Gorgeous surprise in Bredasdorp. Always followed on FB but our 1st visit. Great ambiance & great service.Menu with a wide variety, some items a bit expensive though. Smallish size omelette, although enough, only with cheese, no garnish @ R60. Bread charged extra. Breakfast with Bacon, Boerewors, Egg & Toast @ R129.But treat yourself, its clean, lovely decor, food well prepared.Shop section with plenty to browse and choose from, all interesting items.Well be back, if ever in that area.

Discovered this cute little eatery/ shop in Bredasdorp,on our way to De Hoop Collection Nature Reserve with #CapeCountryRoutes . The store, fully stocked with unique items in colour coordinated themes with have you in a tiz. ”Bredasdorp Square” is proudly an icon. Meals can be enjoyed inside at the fireplace with the glistening chandeliers, in the courtyard with the gold fish pond and wisteria or on the stoep, overlooking the square garden, with more than a 100 Iceberg Rose bushes. Guests can wonder around through the gift and curio store and the art gallery featuring 13 artists depicting scenes which reflect the best of the southern tip of Africa. Upstairs the four double en-suite rooms are spacious, elegantly appointed in crisp whites, each with an old world Victorian bath. From the colonial appointed veranda you can relax and look over the Strandveld to the Arniston Dunes. The lively complex is a favorite with locals and tourists where they Eat, Sleep & Shop. Beautifully crafted shop with lovely array of products to purchase, but the reception at the counter upon purchasing diminishes the allure due to the palpable moodiness of the staff. Such a pity.

Fantastic place to stay and to eat. Run by Owner Manager Juanita, who keeps a wonderful spot filled with eclectic designs and wonderful goods for every taste. Food are divine and the rooms are very spacious with some wonderful views of Bredasdorp. Several shops are within walking distance.

So Ive not been here for quite some time despite living in Bredasdorp.Wow, what a pleasant surprise. This place is amazing. Need a gift for someone special you will definitely get it here. I was especially Impressed with the whiskey, wine and gin selection.I had a cup of coffee but will be back to try a meal.

An exquisite and unexpected gem found in Bredasdorp!Breathtaking interior with treasures galore in terms of upmarket and high end shopping. Lovely ambience and a spot on the veranda with a delicious iced coffee on a hot day is a lovely memory! Delish light meals on offer as well according to what other diners were being served. Definitely worth a return visit . This beautiful establishment would not be out of place in a place like The Cotswolds or the French or Italian countryside.

Kind of mini store and coffee shop. Many homemade jams, and many other food products that you can see that is not made in industrial way. Nice and friendly people, good breakfast. Everything very well distributed in a big space. Some very old machines, records, devices, etc. Should be visited.

Definitely a 5 star restaurant for quality of produce, taste and presentation. Staff are excellent, friendly and attentive. Charming choice of seating areas invite you to linger for longer than you intend. Definitely somewhere we will return to again and again.

A very cosy place to stay, easy access to ammenities too. Friendly staff and great breakfast choices to wake up to. A shower would be a great idea though.

Stumbled upon this gem in the heart of Bredasdorp! Stunning place offering accommodation, eats, art and great shopping. We had good coffee and delicious pancakes! What a treat!

A beautiful historical venue. We had coffee (perfect Americanoand selectable orange cupcakes in front of the fire. Our waitess gave us her personal attention. Plenty of gifts and bric-a-brac to browse through and spoil yourself with.

Beautiful place to visit in the middle of Bredasdorp, very lovely place well decorated by the owner come for lovely baked cheese cake with lovely berries. Service is very good with a smile always.

Love this place. We overnight in one of the rooms, beautiful and cosy. The food is always out of this world, friendly family owners and staff. The cost of food is very reasonable and huge varity on offer. This is the one place to tick off when travelling through Bredasdorp. You will kick yourself if you miss out on this one!!!!

If you are in or driving through Bredasdorp, definitely make this a stop. Had a lovely lunch and lemonade outside on the patio, before doing a little shopping in the beautiful gift shop! The shop is a little expensive, but still worth a look. There is a single bathroom, which a beautiful and clean. It also has lovely smelling soaps and lotions for your use.

A lovely restaurant! Either a tea or coffee is special. Meals are excellent. Very nice gift store with unique stock not available anywhere else in the town ... worth a visit!

The Square serves the most exquisite lunch buffet which is perfect especially if you are in a hurry. Delicious food. Friendly service. Tranquil ambience. (Also some fine gin on the drinks menu). I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Quality food & drink with a good atmosphere.Portion sizes are not large, but the ingredients are quality. My scone & red capacino were enjoyable & the carrot cake looked very good.Many seating options. The tables Infront of the garden & in the front room are obvious, but more tables are available in the backrooms & quartyard.Quaint gifts & bits & bobs are for sale in the shop area.

I might be biased, since the very first slice of cheesecake I ever had was here, but I have never had another slice that even comes close. Bredasdorp square really has the very best cheesecake in the country.Wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant looking out onto a beautifully kept garden.The staff are polite, quick and very professional.The little store inside stocks some of the nicest little surprises.
