Saw a band, live music, whats not to like?

Played a gig there. excellent crowd, great staff, great landlord. Had a blast....got paid!

First time in, went to watch a local band we follow, great venue prices not too bad.Overall nice little pub/venue.

Been a few years since i been to the Tap and had a good night, was surprised they had Black Sheep ale on. The band was good too but their material wasnt well suited to the tap, not even one AC/DC track but ABBA was close enough 🤣👍. Top staff never had to wait long for a beer. Ill go back again soon for another cracking night.

Great venue for live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday cant beat the sound of good bands love this pub great staff and atmosphere.

Real pub great service top class real ale, top class service,always 1st class ale 7 days a week,best in the district.

Lovely place, cant wait for live music to be back on.Edit, live music is back on and its great. Sound is better than youd expect in this space and vibe is good.

Proper rock bar. Pool table, decent juke box. Ale not the best however

Good band on. Beer wasnt too expensive. Service was relatively fast considering how busy it was. It was a good night.

I love this place. Only been in twice but after the first visit I really wanted to go back. I love the feel of the place. Staff are lovely, locals are friendly. Its kind of a rockers pub, Im not a rocker, I love all kinds of music. This is totally my kind of pub.

.stumbled on it by chance, rock bands play here regulary, but went 4 quiet pint monday night with my daughter, who doesnt drink normaly, but she fell in love with this pub, great juke box, and the regulars are so friendly, superb!!@!

Good bands friendly barman that served us but the bar needs better gin selection also big group of mouthy teenagers with hoods up hanging around outside and In toilets making the atmosphere uncomfortable

The best pub in the world! Electric atmosphere. Tip top pint of Guinness. Fantastic music and a brilliant crowd. The staff are all so good t what they do. I just love it!

Great little pub have some great bands on every week friendly staff and locals

Love this hidden gem of a pub, visited a few times now to see bands from local area and further a field. No poppy dance cheese music here so dont be expecting it! Just hard rocking riffs and drinks to match. Trooper on tap is a god send. Staff are friendly and even when the pub is packed they are all over it like a rash, no long waits for drinks. Not sure if they do food, may stretch to a pack of crisps and scratchings, after all it is a drinking pub. Keep it up guys, see you again soon.

Its The Brewery Tap, possibly the coolest pub in Idle, like, without trying to be cool. It just is. The music may have changed since I first started going twenty-odd years ago, but it is still the go to venue for live music in Idle. Others have tried and failed. Others still do have acoustic sessions, and others have pub singers; they all have a place. But The Tap is the place for bands and a BIG sound experience! Take your earplugs!

I went on a quiet Monday night and got an increadably warm welcome. Staff and owners obviously care about the pub and its customers. Weekly live music with all bands booked up 3 months ahead, fantastic to see.
