spacious also. A bottle of wine and chocolates greeted us upon arrival. Plenty of provisions left for breakfast. Wood heater is in the lounge all set up ready go and Plenty of wood to keep it going. Stay a night or stay a week ,you wont be disappointed.

Lovely couples only cottages. Very cosy with the wood fire raging on an icy cold evening. Fridge was stocked with eggs, yogurt, milk and juice. Thoughtful touches like this will have us stay again...Excellent!

Excellent service, beautiful place!

Nice place to stay, accommodation was tidy and very clean. But we didnt like the spider webs underneath the outside furniture and the redbacks around the pool furniture. I suppose thats the country environment for you!

There are not enough positive words in the English language to describe how amazing our stay was at Brice Hill Country Club. We stayed there for 3 nights in September for our second wedding anniversary and the accomodation, service, and kindness from hosts Mick and Chris were all extraordinary.

Mick and Chris went above and beyond for us, providing extra coffee at our doorstep when requested, a bottle of red wine on arrival, and the complimentary bacon and egg breakfast was delicious and lasted us the whole weekend! They offered to pick us up and bring us back to the accomodation after our nights out, and were extremely helpful in organising another night when we decided to extend our stay. The icing on the cake was when my husband badly hurt his rib after being swooped by a magpie on the Riesling trail bike ride, and Mick collected our bikes and picked us up from the Clare hospital. He drove us back to our room and was overall extremely supportive. Words can’t explain how grateful we were.

We highly recommend Brice Hill Country Lodge, especially the Tim Knappstein suite (omg the spa is huge!). We made a fire in the combustion fireplace each night which was very cozy, while each day we had amazing weather for touring the town.If you’re looking to get away for a few nights, Brice Hill Country Lodge is the perfect place for relaxation, privacy and luxury!Thanks so much Mick and Chris!

Beautiful accommodations with spacious and comfy rooms, kind and generous owners with gifts on arrival! Cycle hire right next door was super convenient

Comfortable, clean and cosy! Breakfast provisions were generous and delicious. The amenities and facilities are excellent, and service was genuine and excellent. The location is perfect for days spent wining and dining along the Riesling Trail. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times now. It is a fantastic location, right on the Riesling Trail. The open fire is wonderful, and you are supplied with more than enough wood for your entire stay. We will be back again next time we are in Clare.

Nice appointed rooms, swimming pool, and grassed area. Property is close to Clare and has direct access to the cycle trail. We enjoyed our time.

Accommodation was quite comfortable, breakfast provisions were excellent.Central to wineries.Has a pool and an inside spa. Also has a private bbq area at the back of the apartment.Exceptional air conditioning, wonderfully laid out gardens.

A wonderful place to stay, very comfortable. Stayed during winter in the Pauletts suite and had the slow combustion heater going all day. The circular spa bath is the highlight of this suite.Only (minordownside was hearing the toilet and sink plumbing anytime the bathroom was used in the adjoining Taylors suite.

Wonderful stay in the country. Generously sized, charming self-contained lodges, directly on the Riesling Trail with easy access to several cellar doors. Has everything you could wish for, from a fridge full of breakfast supplies to band-aids. Amazing views of stars from enclosed back BBQ area.
