BBQ and sides were cold. They took to reheat and came out lukewarm.

Ordered the monte cristo sandwich, definitely recommend it! Didn’t get a chance to try the bbq , hope too next time I’m in the area, staff was great , really fast service, can’t wait to go back.

Where do I begin their lunch specials alone should have the place slammed from 11 to 2 they have the absolute best grilled chicken sandwich in town it is so juicy and flavorful, you have to add bacon, it comes with a very generous portion of fries or sweet potato fries or onion ringsnot to mention the fried chicken sandwich which is also a good size nice portion and so good I personally get it with the vampire sauce They have very good tacos too the vampire tacos are one to try the pulled pork sandwich the poor boy I mean you can’t go wrong everything is good here and worth it and their staff are so kind and courteous I appreciated it not to mention when you’re in a hurry for lunch you don’t have much time it’s great food cooked promptly just right I will be posting a picture soon I just gobbled it up too fast and forget to take pictures but trust me you will not regret it this is my go to place for lunch

Great as always! Not one item was incorrect or taste less than perfect. Our waitress totally rocked 🤘 Loved her! Can see this being a weekly night out.

Great burgers worth the drive

I was tempted as in cattle county ? and the reviews were good ? But in the end the rib eye plate was Denny’s quality. In one ear had bro-county from the house speakers and the other ear Fetty Wap or some other equally bad trap rap blaring from the yo boy in the kitchen. A roach crawled up from under the table while was signing the bill to help bust the table. Only up side was waitress Angelita was very friendly and professional, great server. I hope she finds a new job soon and gets out of this dump.

Had the surf and turf with asparagus and rice. My steak and the BBQ shrimp embrochettes were delicious 😋 I was not disappointed at all. I also found out that I am a fan of their peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream 😍

We are from Central Texas where Texas BBQ rules. It was a nice place, if you are from a BBQ Mecca, don’t order the BBQ.

Great food and excellent craft beer. I didnt realize they brewed it right there, until the bartender showed me the vats! Ill definitely be going back!

Loved this place! We were on our way back to MO, 13 hours left, stopped here so glad we did! Our server was super helpful, we had a 100 Q’s, and super friendly! Food was great, portions were great, prices fit the plates! Would definitely recommend and stop again! Brisket nachos and two meat plate so yummy!

Down in Kingsville for two weeks for work. We went to a different restaurant each night during our stay, expect for Brays. We visited Brays three different nights. Fantastic food every time. Friendly staff. Overall a great experience!

Waitress was really nice but definitely don’t stop here if you are in town visiting. All of our food was lukewarm especially the fries. Strawberry daiquiri just tasted like sweet water. It took quite sometime to get our drinks from the bar as well. Just wasn’t impressed but gave it a try.

Nacho app plate presentation is spectacular and the brisket has a very delicious Smokey flavor. The chicken leg quarter ala carte was very good.

Great food every time. Never had a bad experience. One of our favorite places to eatIn Kingsville. Vampire tacos are awesome.

Overall, it was a good experience. The water tasted a bit weird and the Chili was cold the first time it was brought out. Chili was fixed. The bbq chicken plate and smokehouse burgers were good. I still look forward to coming back.

Ive been here many time but my most recent pick up order had a bundle of hair and old lettuce stashed under the fries. I think the tongs fell somewhere and they didnt clean it before using it. But mostly good food. Pretty good beer selection

This place is great when it hits and iffy when it misses. I have had great food and great service and I have had ok service and ok food. Last trip a person in our party got a drink and the juice in it had gone bad. The time before my drink was excellent. I found the BBQ chicken is better than the steak, especially as I have never seen them get the doneness correct.

I try to make it here every time I come in town. Great take out, and prices. The chopped beef & margarita are my favorite.

We had high hopes based on reviews. Even more so when we walked in and saw the awards theyve won. Then we tried the brisket chili appetizer and it was so delicious we thought we were really in for a treat!Then our meals came and it all went south, with a few exceptions.My brisket almost seemed like it had been cooked in a crock pot and then sat out and got cold, rather than smoked. Its supposed to be tender and have fat, but not supposed to be just a mushy mess of beef and coagulated fat.One of my sides (borracho beanswas great. The other (green beanswas flavorless. Im not sure how you can make a dish that has smoked sausage in it, yet tastes like nothing. And I mean absolutely nothing. The only time Ive experienced so little flavor in my life was when I had covid.My pulled pork on the other hand was, by far, the best pulled pork Ive ever had.My wifes ribs were bone dry. Her chicken was decent and sides were not bad.The cornbread is also good.Some dishes make me want to give a higher overall rating, but I cant because this is Texas, where brisket is king for a BBQ place. Ribs are also kind of a big deal in determining BBQ quality. This place had a swing and miss on each of the dishes I give the most weight to.The service is the reason Im giving this place a third star. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive.Unfortunately for this restaurant, the food is what makes a customer come back, and in this case it just made us wish wed gone back to the place we ate the previous night.

Lexi was our waitress and was great! She took the time to tell us about the city since we were passing through. All the food was delicious! It came out fast and was hot. Cant wait to go again!

Food was awesome! Appetizers where amazing, the drinks where well made, steak was cooked just like how we liked it and the dino rib was perfectly seasoned. The sides that came with the rib meal where bland but didnt detract from the main focus of the meal. Will definitely come back again.

I would always recomend this place but not anymore past two times server has gotten our order wrong yesterday my wife and a friend both.ordered lean brisket and they got mostly fat my daughter ordered smokehouse burger she got mushroom burger I ordered pork ribs and sausage and got fat brisket and sausage server never wrote down our order we will never be back

We ordered and after almost 30 minutes of waiting the waitress comes over and says they ran out of chicken and ribs, what we had ordered. We decided to get the brisket and pulled pork. Service was super slow and the place was dead. Food had no flavor and the meats were dry and no taste of smoke. Mac and cheese was dry and flavorless. Dont let the 4.6 stars fool u like it did us. Never again.

I guess its ok, not more than 2 stars though. Staff is lame, they look unhappy. I get greeted better at stripes. Maybe I shouldve avoided the drive and just gotten stripes tacos. Nice looking place. It looks modern but it doesnt have a good flow..thats my opinion ofcourse. Prices are ok but with the staff, it seemed too pricey. I get lame service, they get lame tip.IHOP in town has GREAT service. Send the staff there for breakfast so they can see 5 star service at a 2 star franchise. They were super friendly when I was paying...hmmmThe brisket was cold...just as everyone had been commenting. Not impressed

really really good Q... brisket just enough moist, rib meat slides oof the bone but not "mushy." Jalapeno Cornbread is the bomb. finished with Peach Cobbler... WOW!!!AND OUR WAITRESS WAS THE BEST!I would HIGHLY recommend a visit to Brays.

Got there at 5:00pm only a few dining and 4 or 5 at the bar wait staff were spot on. I ordered the 3 meat with potato salad, onion rings and a beer.Got my order quickly! Warmest thing on the table was the beer everything else was room temperature. The potato salad was good I went back to my hotel and ordered a pizza.Pretty sure the health department would have had a field day if they showed up that day.

Good food with nice portions. Brisket was tender. Corn bread was good! Sauce was small cup, but tasty. Good service.

I had a great experience here for dinner. I came here on a Tuesday night. It wasnt terribly busy. I sat at the bar and was attended to. I was not overly doted on, nor was I ignored. The service was just the right amount of attention. The ladies at the bar were friendly and available. They both stayed busy the entire time I was there.The food arrived quickly and was all very solid. I had a ribeye with asparagus and a baked potato. I also ordered their homemade queso and chips. Everything arrived promptly. It was all hot and fresh tasting. The steak was cooked the way I requested with perfect grill marks. The flavor was pleasant and smoky. If I was to nitpick, the steak was a little thin cut, but not overly so. The asparagus were fresh tasting and also had a good smoky flavor. The potato was on the smaller end, but it was loaded as I requested. I thought it was pretty good value for my money, too. I really cannot think of any negatives to say. I would highly recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Sides werent the best. However the meat and entries were actually very good. PLEASE work on the Mac and cheese. A good Mac and cheese can make a meal. I got some yesterday and itfelt like it was microwaved. Great staff and a good environment.

Over all I would come here again. Service was great. No wait time. The nachos were lukewarm, onions rigs were meh. Kids food was great. The dinno rib was a great size. Portions were a good size.

Server was great the fries were cold but she fixed that.Dino Rib didnt disappoint. My brisket poor boy was generous is size.Good variety on menu besides bbq.Only reason we ate there ..Spice Station was closed.

This is the best BBQ Ive ever eaten! The brisket and the chicken were amazing. The sides were also great - delicious cornbread, roasted potatoes and more. Even the Bloody Mary was the best, with a chunk of brisket as garnish. We drove from Houston for a visit to the area and we would come back just to come to this restaurant. Dont miss it!

Good place for BBQ and more. Even had live music on Thursday. Liked the atmosphere, the staff and really decent prices. Quantity of food for price was decent also. Pulled pork and brisket was tender. Worth the money.

Its a random stop and glad we did! I had to try a chicken Taco, and it did not disappoint! I also had to try the brisket sausage hoagie/po boy with sweet potato fries. Delicious. Its always a rule of thumb with Texas BBQ that if you can smell the smoke as you walk up to the building, you know it will be good. This place didnt have a strong smoke smell, but with all new types of smoker, Im sure it was a heavier smell in the kitchen. Either way the food was great.

Ive never eaten a burger from a restaurant, felt like it was made at home, then reach inside my burger to tear off a piece of the patty just to try it alone. It was that good of a burger patty. The street tacos we ordered were also delicious, the brisket was tender and great. We also ordered 4 drinks from the bar and they were all perfectly made. It was a Friday night so the raucous atmosphere and slightly slower service was expected and not at all detrimental to our meal.

Campfire smores beer really tasted like roasted marshmallows. Beef brisket was tender and flavorful. Servers forgot a part of my order but removed it from the bill when I mentioned it. Good place to get bbq, I recommend it.

We were seated very quickly. We got an order of fried pickles and they were tasty. We then ordered a Campfire Smores beer which was quite good, it tasted just like a smore. My hubby ordered a mushroom swiss burger and I ordered the vampire taco plate. Both were delicious. We havent been here since before the pandemic and we are glad that we came for our date night.

I came here two days in a row.. ill say that from sitting at the bar I had a great experience! Service was great first day, I had the two Salenas seving me then. Enjoy my burger throughly!... second day I came by I was served by the great Salena (the shorter oneherself once again(fridaycame for some awesome Dino ribs.. was not disappointed.. loved my two experiences.. more so the second day (fridaygreat food. Even better Service!

Their brisket is amazing. Banana bread pudding X_X This time I tried their shrimp wrapped in bacon. No sure about the scrap of meat tucked in there but the shrimp was good.

So far is one of the best restaurant i’ve eaten around this area in kingsville. The meat is tender and delicious. I ordered the 3 meats and 2 side orders. Can’t complaint everything was delicious! The only item i wasn’t crazy about was their peach clobbler. I don’t really eat fruit pies like that so can’t really critique it. The waitress, very nice and friendly. Most importantly she kept coming to our table to see if we needed anything

The food was amazing. I got the fish and shrimp and had a hard time finishing because it was alot of food. And our server Kate, he was amazing. He always made sure we had everything we needed and our drinks filled.

Great customer service, delicious food.My love enjoyed his medium rare steak, and I enjoyed the mahi w/ mango pico de gallo, asparagus, and finger licking good mac and cheese.Definitely eating here again.

I was told about this fabulous place thats always busy. Mmmm, I thought there must be something going that I should find out first hand. So Friday evening I hopped in the truck and met my team there. Okay didnt seem to be anything special from the outside just a giant bull in front and a parking lot filled with cars. Was I amazed at the feeling of welcome to the best little town secret spot. I joined some coworkers who were finishing there meal. Samantha was aware I was coming and already knew what I wanted. She quickly got me a drink and told me my options of sides. Fast forward to my meal. Huge dino ribs with asparagus and fully loaded baked potato. Lets start by saying the dino rib was perfectly seasoned that I will only eat that every time I come here. Hands down that was the best I have ever had. So I spoke to the manager Stephanie and asked if i could share some of the other dishes they had to offer and she was happy to ablige. If your ever in kingsville tx make sure you give them a try you may just be surprised by the best meal and service that wont break your piggy bank. I give them two thumbs up. Loved it.

Working in Kingsville with my fellow IT staff members, and our co-worker suggested Brays. Location is the old Sirloin Stockade, and I love that the owners kept the ornamental cow! Upon entering you will be greeted by a shine of their numerous awards for BBQ. I was craving fish, and ordered the mahi mahi w/ grilled asparagus, and it did not disappoint! The fish had gorgeous cross-hatch sear marks, sat on a fluffy bed of white rice and was topped with mango pico de gallo. Rice had great flavor, and was made extremely well. Seasoning on asparagus was great, and it was cooked to perfection! Ill be back next time Im in town!

Ok...so I ordered 3 meat plate - marbled brisket, sausage, and pork ribs with mac n cheese and green beans. Wife ordered 2 meat - lean brisket and chicken with cream corn and asparagus. Son ordered mini tacos- vampire, Hawaiin, and pork. Daughter ordered chicken tacos.Had a michelada and wife ordered a pina colada.Overall experience... 😤. Bring me michelada. Didnt taste right..well...5 minutes later..brought me my beer. Wife didnt like PC at all. Tasted it... just like a coconut raspa!BUT...we were there for the food...Apps- pickles, mushrooms, and pulled pork egg rolls. ALL GOODMy brisket was cold. Tender... decent flavor, but cold. Rib was good bust salty. Sausage was best piece of meat on plate, but was missing something...mac and cheese was like eating play doh. Way too cheesy...yes.. too cheesy. Never thought Id say that. And ordered green beans...and gave me borracho beans. BUT beans were very good!Tried chicken...dry. Cream corn was not good at all. Corn bread had good flavor but was very, very dry.Kids liked their tacos very much.I will try again, but was quite dissappointed.
