I recently had dinner at Brennivins with some friends. It wasnt my first experience there, and the food has been great each time. Our server was playful and made the experience even better. She had no problem poking fun at one of the guys for "eating his toppings first" lol. But the food, man, the food. The wings were great, but the star of the show was the jumbo Brennivans pizza. The toppings and cheese were incredible. The star of the show however was the crust. Im Italian, and have eaten so much pizza. This by far, is the best crust and pizza I have eaten. Thank you Brennivans staff.

Ordered a Hawaiian and Buffalo chicken pizza. Wait time seemed a little long for takeout, 40 min, but maybe not for resort town pizza, I’m not sure. Flavours were good, crust was nice, crispy, handmade for sure! Staff was friendly when I arrived for pick up and we also purchased a gift certificate for a local friend. I would like to try dine in sometime, I feel the bottom crust was a little soggy after getting to our destination.

Everything was great! The interior, the staff, the food. Would recommend to anyone visiting Gimli

This place has the best pizza that I have ever had. Service is great!! Just remember good things come to those who wait. Lots of hard working and friendly staff!!! We dined here twice during our trip to Gimli and will visit here again the next time we are in Gimli!

Had all the foods I loved and everything I had was quite good. Reccomend this place.

Highlight is the pizza crust having a good crisp that you dont get from big box pizza makers.

My boyfriend, our other friend and I decided to come in for a late night snack around 11:00. Our food came fast and it was delicious. We didn’t feel rushed at all, our waitress was extremely nice & very easy to talk to. She was on the ball for drink refills! The playlist they had playing was also filled with bangers. It made for a great spontaneous night out.Would definitely come again! :)

On my second visit I had a small Scillian pizza and it was excellent. Food was served hot, the bell peppers on the pizza were perfect and the cheese was stringy and melted as it should be. Service was fast and attentive. I can see why most times when I go by there are folks eating here.

Have been multiple times and we are not impressed.Pizza to us was not great, pasta was very poor (similar to Sidekicks instant packaged noodles), etc.. More importantly, it was expensive for the quality of food.For us, the only thing worth it on the menu is the appetizers! They tasted good and were a fair price.In our opinion, only worth going for the appetizers and especially the appetizer specials!3 stars for the above and the fact that they are one of the only businesses in Gimli that stay open fairly late! Hugely important!For pizza in Gimli go to Spero’s Pizza right close by to Brennivins- it is INCREDIBLE!

Pizza was incredible, spinach dip is awesome and very addicting. Really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere with the warm neon and Christmas decor in the middle of blowing snow outside. Worth the drive in from Winnipeg!

Stuff is nice BUT Never ordering there again.This place is overrated. Their pizza is overloaded with cheese (like really ? where is the meat?.

I had to sit outside because it was busy. They warned me about lots of flies (true), but immediately brought me a takeout container for my salad to keep the flies off of it while I had my wings, which was very thoughtful. The food was really good as usual, and the service friendly and excellent.

Pizza is excellent. The all you can eat buffet on Thursdays is exceptional and a wide variety of choices including ribs. The restaurant is small and gets full quick. Pizza for every taste. Great menu. I say that Brwnnivins Pizza is better than Europa but thats a personal choice. Friendly staff who make you feel comfortable to be there.

This is one of the places I look forward to when we go to Gimli. Our last visit did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the Za was “wow” worthy. Our son loved the sauce of his cheese pizza.

Food was really great! Staff were friendly!Seafood pizza was flavourful with a lot of shrimps and crab. Spaghettis top was so cheesy. Calamari was tender and delicious. Poutine was really good.

Its too bad I can only give 5 stars, because they deserve more! So good, we went back the next night! Their greek salad with chicken (mediumwas fresh, flavourful and enough to feed 2 people. Baked spaghetti with meatballs and pizzas were also amazing. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Great job Brennivins!

The smells at Brennivins are those of a proper pizza place! Calamari was cooked perfectly, and it came with tasty tzatziki and creamy sweet chili sauces. Seafood Hus Pizza was delicious with lots of shrimp, big chunks of imitation crab, and garlic butter. Spicy Chicken Hus Pizza was flavourful and had a good amount of chicken, however, it wasnt spicy like we were hoping and as a Szechuan sauce would suggest. Thanks for the fast, friendly service!

Ordered a Greek pizza to go that was above expectations (not that my expectations were low, they were not). I requested no cucumber plus substitution of regular onion with red onion.Absolutely delicious!!! I certainly recommend this place for pizza.

Omg the Thursday night buffets are my favorite! Can’t wait until the are back. Food is delicious some of my favs are the Hawaiian pizza, ginger or hot wings, chicken burgers and spinach dip with corn tortilla chips. Try it, you won’t be disappointed ⭐️

It looks like the negative reviews left for this place in the last month+ are true.We decided to check the place out today. Walked in to order two pizzas, and was told it would be a 50 minute wait.Came back after waiting, and they said it would take another 30 mins.Waited again, and came to check on the status of our order. Again, we were told that they "didnt know how long it would take"On a Friday evening when it didnt seem busy, this is unacceptable! It shouldnt take an hour a half (or more!to get some dinner.We ended up going down the street for fish and chips instead. Should have done that in the first place.

Dont bother. This place has really gone downhill, we waited over 2 hours for our food to be delivered, they said it would take 1 hour.We tried calling for that hour but always a busy signal, so I drive to the restaurant and they tell me they leave the phone off the hook. How about phone your customers back saying its going to be late, not make them wait an extra hour and no way to contact, I would have came an hour sooner and picked it up myself. Very unprofessional...One girl was rude and cranky at me, and didnt know anything about my order at first, like this is how you run a restaurant? No one knows anything? Great.Food was good but save yourself the headaches and hassle and order food from a different place, its just not worth it.Never ordering from them again.

Food is average and never worth the long wait times. Service I have to say is atrocious - rude unattentive servers. We were sat close to the counters and could hear servers making fun of customers and complaining about the mismanagement of the place. Bad attitude. The place is small and there’s not a lot of options for sitdown pizza in the area so you’ll be fooled to think the place is packed for all the right reasons but you’ll be disappointed.

This place is overcrowded and much too overrated. If you have traveled anywhere outside of Canada, you’ll know the pizza here is subpar. The wait staff is incompetent, and particularly so in managing peak hours and large groups. Think the good reviews are outdated.

I dont usually like to leave bad reviews, but literally everything we ordered was bland, mediocre, or outright strange and a bit unpleasant. Food arrived hot, but took a very long time to arrive considering the town is very small and the food seems like someone made it in a microwave from frozen lmao. It cost about 100$ plus tip, and left everyone disappointed and mildly confused that this is the only place open past 8 in gimli 😂 a little seasoning honestly would have saved the entire experience lmao

Amazing as always. Pizza is full of toppings. Crust however you like it. Prices are very reasonable. Staff are friendly and hard working. Clean inside. We had the spinach dip and pita as an appetizer before these pizzas (see pics)...oh man is it good. Everyone was ordering the dip so obviously its not a secret. Downtown Gimli. Smaller restaurant, go check it out. Well worth any short wait for a table.

Ive been here 4 or 5 times. The pizza is really good and reasonably priced. But the SERVICE is not good. There are very few tables inside and even fewer when the patios closed. But you have to wave the server down to get your water glass filled, last time I was here all 4 of our glasses were empty dropped the pizza off and disappeared to talk with the other two servers at the register. The first time I was went to this restaurant I just finished sailing with my friend so I was sunburnt and kind of smelly (no more than everyone else who sails or boats in gimliI could hear the servers talking about us. They were not kind things.

Pizza is varied and creative. Good crust, good sauces, nice staff. It was kind of hard waiting too close to an hour for two pizzas. The tastes will probably have us returning, and hopefully, a better outcome.

Excellent service, got seated without any long delays. The food is amazing. Definitely recommend you give this place a stop if youre in Gimli.

Got the Alfredo pizza and it was decent at best. Literally looked (and tasted likeit was an old pizza and they just threw broccoli on top. We also got wings and they were decent as well. Nothing special and wouldnt go out of my way to go here again.

Some of the best pizza in Manitoba in my opinion. They use high quality mozzarella, so the pizza is still amazing the next day. Ill often order a second one to take back to the city for the following day or two. Its a small place which gets very busy in the summer, so be sure to arrive when they open to get your name on a list for a table. Typically no reservations taken.

Excellent seafood pizza. Prompt, friendly service. Its a simple one room place. A little chilly in February. We were there on a Friday evening at about 6 and it was busy. Got the last table, then it cleared out. But a short time later was almost full again.

What a pizza! I have found the best pizza places the past few months. This place, top 5 I have had in the world, ya the world. The topping, cheese, super good! Served at the perfect temperature as well.Service was very good. Waitress we had was on the move looking after customers.Cosy little place, highly recommend.

Dined here, June 3rd, just before seeing a local play. The restaurant was full, so we ate on the patio. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable, about our questions on certain menu items, as one of us has a fish and peanut allergy. The starters came amazingly fast, very hot! All the rest of the food came out quickly, considering how busy the restaurant was inside. All was delicious and our server was very attentive. Even though we were outside, we never felt ignored at all! We will be back again, this summer!
