16 Dean St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1PG, Durham
No-nonsense chain bar specialising in the Scottish brewery's craft beers, with regular guest brews.
Always a great range of beers with around 10 guest beers and 15 Brewdog beers on draft plus a multitude of Brewdog and guest bottles. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and happy to let you try a beer before you order. And they serve fantastic fresh pizzas too. Whats not to like?
Staff were absolutely wonderful. Pizzas, beer, wine and soft drinks all very good. Really lovely place to go for a casual drink and pizza.
We love all the Brewdogs... but this is now "up there" with Glasgow, Rome & Mancs.Great bar staff & fabulous Pizzas (was NOT expecting properly good Pizzas, but they were).Even the music was good...great choice of tracks & at a volume you could still have a conversation 👍Thanks lads & lasses 😉
Bar staff were great, very helpful and fantastic customer service, felt very comfortable and welcoming, great atmosphere, food and drinks amazing. Deffo be back
The guys behind the bar were great, fab customer service. Great atmosphere and fantastic food and drinks
Zero interest in customers. 3 staff members congregating at the end of the bar while only 1 serving. The staff were chatting and on their phones as well as one rolling a cigarette for himself on the bar counter. When 1 staff member saw it was busy, she then decided to serve but while doing so continued her conversation down the bar with her colleagues. When it paying she put the credit card machine in my face no please or thanks whatsoever. For a company that is so vocal about looking after their staff maybe educate these staff to look after their customers.
Positive visit with helpful and knowledgeable barman. Clean bar, friendly staff and great to see some options from Funky Fluid. Atmosphere felt inviting and pizzas looked decent.
Really cool pub with nice places to sit and chill. The pizza is really nice.Ive always thought the beer is average and very overpriced. £5.65 a pint for Lost Lager is expensive
Fantastic place, was out for my birthday weekend and we were instantly made to feel welcome by front of house, Raz, who instantly offered my dog some treats and a bowl of water with ice cubes - talk about being pampered, i then picked a draft beer (which i was offered to sample first - nice touchbeer promptly delivered, which were very tasty. there needs to be more dog friendly places like this, who make you feel at home wether you have your pooch or not, credit to Raz once again for recommending drinks and offering us a great customer experience, we will be back <3
Always a great place to stop. Great choice for all tastes, todays choice, Dead Pony.
Huge selection of beers and a lovely atmosphere. Staff were friendly and very accommodating.
Friday night, 9pm in Newcastle. The ability to get a seat, good music and not drowning you out alongside a great selection of beers. Great place to hang out. Friendly staff as well, it makes all the difference.
The Brewdog Beer Newcastle serves one of the best brew beers in town with a lovely ambience. It is a great place to visit and have some pints with your friends and colleagues. The staff were good and friendly. The beers were just right for the price and good for the taste buds. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a beer with some good company. Would definitely recommend Elvis Juice & Tonys Hopoloney.
Great pub in Newcastle city centreFantastic human serving. Joseph . So professional , nice and genuine. Great person to be served by.Lovely atmosphereGood selectionDifferent to the Norm.Be back soon .Many thanks
Quaint little pub/bar in the heart of newcastle, good quality food and drinks with fun little pub quiz evenings. Would recommend
Popped in for beer and a lunch - great food that came quickly, and a small mix-up resolved immediately with a generous compensation gift. Friendly staff, great surroundings and grand drinks.
Went here with the beer school vouchers and had a fab time ☺️ Our server was lovely too but I didn’t get his name unfortunately! The quiz happened to be on too which was a bonus and that was really fun, highly recommend!
Me and my wife and friends booked s table at brewdog on Saturday 9th April. This was our first visit to the pub and we had a fantastic few hours there.the beer was superb and the customer service was excellent the bar staff were so friendly and helpful we will be certainly visiting the pub again.thanks again Mr m hale
Great beers, drinks can also be served in 1/3 pints and even more available to in cans from the fridge seating area.
Great beer.Great food.Great staff.Great atmosphereIf you want that extra star, fix the gents loos :-)
Ive been meaning to visit this bar since it opened and eventually got there yesterday. It has a boggling array of beers on offer, I was stood ages trying to decide - they do really good tasting glass selections if you want to sample a few at a time.It was well laid out inside with various types of seating with an upper level.I forgot to use my app, but as a shareholder you get money off your drink on top!I like how Brewdog are all for saving the planet too with their green carbon neutral approach.
Nice bar with good selection of Brewdogs own beers and some guest ales, although today it was rum! The 500 Cuts is very nice.
Cannot fault this place at all. Our pizzas were super fresh and tasty. The staff fab and are cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning. It is spotless. Well done team.
Well, the openminded "punk" brand of BrewDog really left a lot to be desired on our first ever visit to this establishment. My friend, wearing a yellow suit was refused entry as they do not allow fancy dress. When told that this was his normal attire the BrewDog employee rudely replied "I very much doubt that". So not only were we refused entry, my friend was belittled by the barmaid. Wont touch a drop of this corporate, close minded brand again.
Called in for a pizza and few beers. Very good service with staff happy to explain the different drinks. Loved trying the different beers and ciders. Will definitely visit again.
This place is great for Craft beer. Always got there beer on. Plus they have loads of gest beers on. Always something class on the board. Would definitely recommend you go. Doesnt have the personal touch or feel of some bars. But still great.
Really good experience as always. Quick service with the food and drinks. The currywurst pizza was very tasty.
Great Brewdog pub. Go to the two in Edinburgh regularly and this has the same standard of friendliness from staff and great beer Ive come to expect
Absolutely great place. Staff are very friendly. Although we waited 45 minutes for food, it was absolutely lovely. I will definitely be visiting again!
Quality beer, friendly staff and tasty food. Me and my family had a great time. The punky playlist was the best I ever remember experiencing in a bar too -- it really set the seal on this being something a bit special and different. We had an excellent overall experience and well be back. The brand should be proud of the folk in this branch. Theyre doing you proud.
Always a good choice of craft beers and ciders. Food is outstanding and served quickly. Covid-19 regulations were perfectly followed by a well trained & friendly group of staff.
I must admit I was dragged here by a BrewDog fan, I loved the beer choices (my IPA favorite is Punk). But the sourdough pizza is awesome too!
Time to hangout or chilling night I would recommend Brewdog.Craftbeer options always change so we have to come a lot to test the new one woo hoo...Size is also different depend on type of beer.Pub quiz /special event also happen frequently win a pint 🍺IPA bottle and can of beer softdrink are optionalIf you are hungry pizza is waiting for you!
Great value on a pizza and drinks deal. Atmosphere and service were great. Booking in advance helps
Really nice pub. Great beers and pizza. Definitely recommend
A nice little pub. My only little niggle is that it is rather dark when you sit upstairs, but other than, a really great place. Friendly staff (who enjoy a photo bomb 😁and great beers.
Me and my partner came her expecting a nice atmosphere with some cool games and reasonably priced snacksWhat we found was a rude bartender, overpriced cashews (£2.30and the most complex set of games Ive ever seen. Not even Stephen Hawkins could work out how to play these gamesWe got our drinks from a bar man that didnt greet my poor knowlage of beers with advice, just a snappy what do you want!Do not recommend ide rather drink my punk IPA at the quayside down the roadCheers
The most atmospheric of all the brewdogs Ive been too so far with a very friendly staff, great food, and incredible tasting drinks. I have a love hate relationship with craft drinks. I love that theyre great but hate when theyre sometimes only on for a very limited time (Im looking at you, northern monk milkshake ipabut its worth it for unique experiences. When the live music is on its a real treat/electric atmosphere and being surrounded by like minded individuals just adds to that. Cant recommend the place enough!
Dogs friendly pub the best craft beers in that area great choice of craft beers
Love it in this place. Proper beer. Can be a bit expensive but you for the price you certainly never miss out on quality and theres usually deals on.
I loved this place !!! If you like your ales and really good quality beer then this is a must! Loads of different brew dog beers to try and pretty good prices! The food prices are good as well ! Highly recommended!
We did the Groupon offer taster session, well worth the £20, we had a great night! Anna was really friendly and helpful, we learnt loads about the history of brewdog and how their various beers are made! We would definitely do it again, great laugh, and even got a lovely cheese board to go along with it! Cant complain at all! We even ended up having a pint after it and buying a new glass for at home, overall awesome night out!
Fantastic beer, great music, extremely relaxed, the staff are very friendly and know their beer. Try the Pizza too its delicious
Visited during the annual Collabfest weekend. Staff were friendly & always on hand to recommend beers. Great selection & defo heading back for more amazing craft beer
BrewDog Beers! Massive selection of different flavoured beers, it is unfortunate if you choose something you dont like. The bar staff seemed to have knowledge of a few of the beers, and allowed us to try a bit before we brought it. I really liked the decor and massive beer menu on the wall. Really cool.
It does great beers, theres no arguing, from brewdogs own eclectic range to guest beers/ales. The menu sounds decent and the pizzas looked nice although Ive never eaten here. The prices though leave a lot to be desired for some of the craft beers £8 for a pint!??! Really? How incredibly punk of them. Brewdog risks being accused of the worst sorts of capitalism if it carfies on down that path though. Generally a pretty relaxed atmosphere, decent tunes.
Superb like all brewdog bars. Bought our first growler here and kept coming back for refills of dead pony club. Friendly staff who are passionate about there product of the many fine ales.
Great bar in het hart of Newcastle. Come inside for a drink and a talk. Lots of craft beers on drafts and people know what they are selling. Superb bar!
Fantastic if your a brewdog fanBice decor and amazing jet black heart beer. 5 star for brewdog
My number 1 spot for a good beer! With enough selection to make you keep going back. Youll never have the same beer twice (unless you want to..). The staff are always friendly and engage in conversation with you. Live music on various nights so always has a brilliant atmosphere. Ive also ended up buying metal growlers to get my beer to take away and can get them refilled at a discounted price. My main bar for a night out in Newcastle!
