Quaint cafe with plush seating & quirky decor serving espresso drinks, creative lattes & pastries.
Four stars due to scammy printer kiosk charged me $10 for a $2 service. Ultimately the chat rep said "Your card is charged in tiers."Theres nothing on the kiosk printer listing "Tiered" The only option is to swipe card after accepting the $1.74 fee, the same price listed on the website listed the same price displayed on the kiosk inside the place.Ultimately the person who replied to my email said customers are charged for printing in "tiers." The website mentions nothing about tiers(unless the owner runs the domain and has since updated the site). The rep wouldve been better off saying the extra $8 I was charged for printer was a donation to Brewpoint.Instead he emailed me information not relative or found anywhere on the website or at kiosk; two stars I forgot about the tastless vegan or organic (whatever they were)brownies at $8.
Yesterday was my first time at Brewpoint Coffee, and I loved it! Great location near the center of downtown, delicious home brew, and the line moved along quickly. Prices reasonable, and a friendly staff. Everything you could want in a local coffee shop!
I didn’t get anything, but I am so incredibly grateful they allowed me to crash here, no questions asked. I accidentally took the express train in very cold weather, and i was able to wait there to be picked up. Wonderful staff.
Great coffee. But the cup you serve it in is one nanoplastic away from being called a plastic bag, not a plastic cup. Cautiously drinking delicious coffee. No bueno.
They made a really tasty matcha. And then even showed me how to make it when I asked 😀 Much appreciated.Only suggestion would be to include some healthy snack options alongside the muffins, donuts, etc.
This was such a cute spot! Great space for getting work done with a cozy atmosphere. The ice blended coffee I got was very tasty too!
What can I say aside from the fact that I try a new bakery item everytime and everytime it is like one of the best things that I have ever ate.Basic Blueberry scone? Wow!Goat cheese and sundried tomato scone? Couldnr stop eating it and am now sad that they have been out when I come back BECAUSE they arebso damn good.Ham and cheese croissant? I don even like Ham and this was so slapping I wasgoing to save a bite for my partner to try but selfiahed bailed and without remorse ate the last of it myself. What to drink? Ive only gotten the iced lavender latte with oatmilk and it is so good that I have converted friends to also come here just for that.Plus the folx who serve this glory are supreme beings. Thanks, friends.
The latte is really good the place is clean and smells good 👍🏽 and the price is reasonable compared to others
Mixed review hereIm a long time fan of the drinks and Brewpoint Founders café was my all time favorite coffee shop from the area because of its former cozy feel and cute aestheticBut all that said the place has gone to shambles since the newer location was built ( this coffee shop now seems so neglected and lacking tlc)For example, the floors are in a desperate need of refinishing, the tables look rickety and poor quality, the cute cozy corner that formerly had books and pillows is bare, the couch is gone and theres no comfortable seating, any cute art from local artists is goneInstead there is now a blazing neon sign with the logo on the wall which kinda ruins the ambiance (and for anyone like me with migraines triggered by powerful light, its way too much)I love this place for its drinks and for its potential but it needs some loveeeIt just makes me sad lately to go thereAnd Im not the only one that has noticedOthers Ive gone with that hadnt visited in awhile have pointed out the neglect
Had a pretty standard experience here. I would more accurately give it a 3.5 rating. It was in a really cute location amidst a whole slew of shops. The interior was nice but smaller than I was anticipating. Very limited amount of seating, but if the weather is nice, I think I saw a table or two outside as well. Plus you can take a walk around the area!I went on a Sunday morning, and before I ordered, the barista informed me that it would be at least a 20 minute wait for my drink (an iced coffee with cream). I think it was because they were also managing a drive-thru and maybe mobile orders, but that was the first time I have ever had to wait that long for my coffee at a local shop. I wasn’t in a rush so I didn’t mind it much, just something to note. I would take the time at which you go into consideration if you’re in a hurry! There was also a limited supply of pastries when I arrived. I got there in the later part of the morning, so plan to get there earlier if you want more pastry/baked good options.
Love it here! Super sweet staff and probably best coffee shop in Elmhurst, drink and atmosphere wise.
The coffee was good, but a little too light for my taste. Ambient was a little loud in the main area, but in the back it was more chill. Overall nice little coffee shop.
Nice space to work/study. Really good coffee, matcha latte and chai latte. My only wish is that they had more unsweet/sugar free flavored specials. Friendly staff.
Went here for coffee and to meet up with my mentor. Great coffee and great ambiance. Their pastries were pretty good as well! Would definitely come back
I used to be a loyal customer and stopped here every time I was in elmhurst until I moved away too far to go as often. During my frequent visits I had accumulated 10 punches on the punch card they offered and was excited to return to finally get the free 11th drink I earned. I wasn’t able to visit for a long time due to Covid, but recently returned only to find out they “no longer accept the punch cards”. Ok…so don’t hand them out anymore, but I find it completely ridiculous that they refused to take the one I already had completed. Not sure if this place is under new ownership because the interior looks very sad now and the drinks have changed, but bad move on the owners’ part to not honor something so simple. I won’t go out of my way in the future to stop here.
One of my favorite local shops. They have seasonal selections and their classic roasts are great. The shop itself is very cozy, and will make you want to stay. Their signature lattes are my favorites
Great coffee spot in the downtown area of Elmhurst. Cappuccino and sprinkle cookie were great and was reasonable at under $7 altogether. Staff is nice and helpful. Inside its cozy with good decor and outdoor seating available. I just wished they offer espresso but otherwise the cappuccino was great!
First and foremost, the location is in a great spot. We love downtown Elmhurst and the aesthetic of the storefront is spot on. However, our experience with the walk up ordering process left a lot to be desired. After ordering two cups of coffee that required cold brew and waiting 15 minutes for our order, the barista came back to tell us they were out of the cold brew and other components required to make the drink. When we finally got our coffee (which was completely different from our original order since they didn’t have the necessary ingredients to fulfill the first orderthe order wasn’t called out and I had to ask the barista for our drinks which were visible from the walk up window. The coffees were lukewarm, but they were flavorful. Despite our first experience, my wife and I visited again but went inside of the cafe this time. The experience was completely different. It was fast, friendly and the coffee was incredible (probably because it was hot this time and the flavors weren’t as muted as the first). Don’t order from the walk up bar, order from the inside. It’s a good place, just a bad first experience.
This was my first time trying this coffee shop. Ive been trying to find a cute place to go that doesnt get too loud, and this was perfect. The employees were super friendly and they helped me decide what I might like based on a few questions of what I prefer (coffee vs. tea, sweet or not, etc). Some of the best coffee Ive ever tasted. I cant wait to come back to get my caffeine fix.
Their special coffees are great! You’ll get a detailed explanation if you ask them. Nice place. It has a sit out as well.
Was wanting a decent coffee and saw this was one of the highest rated in the area. This was a Sunday morning and I was hopeful. I asked if they could make a flat white. The woman at the counter said "they dont have that kind of espresso" and thats a "Starbucks thing".She also then said it would be a 20-30 minute wait for a coffee. So I left.(1maybe buy another coffee machine?(2some barista training is needed.
Nice place but service can be slow for coffee drinks.
Love Brewpoints coffee and used to come here regularly. However, recently have had several instances of questionable customer service. I felt like they were less than welcoming to my visit.
Friendly staff..... Great coffee drinks and interesting snacks.
Super cool shop. We chose to go here for their vegan bakery options and according to my family they tasted great! I had the ham and cheese croissant, which was also very good (def not vegan lol). Its a nice shop right across from the train station and easy to get to. They move pretty quickly and their flavored syrup doesnt have that chemical taste that Ive experienced and other small shops (iykyk).
I love this shop. Its so cute and has great items for a fairly good price. Also sometimes I get off the train and nature calls and they let me use their bathroom without getting mad I didnt buy something. The staff is always pleasant and attentive and its a clean place.
i walked in yesterday and was welcomed kindly, the shop is peaceful and enjoyable. i loved the decorations as well as the workers!!!the kind man at the counter gave me his recommendations based on a general idea of my likings and i’d have to say, i very much liked the latte that i ended up getting. i believe it was a caramel praline iced latte? i can’t exactly remember but all i know is i had a lovely visit. i most certainly will be back, and will recommend this place to anyone i know who might find themselves in that area!
I adore their signature lattes, I tested all of them and all of them delicious!Great place, nice and friendly staff. Sometimes it gets busy here, prepare to wait 5-10-15 minutes in rush hour.Overall: I would definitely come back and recommend this place!
Adorable cafe! Love the names of their lattes and the taste matches :I got one of the spring drinks (iced latteand it was yum 👌
The coffee shop is supper cute..but this coffee is amazing 😋 I mean look how beautiful it is!
Excellent coffee. A cute little coffee shop as well. Extremely cautious and considerate of the pandemic which I really appreciate. The latte I got was delicious, not too sweet and the perfect blend of the latte flavors with the taste of coffee. Highly recommend.
Exceptional coffee shop! Had the Salted Almond Biscotti latte with Oatly milk and it was outstanding. Also had the pirouette, which is perfect for those who dont like super sweet coffee. Finally, we were surprised and delighted to see they also sell WestTown Bakery cake balls!! We will DEFINITELY be back and highly suggest Brewpoint for anyone who has not yet stopped in.
Creative and tasty espresso drinks by friendly and helpful staff. Great spot! The pastry selection (including some gluten free stuffis pretty good. Theres also a waffle shop that operates at the back from morning to lunch called Waffle Iron. Didnt try the waffles, but they looked solid!
Staff was courteous and mindful of COVID precautions. You order inside and follow the arrows leading to a door outside, where you wait briefly for your order. Tried a star anise latte (one of the seasonal drinksand a blended salted caramel frappe. Pastry selection looked great!
My favorite weekly treat! Such sweet employees and amazing coffee. My favorite drink so far is their Iced Dirty Chai - it is delicious. Lines outside have been a bit long during peak times, but definitely worth the wait or order ahead.
I rented their space for my baby shower. I really like the coffee shop and I liked how the staff was nice and kind. The space was kind of small but it was reasonable for 20 people. They have another location for bigger parties. I would rent again and I recommend for anyone else. Their prices are reasonable for good locations and the amount of space you want to rent.
Staff is always friendly and always smiling. The selection of coffee they have is always on point. Their menu is arguably more expensive than your typical chain shop, but its well worth it. Youre paying for excellent quality of ingredients, great taste, and to support the shop as a whole.
Friendly staff, quick service, great atmosphere, just not great tasting drinks in my opinion; bitter coffee and the chai tea lattes spices were overwhelming.
The decor in this little coffee house is so adorable! They have a wide coffee menu for such a small place, along with a good food menu. I only had tea when I went, which was extremely refreshing and light, but my friend had coffee (I cant remember what it wasbut I had a few sips and it was delicious! Cant wait to go back and try some different coffees on their menu!
Really love coming here to just chill with my friends, it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the coffee is some of the best Ive ever had, but the doughnuts are the best thing on the menu, way better than anything youll get at dunkin or Krispy Kreme. I cant recommend this place enough.
Want to get out of the house and keep your kitchen clean.Put Brewpoint in your GPS and head out the door.Americano coffee, so bold so good.We have been here 3 times.Clean corner store.A place to take your dogs.Pet station to get water and let your dog rest.Friendly staff , great music.A place to take a relaxing walk.I hope you enjoy this place like we have. We will return again.
Decor is warm and inviting in this small space: barn wood, globes, world maps on the wall, and a generous supply of games for those whod like to hang out awhile. (Games include Settlers, Ticket to Ride, Dominion, Tsuro of the Seas, plus old standbys such as Monopoly, Life & Connect Four.Oh, and the coffe is excellent as well!
Nice little spot in the heart of Elmhurst. Lots of comfortable seating. Their coffee is goooooood. Their latte game is strong with ton of different fun flavors they mix. But what gets me back again and again is their coffee...straight up black...super flavorful.
My favorite coffee place. They have board games for casual coffee dates, including CLUE, The Office edition. Which is amazing. But their coffee is super good, the flavors are nothing like youll get anywhere else. And I am lactose intolerant, so their oak milk substitute is super nice on my tummy 😊!
I love their cappuccino. The medium size is SO BIG and so cheap. The foam slides against the mug instead of staying stuck and then needing a spoon to finish it (cappuccino lovers will know what I’m talking about). They also have so many other drinks that look delicious! One time I tried a cardadamom rose tea latte or something like that (I think it was seasonaland it was absolutely fantastic. I also really like the mugs they sell. I bought one the first time I went there. The location is a little small but it’s not enough of an inconvenience for me to deduct any stars. The other locations they have are bigger so I could just go there instead too 😊
Hands down my favorite coffee shop. I go regularly and am always impressed. They offer pastries and beverages in great variety, such as their lavendar Chai and Lumberjack lattes.
Lovely experience here at the Brewpoint coffeeshop. Greeted by staff with a warming smile and active explanation of menu items which is important for newcomers. I had the blended Marco Polo which is mocha, expression, and whole milk with a hint of caramel. On top of that I had the old fashioned donut and I highly recommend most. Cozy but small interior but a wonderful place to stop in and get some work down. There is free WiFi here as well. 10/10 recommend.
I love this place. I love all the options. I love the nook seat. I mean, what else do you need?? Oh yeah, they also have a wide variety of games!!
Awesome coffee and friendly service! Some of the best regular coffee and cool creations; tried the “prezelnut” which was a blend of hazelnut and pralines 😃
Every drink ive ever tried from Brewpoint has been amazing! They are constantly adding new drinks, and the pastries are top-notch. It can get very crowded so be weary if youre looking to set up shop for a long time, but do note there is additional seating in the back room!
