Well-known waterfront hub featuring modest eateries & tourist shops, plus some historic sites.
Very nice but small.
Came here for the 2022 Blackberry Festival and had a good time on a gorgeous day. Its like a large farmers market on the waterfront with some extra festivities. Downtown parking is pricey for events but otherwise fairly plentiful and cheap (cheaper and easier with the phone app.)Olympic Otter
Super great just need more ppl with mask
Had a great time with family!!
There were signs posted everywhere about NO DOGS allowed at the Blackberry Festival and all I saw was dogs. Where were the people checking this?? These were not guide dogs or therapy dogs. These dogs were trying to get food off a gentlemans lap who was in a wheelchair lap. There were dogs fighting I almost got bit twice just walking. And I left earlier then I would have because of it!! Dont get me wrong I love dogs but well behaved dogs. Please if your posting signs enforced them too many children and adults shouldnt have to worry about getting bit!!
Pleasant little boardwalk along the sound - coffee shops near/multiple restaurants and great view of marina. Nice water parks very close
Visited during the blackberry festival. A lot going on, live hair metal band, tons of good vendors, really liked it here
Cool place to look at the marina and at the end is a warship that is open for tours. There are sometimes festivals, such as the blackberry festival in September
I wouldnt call it a "boardwalk" so much as a marina and ferry access walkway. With the exception of some temporary Sat night events in the summer there is nothing boardwalky or festive about the place.
Beautiful and historical. A great place to eat your lunch after purchasing from Kamaaina Grill. Watch out for seagulls!
A wonderful Marina with Anthonys Restaurant, parking, and scheduled festivities on the Plaza.
If there is an event on the boardwalk there are typically good food trucks and a decent band to listen to.
Very beautiful place, love the water or fountain park.
Nice big area with lots of things to look at and places to walk. If you play Pokemon, its a great place for that. Lots of gyms and stops.
This was an amazing adventure. Lived in the area when I was a kid. So much history.
Beautiful place. Not too busy for a Sunday afternoon. Boardwalk is nice, but short. You can get you on part of the dock as well. Saw a big fat seal swimming around and watched the ferries. Nice area with plenty of choices for snacks or a meal
I had a horrible experience with Puget Law firm this month . I had a DV incident this month , I paid them 8500$ up front. The incident happened on 8/31/21 and on 9/14 nothing had been filed. I wanted a protection Order . I spoke to the lawyer for maybe 15 minutes in total. Every time I called no one knew what was going on and I kept getting : oh, she’s in depositions, she’s in court, she’ll call u back . Oh she will work on your case this weekend, she’ll call you back . Terrible customer service with no thought for me. They took my $ right away! Now, I’m trying to get it back and the abuser is still in my home. Don’t hire these people, please.
Enjoyed all the history and I was there at the Blackberry Festival, its was a great layout some food was just a little too expensive but I 😉😉😉
Great spot for a look at the marina and Seattle ferry. Attractions in include tours of a US Navy destroyer docked at the end of the boardwalk.
Went for elephant ear during the blackberry festival. Whilst not the same as the berry dairy days of my Skagit Valley (home county15/10 DELICIOUS as HECK! Also, unintentionally romantic & perfect walking around date space for a 9 mos pregnant mum & dad to be
Awesome place to go, much to do, and the Public boat dock is super nice. Love to come and see the seals down here.
Nothing happening there. Just a port. Clean though and there is a Military Marine Museum. Foot ferry was Great!!!
A bit dark at 0415 in the morning, but it is a great place to visit and wonder the boardwalk/ waterfront
Beautiful sculptures at Fountain Park
The employees here work hard to keep this place clean and makes your overnight stay or strolling the dock experience a good one.
Great spot! Very scenic!
Might be a good place to try out fishing.
Nice place to spend a few hrs just killing time
Nice place to go for a walk and enjoy the view. There is public access to the breakwater during the day for fishing/recreation. Easy access, right next to the ferry.
Fabolous place to be there and enjoy for many reasons.
They have really done a nice job developing the waterfront area in Bremerton. They hold the BlackBerry festival every Labor Day there. It is also a nice place to have lunch, visit or just watched the boats.
We went for the Blackberry Festival and happened across an art festival as well! It was a good, bright, sunny day. The wind is strong down here so I would suggest bringing a lite jacket for this time of year (early September). Its also on a steep incline so wear comfortable shoes and clothes if you plan on walking a lot. But it was clean and quaint. Cant wait to go again and explore the local shops at leisure. #MilitaryWild #MilitarywildWA #AutismFam #PawsForHadrian
BlackBerry Festival and Summer Music always great on the Boardwalk.
Spent some time down at the marina tonight on my brothers boat. It was so peaceful & beautiful. My brother came over from the Kirkland Marina &was very impressed with everything about our Bremerton Marina.
Located just steps away from the ferry. Beautifully maintained and the marina is surrounded by the beautiful boats/yachts. Its is amazing the wooden broadwalk is filled with ocean marine plants.
Wow good people, good beer, good food!!!
Great sight seeing and good for all ages in the group!
Whether youre simply wanting a beautiful stroll, or there is a festival, the Bremerton Boardwalk is a fantastic destination for people of all ages. There are huge fountains to look at, and some to cool off in, for kids and for the young at heart.Youll be able to buy ice cream treats, lunch or dinner there.Youll be able to catch a ferry to Port Orchard or Seattle.Bus service will take you anywhere you want to go in town.
Nice place to walk around and check out the waterfront while waiting on a ferry to Seattle. Theres dining, snacks, the U.S.S. TURNER museum, people watching, etc. nearby, or you can go to the passenger terminal and relax.
Its a fun place to while away an hour or so on a nice day. You can take a tour of the USS Turner Joy, fish off the breakwater, and hit up one of many local eateries nearby. Parts of it are under construcion, so access is limited to the marina and ferry areas for now.
Good sight seeing, two museums nearby, fishing, crabbing from the dock, decent restaurants within walking distances, along with the car ferry.
Super cold that day! Beautiful walk around, short though. We did run into a homeless person, whowas all there mentally. She approached us trying to give our youngest daughter water. It was kind of scary. We also see angry homeless people yelling here every time we come. We just keep our distance. There is a yummy icecream place here, affordable.
Picturesque!! Really it is..theres also a cool navy ship and naval museum at the end..Not sure the hours though since it never seems open when I go there..Maybe its a summer thing. But the Bremerton Yacht club and ferry docks are all very well kept and very pretty..I love the Yacht club Bar which is just a little but nice shack blasting classic rock around late afternoon early evening.
Great views and public fishing too!
On a nice day, its wonderful. Theres a lot of options for food and beverages. Theres public access to the marina, so you can take a walk along the water.
Beautiful board walk and Marina. Came for Pride and Brew Festival. Had a wonderful time. We came from Aberdeen and were enchanted with this gem of a community. Definitely coming back.
Really enjoy walking my dogs on the boardwalk. They get to meet so many people, animals, and see the wildlife. They have many beautiful fountains. The flowers blooming, sunsets and interesting boats thats what keeps me coming back.
This is a very small boardwalk, but its a nice peaceful little place. You can walk along the boardwalk or go down to where people have their boats stored and just look at fun and unique boats. There is shopping and food and a fountain. They have also installed a few beautiful art installations for photos ops, or just your viewing pleasure. If you stand on the docks you can see lots of wild life in the water. We saw various fish, birds and a sea lion type animal. The birds can be gross with their potty and will potty on you, so be weary of the birds.
Oh what youll find on the Bremerton Boardwalk! A Historic Vietnam era Naval Ship Museum; The Turner Joy and gift shop. Historic boats, yachts and ships moored in the marina. Washington State Ferries, Mount Rainier, take the foot ferry over to Port Orchard.Summer Festivals are endless; Harbor Fest, Trawler Fest 2017, Rock the Dock, Blackberry Festival. And its the best place to watch fireworks on the fourth of July.
Great place to walk around when its warm and sunny. There are a few places nearby to get a bite to eat and drink, but not many. Beautiful fountians in the spring-fall.
