BrewDog Franklinton in Dublin

Feel really bad for the poor girl working behind the bar when there are 15 people waiting to put an order in. It’s been like this on multiple occasions. The scheduling manager needs to get to their act together. It’s a really poor and frustrating experience at no fault of the bartender left alone on a busy weekend.

Friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere. DOG FRIENDLY!!

I had a wonderful time at BrewDog. The food was fabulous and the drinks were awesome. Cant wait to visit again. I was able to bring my dogs.

I ate a delicious meal last night [9-9-2022] at BrewDog Franklinton [at 463 W. Town St. in the "Franklinton" neighborhood of Columbus].For the previous several months, I had been planning to attend an art exhibition opening last night, one block to the south, at The Vanderelli Room [at 218 McDowell St.]. However, the artist for that exhibition had not yet arrived when I had first arrived at that art gallery so I decided to eat first [at BrewDog Franklinton] and then to return after my meal to the art gallery.That section of the Franklinton neighborhood had been quite lively the entire time while I had been there because I had arrived during the monthly "Franklinton Friday" event [of which I have been aware for the past several years but had never before attended]. I had taken a COTA bus from a relatively quiet neighborhood of central Ohio so I had been astonished, as soon as I had gotten off my bus, by the great amount of activity in that neighborhood.My food choice last night at BrewDog Franklinton had been a Pork and Gouda Burger [pork and chorizo patty, smoked gouda, fried onions, and sundried tomato burger sauce]. I had also ordered fries [expecting that there would be an additional charge for the fries only to learn that all burgers that are served there are automatically served with fries].My food arrived perhaps ten minutes after I had ordered it. I had been expecting a longer wait, because BrewDog Franklinton had been so crowded and busy at that time, but that had not been the case.The one change that I would have recommended in terms of how my food had been served is that I would have preferred that the Pork and Gouda Burger would have been served on a "regular" plate instead of being served, on top of a piece of paper, on a metal tray.I quickly learned that I would be unable to use a serrated "steak knife" to cut my Pork and Gouda Burger into smaller pieces for easier eating without tearing the paper so I asked for a "regular" plate. I was given a white-painted circular metal tray with raised edges that fit my needs perfectly.The Pork and Gouda Burger had been particularly delicious. Over the years, I have eaten many cheeseburgers that have been made with ground beef and a slice of American cheese. The pork and chorizo meat had been a wonderful variation on that familiar-to-me food item; the Gouda cheese -- another wonderful variation on that theme -- had been a particular treat.Paying my bill had been different from the method of payment at any other restaurant where I have eaten. Several minutes before finishing my meal, I had noticed a small laminated QR code that has been permanently attached to my table. After waiting for one or two minutes for a "paper" bill to arrive, I decided to use my smartphone to scan the QR code that had been attached to my table [mostly to see what might happen]. My table number and my order immediately appeared on my smartphone; I was then able to pay my bill without ever seeing a paper receipt.If you are in the Franklinton neighborhood and are looking for some delicious food that will be prepared and served in a lively-but efficient environment, I strongly recommend BrewDog Franklinton.

We go to trivia here every week and have never had a bad experience! Servers are always great and food is tasty. A bit on the higher priced side, but worth it.

Hipster heaven. Franklinton is a damn mess with construction and parking sucks but the bar is welcoming and very laid back. Not sure what is punk about it at all but the gigantic pretzel was good and lots of interesting beers.

Excellent! Decorum. Lots of outdoor seating both on the street and on the rooftop.What selection of home brew ranging from pilsners only up to sours stouts and IPAs. Reasonable prices average for the local market.We had Discovery pilsner, pretty solid light citrusy notes. Good body smooth. Would recommend for post call debauchery or a nice evening out to overlook Columbus in a seeder part of town.

Good beer, pretzel was only okay. Loved the rooftop patio! JET black Stout is a delicious vanilla nitro Stout. Happy Happy Joy Joy was just like n almond joy but TOO sweet for me to drink a whole glass.

Great selection of beers and their Patriot Burger was excellent.

While I can understand the shortage of help when I go to a restaurant that charges $19.95 for a hamburger I expected much more than I got. You place your order at the bar and an hour and a half later you receive it. Needless to say I will not be back!

One of the best views of the Columbus skyline is from BrewDog Franklintons rooftop patio! Plus, great beer and food, a friendly staff, and several other breweries, bars, and restaurants in taking distance all set in the historic first colonizer settlement in what would become greater Columbus? What more are you looking for?!

Cool place good beer and service. IMO food is just ok and overpriced.

Sat upstairs and ordered a dinner 45 minutes before the kitchen closed. Nice views, bartender was wonderful.Food service: They served us regular burgers insisting they were beyond meat (they weren’t/bartender confirmed), with cheese (ordered without cheese), and nothing else on the burger. When we asked the food runner about it, she said the kitchen would be closing in 5-10 minutes and they wouldn’t be able to remake it. We left hungry, with most kitchens closed at this point, and extremely disappointed with BrewDog. Great views only go so far.

Lovely atmosphere with a really cool rooftop bar. The beer selection is always great with a good variety and tasty options.I would completely avoid eating here because youre heavily overpaying for what you get.

If I could give less stars I would. We came to this restaurant tonight because my brother has Celiac’s disease and they advertise non-gluten menu items. Long story short he had a significant reaction tonight and was hospitalized as a direct result of either cross contamination or blatant disregard for his life or death dietary restrictions. The waitress stated the food was gluten free although now I can confidently say they were not.We will not be back.

First time at BrewDog Franklinton of course the beer is good, but the food is over price Big time. I had a Buffalo chicken sandwich $19** Wow, it’s not Worth it. I had a Buffalo Chicken sandwich at another Brewy in the South West of town, it was BIGGER FOR $$I wish I would get the burger, it was bigger than the chicken 👎🏼

I have been here before and had a great experience. But on this visit it not so much. They seemed very understaffed and our waitress was over worked. She also rolled her eyes when our orders came out and they were not correct. The sad part was, it was not all that busy. Not sure if we will return.

Service was extremely slow on a Sunday. They got two stars for being dog friendly, but the slow service from our waitress was less than desired. It took over 1 hour to get our food.

If your planning on having a Dogpawty here try not to get your hopes up. We had a reservation (booked a month in advancefor a Dogpawty. When we arrived we were told our reservation was on the top floor which was fine , our dogs are all good with stairs but when we found our table there were people sitting at one half of it even though there was a reserved sign on the table. We sat at the half that wasn’t empty for a moment but our dogs were cramped under the table and with the others seeming to have no intention to move, we found a staff member to address the situation. We explained the situation and expressed if we couldn’t get a full table we weren’t going to be staying because it was too stressful on us and our pack. The employee did seem sympathetic and did try finding us another table but we were eventually told that there was a group that looked like they were leaving soon. Again we had a month in advance reservation. I don’t know why we would be expected to wait for someone to leave when that’s the point of a reservation. I don’t know why the people sitting at a table with a reserved sign weren’t addressed. Again our dogs and us were already stressed we were not going to waste more time and our money there. We were still given the cupcakes they had prepared and weren’t charged which is one of the reasons I’m giving two stars instead of one. As this was something we had planned and were excited for , even left a museum we were visiting early to make sure we could go get our dogs ready and make our reservation time, we were extremely disappointed.

Plenty of outdoor seating, beers are constantly rotating. Dog friendly, they even provide water bowls for your furry friends. They do have a kitchen which is top notch for being a brewery. Close to the walking paths and downtown Columbus. It can get busy on a Friday night, but you won’t have to wait too long for a seat. At least 20 beers on tap and a well versed variety of beer

The service was great until we heard the manager Lea talk so poorly to her staff. Everyone is so over worked and Lea felt like she had the right to talk to her staff in such a bad way. If she is a representative of brewdog... I dont think I can support that

Decent atmosphere. I like the industrial look of the building and the people were nice. Very good selection of beer and food. I come here solely for the Mexican street corn which has now left the menu and was pretty disappointed about that and the sole reason for my lower review also food is more on the expensive side. Close to 30$ for a burger, fry and root beer.

Food is way too overpriced and it looks like it comes out of a microwave. We got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and couldn’t even eat it. The chicken was gray and rubbery.

Beers were okay and the space is interesting but the quality of service and the ability of the kitchen to keep up with the volume of customers they accommodate is really disappointing. There was a festival across the street but Brewdog didn’t seem especially crowded.Expect a significant wait if they’re at all busy and even then there were errors in our case. We ultimately left without our food and the staff wasn’t apologetic at all - in fact the manager would not speak to us. After some effort we did manage to have the food items taken off our check.

I stopped by for some food and a drink. I ended up with the meal deal on the back of the menu (I had the cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, Hazy Jane, beer popsiclewhich was good food, especially the fries! The popsicle was messy, but delicious. Ill be back!

Great rooftop and spacious ambiance make for a perfect hang out with friends. We reserved a table Saturday night and were seated promptly.

Absolutely love BrewDog, their locations are all so unique and fun. Dog friendly! Friendly staff! Delicious beer & food!

On a nice day, their outdoor spaces are amazing for drinks or food. Service was good and our group enjoyed our food and brews. We already planned another date to come again!

The service at this location rivals the worst Ive received just about anywhere. Because of the ability to bring our dog and the proximity to us, we continue to return and hope for better, but at least the poor service is CONSISTENT.They offer "promotions" that none of the staff know about and even if they know about it, they will still try to charge you original price until you notice (Tuesday $6 burger special, all-you-can-eat (AYCEwings night, previous nightly specials). You wont be able to reach them by phone to make a reservation or check details, so dont try (it rings to several locations anyway). If you happen to snag a staff member to ask a question (like how to make a reservation for AYCE wing night, by when you have to make a reservation, if there are still spots available, etc.you will get a different answer from every person you speak to and none will be accountable for what they told you.If you want to go sit somewhere with a bunch of people who arent watching their dogs and pay premium beer you can get elsewhere for $1-2 less, by all means visit. Dont get the AYCE wings, as you wont be able to get refills because you wont find a staff member with time to place another order on your behalf.

The chicken sandwich was okay. Bread didnt hold it together so it fell apart. The waitress wasnt the best. She checked on us maybe twice and thats it

Great experience here. We were staying in town for a night and stopped here for dinner and a beer. We came on a Monday and the Vegan menu items were BOGO and they were both delicious, but the cauliflower burger was hands down one of the best plant based meals I’ve ever had. The rooftop patio was breezy and packed and very dog friendly which was another perk. Next time we’re in town we will be stopping in again.

Nothing short of an exceptional experience with BrewDog Franklinton. I have had my birthday party, graduation party, and significant others graduation party here due to the outstanding job and custom service. They personally called me and watched the weather to make sure we still had a spot to celebrate this past weekend. I was able to bring a cake in and balloons. I have been on the rooftop and inside for reservations and it THE BEST location, service, and environment to plan a special event. I cant say thank you enough!! Oh, and besides the space and service the beer is damn good.

Super super great patio and patio service! Exploring the area and this has to be a Franklinton stop for you now! Cannot stop raving about their vegetarian options! Look at this platter?!?!?!

I’ve been to four BrewDog locations (London, Barcelona, Franklinton, and Canalso I’m starting to get a good feel for this “chain.” In my humble opinion, all of the beers are good but leave something to be desired, food is great (at all of them), and, most importantly, the service is AMAZING. Every location had a very knowledgeable staff and we never felt like a burden or rushed. I will continue to visit any and all BrewDog locations, when possible, because of the customer service. Great service will make-up for just about anything.

Very chill spacious place that serves great food and lots of beer choices which currently is mostly IPA’s and sours. My wife was very happy about the sour beer selection. The vegetarian sweet potato burger was amazing and the cauliflower buffalo wings tasted like the real thing... and I’m not a vegetarian! I love how this place has an outdoor upper deck area to hang out and watch the sunset. We were easily able to get to this location via scooters from downtown.The only gripe we had was it can get a little busy and our server one time forgot my beer, gave me blue cheese instead of ranch, the street corn was extremely salty and we got the regular fries when we ordered sweet potato fries but she corrected it and let us keep the regular fries which made up for it. All in all we had a great time here with the beautiful modern chill vibe, tasty food and friendly service!

The rooftop area is sensational. With giant beanbags, and blankets available for chilly evenings, its a great place to hang out for a few drinks. The sizeable interior is also fantastic.

Awesome place to hang out! Theres a variety of seating areas to choose from. They have sidewalk area, or a large bar area downstairs. Dont forget to go upstairs and check out the second level area too. Grab a brew and a board game and youre set. They have some food options too if you got the craving.

Great spot to chill and get out of the sun, their beers are diverse and they also have a great selection of food items. The staff was super helpful when it came to questions about their beers and other locations.

Another great BrewDog bar - the space is absolutely beautiful with multiple outdoor spaces including a rooftop bar. The beer is excellent and the food is very good. Everyone there is friendly and helpful.

Its my first visit here at the brewdog bar and restaurant in franklinton. I had there Burger which is very good by one of the better ones Ive had in awhile and a long time. their beer is always good specially when it comes directly from their brewery highly recommend that you take a gander at this brewery / restaurant have a very limited food menu but like I always say if youre going to do something plain and simple do it well and thats what they do here at the brewdog

Food is very good especially for Franklinton have had everything on the menu. Pork sandwhich and burgers top. Like most of their beers. Building is really well done and roof deck should be amazing in warm months. Food and roof deck really sets them apart from neighbors.

The staff told us about the many different beers available (BrewDog and non-BrewDogto help us choose the right one based on our tastes. The food was delicious - highly recommend the mac and cheese. The bar was very big with lots of seating. I would like to go back in the warmer months to check-out the rooftop patio! It looked very nice.

Great staff, great food, amazing beer. Went here with a relatively large group. That included one toddler and a vegan. Everyones food was great.The beer was obviously great. I had the albino squid assassin, and their imperial IPA. Both were great, but other beers on the table were good too. They also had cider for the non beer drinkers.The wait staff was great as was the host. Great with the kids and picky eaters.

Beautiful building, and the roof top patio is great. Dogs are allowed out on the ground level, so thats nice as long as they all get along. The setup is a touch unique, which caused a bit of confusion in regards to ordering food, but the bartender on staff was nice enough to help me, and offered me a sample of a beer that caught my eye. All in all, I spent about 20 dollars on a burger (w/friesand a beer, which seems a bit high to me, but this isnt about prices. In the end the food and beer were good, and if youre looking to invest in the business, they have some optional reading ready to go while you wait.

We came here for the second half of the OSU game and it was alive and well! They served plenty of original beers as well as guest drafts. The food was absolutely delicious! Rooftop bar was perfect for our night cap however there was only one TV upstairs for the entire rooftop. Great area and location!!

So glad they opened a taproom closer to home. Great beer and food. Easy parking, open air indoor area and a rooftop patio. Definitely a must if you are in the area. You have to try the cauliflower wings! Delicious
