Breeze Bakery & Provision - Bakery in Lumding Railway Colony, India
Good bread. Good coffee. Nice atmosphere. It can get a bit loud, but it’s a popular place. Deal with it.
This cafe is such a gem! The sweet treats are delicious and the second floor terrace was the perfect setting for after dinner tea, sweets and conversation. I will definitely be adding this cafe to my list of regular haunts.
Decided to get a slice of cake from here after trying them for the first time on someones birthday. The cake slice I bought was not fresh and it seemed like it has just been sitting out all day. Waste of $7.16
Great selection of bakery items and gelato. I love the entire shop, especially the rooftop! I got the mocha cake and banana cream gelato and both were delicious. This is a great spot with lots of seating and it stays open pretty late which is a huge plus!
Love getting the delicious bread from Breeze! Not only do they have amazing coffee and bread options, it’s a good place to do work out of. Love the vibes and highly recommend if you’re around Annandale! Also, DRINK SUSOSU WATER!
Beautifully made pastries and desserts. Customer service is wonderful. Fast service for how busy they are.
I love this bakery . Breeze offers true French pastries but also all kind of Korean novelties. And their gelato is absolutely delicious .Unfortunately last Saturday, deciding to go out , since spending a month in a hospital, and walking with a cane ,just up the ramp near the entrance of the bakery, had a horrible experience. A young man with a gray hood, that was standing with his friend just at the beginning of the ramp, violently grabbed my handbag from under my arm , and as I turned, saw him running away with it . The police were called and did a magnificent job in trying to pursue the criminal , since they also have video of the incident . The detective gave me a lot of information and said they were doing everything possible to apprehend him .And that he would call me in a few days . The owner of the bakery was very gracious and accommodating . In that bag , I had things that. If used and cashed , could have ruined me . Including checks , credit cards , medical insurance cards and my phone . The owner lent my her phone and the police found numbers for me to call to cancel my cards and checks . . I live in the Wedgewood apartments, which are 3 minutes away and with Breeze are also in a very safe areas. I was so shaken that something like that could happen at 3 o’clock in the afternoon . Still in disbelief and bewildered . That goes to show you. , that we must be always vigilant of our surroundings , because even the unexpected can always happen . Of course I will continue to visit Breeze , where I always take my grandchildren when home from college . The place is fantastic , and I am sorry that so many people had to witness that .
Nice stuff. Their cake is great except a little bit pricey. Anyway, we always buying birthday cake from them.
Good cafe for pastries, cakes, lunch, and specialty lattes and bubble tea! There is often a bit of a crowd on Sunday afternoons, but service is always quick, and there is plenty of seating with tables and chairs on both the main level and upstairs. Parking can be tricky.
Really nice place. I love the bakery and service is great but the music is too loud. It is not really good place to have comfortable coffee talk or study or just focus on something. If the music was little bit quieter It would be better.
The closest thing to an 85 Degrees in the DMV! I got the curry bread and the plum herbal tea. The curry bread was delicious! I asked them to heat it up for me as I was eating it at the restaurant. The herbal plum tea was... Not my cup of tea lol. It tasted like a 7/11 coke slurpee that had completely melted and was heated up with a hint of tea aftertaste.I came here to work though, and its a solid place to study. Not too many outlets, but plenty of seatings both upstairs and downstairs along with free wifi. Its kind of out of the way for me, but if youre looking for places in the area, this is a great option.
I love breezes atmosphere, very cool, friendly and welcoming!!Thier variety of pastries as well as drinks makes it a great place to enjoy a quality time with friends.I loved how their decorated the open space in the upper level, cant wait to enjoy it during spring and summer 👌
Love this place. It’s probably because I love sweets, and I most definitely love Asian desserts. I ordered the injeolmi bingsu. I now have a favorite Korean dessert.
WHERE to begin - I wish I could give them 1000 stars! Breeze is the greatest bakery in the area - weve been going there with my whole family since they opened and always love it. Breeze (with the wonderful assistance of Jakemade and delivered (and decorated beautifully with flowersour wedding cake for our wedding this weekend, and it was SO BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS! All of our guests absolutely loved the cake because it was beautiful, fresh, fluffy, and delightful. Everyone said it was the best wedding cake theyve ever had - not overly sweet, light and fresh. The green tea flavor was amazing, as with chocolate and vanilla. Thank you Jake (he was seriously amazing and so accommodating and helpful and kind, and so great with my parents!and Breeze for a beautiful wedding cake experience - we cant thank you enough!! Lifelong customers right here!
They called to verify the writing on the cake was correct, the cake was ready when needed, it was beautiful, and my aunt loved it. She said it was fresh and delicious. Thank you for making her birthday special!
Had Thai tea, taste was subtle yet sweet. It tasted as if the heavens met the earth. Where the sun meets the sky, in effect it tastes like the horizon, would definitely recommend.
Great selection and services. Just know that it will be rather bust regardless of time of day. The dine in scene is also nice due to the rooftop Cafe.
I love korea bakery.. this is the third korea bakery I visited so far. The cream buns which I had .. the scent was pleasant as you can really smell it . But I dont know whether can the buns can make it a little softer . Hadnt try the rest which I brought ... but the cakes I already fell for the mango and strawberry ones
I love their cakes, but popular selections will run out quickly so it’s best to come early. Have a very nice seating area upstairs as well.
This is a Korean themed bakery and I order my birthday cake from this place. The cake was good but the cream at the was okayish
Every time I go to Breeze, I get bad customer service.. ordered yogurt bingsoo - waited 15 mins. When I informed the employee at the cashier (spoke in Korean), she said, “just WAit, please.” OK…… 15 mins is a lifetime when ur waiting for desert with 3 & 4 yr olds. I also think they are overpriced and their breads aren’t as tasty. All their booths/chairs on the first floor had tears. With the money they are making, they should consider replacing them. I prefer to go to Shilla but I get how Breeze is doing so well it’s very conveniently located right off of 495
Nice placeVery crowdedVery attractive to the eye baked items, and delicious optionsPlenty of places (they have two levels), I set down stairs and it was crowded and noisyThe moca cake was greatI tried the yogurt bingsow and was disappointed because I thought the whole bottom of the bowl is fruit but it was just a thin layer.I visited them Sunday night and the shelves were almost empty.
Not much more I can describe that hasnt been said by other 4-5 star posts. The desserts, pastries, baked desserts are really really good. Drinks are great. I find the seating areas to be the best feature about this cafe that no other asian dessert places can offer actually (with its 2nd floor indoor and outdoor laissez-faire sit-down arrangement).Pleasantly surprised (see picsthat some desserts comes with the nice thick glassware containers they are made-in .... and at a reasonably good price too. The outside cute box packaging makes this a great place to go for dessert gifts too. There is no pretentiousness to any aspects of this place and its open late, even on a Sunday. Bravo, this place deserves more than 5 stars.
Good ambiance and variety of food. I got a vanilla mango jelly cake and a red velvet cup cake. Both are expensive at their price and i rate this as 2 out of 5 for the entire taste and texture.
Nice bakery. Some items are really good and others taste really bad. There is a nice selection of croissants and bingsoo is yum and latte made less sweet is my favorite. Iced peach tea is wayyy too sweet and strawberry cupcake taste like nesquick and it’s smell made my stomach turn and just avoid the cupcakes overall. Hate that they close early now esp on the weekends and completely stop making drinks at ten. I really enjoyed coming here as a late night spot.
My husband and I come here somewhat regularly, and have never had a bad experience. Everything has always been absolutely delicious. Also, we just had our wedding cake done through them, which was absolutely incredible. It was so good that guests had multiple slices and weve gotten so many compliments on how amazing all three flavors we chose were (matcha, strawberry, and vanilla). Strawberry was the crowd favorite but all three were perfect.Customer service was also great through the entire process, everyone was so wonderful to work with.
Weve lived near here for almost a year and are kicking ourselves for not coming sooner. All the pastries are SO fresh and flavorful and the staff are very friendly. Id say you need to get here a little earlier (8-9amfor the pastries to be at their freshest, but it looks like they have delicious food, coffee, and smoothies all day. I was upset when we moved away from a German bakery I used to like but, no more! Cant wait to try some more!
This place is excellent. I’m so amazed by the various choices of pastries!! I had a pumpkin roll cake; it’s so chunky, and once I took a bite, I was on the roller coaster ride that goes into the pumpkin puree magma🥹 And the atmosphere is so good 🌟 downstairs is somewhat noisy and upstairs is more quiet and peaceful.
Cute and spacious Korean bakery & Cafe with plenty of seating on 2 levels, including their 2nd level balcony (during warmer seasons). Lots of fresh baked goods daily to choose from, open early mornings until late nights (7am-12am). They have breakfast options from 7am-11am, but they also service paninis all times of the day. And aside from baked goods, they also sell cute accessories. Service is exceptional with great customer service. Place is handicapped accessible although doors are not automated and they dont have an elevator. Each of the mens and womens restroom have one stall with a changing table in the womens restroom. Parking available on their private lot but it can get packed during busy hours. Free WiFi!
Quality korean influenced bakery. An internal environment with tables and very relaxed atmosphere. There is also a patio that is enabled according to the weather.Cakes and pastries are very attractive to the eye, breads and a few creamy ice cream flavors.Pets are not allowed, except with a license. The staff is attentive, but dealing with customers who do not speak English fluently could be improved.
i really love this place. staffs are super friendly. have delicious menus. their coffee is pretty good and i love their chocolate mousse. I would definitely recommend coming here. They also have outside seatings upstairs. It is very calming and nice.
I ordered their green tea gelato snow and it was bomb!! It came with some pieces of mochi, red bean and the shaved iced had condensed milk in it. I was so full from dinner, but I was able to finish the small (which is pretty bigbecause it was so good! I would probably get a small if youre not too hungry because the regular size is huge.
I am not a huge fan of overly sweet cakes so this place is perfect for me. The cake was scrumptious to say the least. I am very parsimonious and truly value my dollar, so when my funds net me something of value, I am delighted! The cake was worth the money! I will be going back to them as long as they continue to keep their quality high. Theyre my "go-to" cake place that Ill continue to recommend. Keep it up!
Friendly staff, cute and cozy, savory and sweets are excellent! We got a few things that we loved, especially the chocolate mousse!!
This place is great and it is reminds me so much of Seoul that I can’t describe it. The desserts all taste great and the service is very attentive. I really enjoy visiting this little bakery!
The selection in this beautiful, airy space is wonderful! Cakes for friends, family, dates, birthdays, or special events? Check this place out! Super cute baked goods and other treats to delight your tastebuds 🤩 their chocolate mousse cake is especially yummy! Plus the staff is lovely and helpful as well. There is plenty of parking.
I had a great experience at BreezeBakery Cafe. I wish I could have tried more of their pastries. They have a great variety of sandwiches, pastries and also ice creams.
I only buy one thing here. Caramel cakes and they are friggen delicious! I tried a Honeydew Smoothie last time I went. That was amazing as well. I may try some gelato/frozen yogurt/ice cream next time.
When your wife is craving something sweet but she doesn’t know what she wants - this is the place to take them. This is also a good place for a cheat weekend! But the castellans are better at Shilla’s.
I only came in here for a quick drink. The drink, vanilla chai, was lukewarm and was quite sweet. The chai flavor was more mild than I like. I wouldnt come back for just the drink. It looked like a nice place to sit down and chill in, and the pastries looked appetizing, although I cannot comment on the taste. The menu was quite intriguing. If youre looking for a place to chill this is a good one.
Breeze Bakery is a super cute asian cafe with amazing treats! The staff are super helpful and friendly. The cakes are professionally made and the pastries are always delicious. The drinks are amazing as well (they have dairy-free smoothie options and substitutes). I definitely recommend this place to everyone!
This place is a great deal! Place is open until super late, which is very convenient for the "late night" desert ;Coffee as always great and tasty, staff is friendly. Place can be very crowded on Friday and Saturday night. So I would suggest to come earlier, even tho never had a problem to find that last open table ;)
The desserts were quite amazing. I especially enjoyed the fruity ones. However, I did not like the red bean flavor. I also loved how they had indoor and outdoor seating.
Its an amazing place with amazing baked treats with a great atmosphere. You feel you left the USA. A solid collection of coffees, teas, and cakes. Love it and t will be my regular spot. Its a hidden gem that I have just discovered. I just advice them to add stevia as a sweetener in their coffee bar. I love their staff
Second time we’ve been here. Breads and pastries are subpar. I would have expected a better execution of the egg tarts. The egg custard part was really pasty and unpleasant. The tart shell was under baked, you could taste the doughyness. The pastry cream bread was really disappointing. The pastry cream is not a real pastry cream, noted by the unpleasant yellow color. Coming from a can or Jello brand vanilla pudding mix. Seriously disappointed. I would love to see a good asian bakery using quality ingredients and better execution of breads. Won’t be back.
In my opinion Breeze is the best Korean Bakery in northern Virginia that I have been able to find. They have a huge selection of fresh baked breads, cakes, pastries and even offer sandwiches, ice cream and coffee. They also have bingsu which is a Korean shaved ice treat which the green tea flavor is awesome btw. Whenever we have guest from out of town come visit we make sure we stop by Breeze so they can take some home with them. Highly recommended for the sweet tooth people.
Awesome bakery with variety of desserts to choose from. Found this on a desire for chocolate cupcake and scored. Also picked up a blueberry as it just looked interesting. Soft moist light and fluffy cake topped with yummy icing to suit. Truly enjoyed and highly recommend and will visit again next time Im up that way.
Nice and cozy area! My mom and I love this place!! We visit frequently. A variety of baked goods to choose from. We find that the earlier we get there, the better. There are more options in the morning. I personally love eating out on the patio when it’s warm outside.
Came here after AYCE BBQ with friends and had the Green Tea shave ice(Korean shave ice or call bing soo). BOMB.Pretty pricey but portion is generous. They have more than shave ice where you can find korean bread items, cookies and ice cream. Super crowded but good amount of space for seating.
Not too many bakeries in the area and this one has a great variety. Everything is fresh and opens early. The pastries with chocolate are my favorite.I learned at my last visit, you use the trays next to the door and tongs.
