No-nonsense chain bar specialising in the Scottish brewery's craft beers, with regular guest brews.
Great experience.Bar staff was very helpful. Menu has definitely improved since last visit too! So the kitchen has moved away from pizzas and now do the well known brewdog burgers. Looking forward to coming back already.
I really liked their craft beer but the venue is boring. A new decoration is needed I think.
Great beers, nice food, nice staff.
Suitably laid back and relaxing together with some potent drinks available makes this place a welcome choice from the thumping music hum drum of the city centre.A welcome get away from the “strip” of Above Bar cocktail venues. A connoisseur’s delight.
My husband and I came here on a whim while vacationing from America on our honeymoon. We we’re absolutely amazed and blown away by the quality of the food and beer we received. Amazing beer! And THE BEST BURGER I’VE EVER HAD!!!! We split the Pork and Brie burger and my lord it was amazing I will forever remember this amazing burger. 10/10 guys you really did great.
Really nice and special place to get a special beer.
We went on Friday lunch - gem of a find, amazing urban location, great beers of course, food was very tasty and importantly really friendly and helpful staff. Definitely planning a return trip
I do like the beer. The new burgers are good but maybe a bit on the pricey side. 5 chicken wings for £9 was a bit steep when you can get unlimited wings for £11 on a Wednesday (I did go on. Friday tbf, but still...!! They were nice though! 😂
Fantastic atmosphere, great pizzas, friendly staff. The Selection of beer is amazing. We will be back
Good selection of both house brewery beers and guest. Market prices around £5 for 5 % pints then strong abvs £5 for half.2022Great selection of beers as always :)
Good atmosphere with a good selection of drinks and really good wings. Would probably come back on the Wednesday to try their all you can eat wings.
Many a nice time to be had here. Very nice atmosphere, Very knowledgeable staff, Love the Vegetarian pizzas, love the guest and Brewdog own beers. Look out for LazerQuest its a delight
Shared a beer tasting class with cheese with a good friend here. Our host Alan was fantastic, he has worked in hospitality for many years and the depth of his knowledge comes across in the session as he described the different tastes that each drink captured along with the cheese and crackers! I would recommend this as a gift to anyone looking for a sociable experience.
Met with some friends for pizza and beer. Great atmosphere, excellent food, really good drinks! Definitely worth a visit. Our server, Ashley, was amazing - gave us excellent recommendations and just generally astounding service. Will definitely be returning for another round of cauliflower wings and a sour pint!!
Amazing service, lovely team, great drinks. Every year for my brothers birthday we travel from the island over to brewdog and get some drinks. We always have a great time.
Really attentive staff. Great beer, good chicken wings and pizza. Happy to can some beer thats not yet for general off-license sake otherwise. Near to a lot of other good bars and well worth a few steps from the city centre!
One of my favourite Brewdogs.Beautiful building, decent beer selection and friendly staff, atmosphere was really nice too.App works well with drinks arriving at the table quickly.
Came with a friend on Monday 17th May. We were served by the whole team at various points. The lady that seated us was sweet and funny and made us feel really welcome. The second guy that served us lent me his charger. The third was awesome, all of them were super knowledgable. And the fourth dealt with a tricky situation with an ex turning up with total confidence and grace.I work in branding and this is one of the best examples of a team embodying brand values I have ever seen. Totally a credit to Brewdog. HO needs to give them a raise.
Popped in for a quick pint, amazing drinks, friendly staff. We all recommend the alcohol free beer, which tastes like actual beer!
You guys were great. We came in during lockdown for beers, pizza and wings. One of our party had specific dietary requirements and you went out of your way to ensure our experience was a good one. Thank you. P.s. I love Double Punk!!!
Great place, fab beers. Here is Zombie Cake and a snifter of Tiramisu Crew [12%!]
Great beer and attentive staff in a rustic setting.
The beer and selection of beers is good. The food is limited and the pizza over priced compared to a similar offering thats bigger in size and uses a better ingredient quality from Franco Mancas. We werent allowed to order wings because we hadnt booked for Wing Wednesday as we didnt realise we needed to. The service is friendly but slow, as we found in the BrewDog we visited in Edinburgh too so its not a local issue. Id go there for beer but nothing else.
Good service, nice place, lovely pizza with some decent keg beer. I will be coming back again.
Lovely staff, and clearly taking all the right Covid precautions seriously. And most importantly: great beer.
Excellent craft beer pub in the heart of Southampton. Not in fitting with most the clubs around where it is situated in Bedford Place but thats not a bad thing. Bit of a haunt for the hipster crowd. Great selection of beers
The beer was incredible. I didnt like beer before went here did the tasting and loved the flavours. So Im converted. Most of the beers were on tap but they had a beer to go fridge too. The booths were really comfy and allowed for conversation above the music. The food was delicious, especially loved the cauliflower wings. Good vegan choices. The service was attentive and the staff were knowledgeable about thier products. The shabby chic worked well in the venue. Definitely will be a returning customer.
Not bad at all. Good selection of beer and well kept. Food is limited but good. Wings and pizza cant really go wrong. Staff are very nice too. Although a chain if you like craft beer go here
A great afternoon on their taster/school session. Highly recommended
Rich and the team always make you feel welcome. The pizzas are amazing and the beer selections are always good fun if youre looking for something new and exciting to try. They also have Lonewolf Gin/Vodka behind the bar and a great selection of cocktails if you want to sample this wonderful spirit.
Great Ales and a great setting.Always enjoy a good ale and a very wide variety of ales from tasty to the strong and tasty.Never had a bad ale and the customer services and knowledge is always fantastic.
Nice place to stop off during a sunny Sunday afternoon. Was quiet as we were the only people in. Nice service pleanty of advice. The little one done a number 2 so had to leave as they dont have changing facilities. Probably a good thing as they have many tasty beers!
Nice bar. Never uncomfortably busy but maintains a decent atmosphere. Lovely beer, friendly staff, pizzas pretty good, beers pretty pricy but its great quality and discourages session drinking which results in a nicer atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a nice pint and a chat with friends, would also work well for a first date/drink
Great bar, all the staff were really friendly. Always a big selection of craft beer on tap, both Brewdogs own and guest beer. The pizza was delicious, the special with Kimchi and pulled pork especially. We had our wee puppy with us and he was made very welcome. Will definitely be back soon.
Great atmosphere, helpful staff and a wide range of beers. Came at lunchtime on a Thursday when it was very quiet; no-one else was in. 5AM Saint was brilliant, and had the Spicy Meaty and White Trash pizzas which were both delicious. Will definitely come back at some point.
Nice enough bar, but it was extremely noisy and hard to hold a conversation. Pizza could have been lovely but for the aubergine being undercooked bordering on raw... Was impressed with the balsamic glaze though. Also didnt understand the high seats in the main part of the bar, they were spectacularly uncomfortable! Id love to know the history of the building as its quite unusual for the area.
The drinks were great, however the wait for a pizza on a Saturday lunch time was over an hour. Bless the poor chap who was working there on his own though! He was very apologetic and gave us free tasters of a few beers.
Imagine going to your favourite pub chain and finding out it is two for one Pizza! Every Monday! The Southampton Brewdog offering has everything fans have come to expect; great beer, great food and great service. The bar large with a lot of seating and has a main area downstairs and a Mezzanine upstairs. The staff where excellent and helped me with my pedantic beer selection! Well done again Brewdog.
Very nice place to have calmed beer sessions.Vast selection of beers (20+and possibility of trying with 1/3 pints.Music is not loud which is very good to have a chat whilst sharing impressions of the beers.Pizzas have a reasonable size, but could improve a bit the sauce.Staff is friendly and inviting to drink and try different beers.
Really cool both from outside and inside. One of the best Brewdog pubs Ive been to.
Nice pub with lots of seating areas. Shame its in a bit of a unappealing area.
Probably my favourite BrewDog! Good location. Love the building and decor. The choice of beer is extensive and the staff are very welcoming and happy to let you taste a beer if youve never had it. The pizzas are simply amazing and the 2 for 1 deal during the week makes it amazing value too!
Cool place, good variety of beers! Havent tried the food but it smells nice! Came with the missus, liked that they have cards but limited amount of board games... Would be cool if they had more! Venue looks trendy and cool, however, its not warm and the boy room is super basic with slugs on wall which was a turn down but ladies toilet had the lot, all ladies saniteries free of charges so overall good experience but some room for improvement! Definitely recommend ;)
Went for the beer school. It was really good value and I learnt a lot. Tried five beers in total all completely different. Had a drink before staff were really friendly and was great to be able to taste a few beers before ordering.
Quite possibly the most chilled out, relaxing, friendly place to be in Southampton...decor is cool. Ale/beer selection is fantastic... A little pricey but worth it... Just dont order to buy a round and youre safe.
Cool atmosphere, tasty drinks, friendly staff. Definitely IS craft beer, and good stuff at that. Staff are more than happy to talk to you about what they would suggest for you and offer samples to further make sure that you are going to enjoy yourself completely. Haven’t ever had a pizza here but have heard great things from friends.
Great beer selection as usual for a Brewdog, and on two floors too so plenty of seating.
Really great place, they do taster glasses of all their beers so I tried a wide range and they where all great. Hipster vibe
As expected - good beers. Only 3 star as was empty (on match day...so seemed a bit quiet. Pizza selection wasnt appetizing so went elsewhere for food. Nice decor and Im pretty sure will be roaring before long.
Very quiet for a Thursday evening, especially compared with other brew dog bars Ive been too. Great beer and nice place though. Enjoyed the free games!
