Its a spot with a nice view, as far as Wellingtons south coast with no view of the south island goes. The walk up the hill is nice, and offers some extra exercise...

Memorial to those that fought and died at Gallipoli during WW1. And a bond shared between Turkey and NZ. The hills surrounding resemble the battle area and the memorial on top is a gift from the Turkish government

Great walk tucked away down the back of Wellington. Off-lead dog friendly section there as well. Fantastic views of the South Coast and Cooks Straight.

Reasonably easy access from the car park along a gravel path with a few steps to the lookout. Great views of the South Coast from the top.
