Brassica in the Short North in Columbus

I visited two times during my three-day trip to Columbus. They do not have a vast menu, but they are very good at what they are serving. I did try Salad and sandwiches, one with chicken and the other with brisket, and all were perfect.Put this place in your to-visit list✌️

Upon entry, the vibe was warm and the tunes were top. Nothing like a little toe tapping to get you ready for a sandwich that will blow you away.Ordered the brisket sandwich. And oh. my. Fresh pita baked right in front of you, hummus, salad, crispy onions, pickled cukes and radishes, tabouli, marinated eggplant, and that special sauce….Every single bite was an experience. Full of complexity, bursting flavors, and perfect textures. You will want to inhale it, but I encourage you to savor this. The bites, the moments, the atmosphere. You’ll find yourself walking out the door satisfied, only to turn around and walk back in for another.

Mouth-watering, deep-flavored brisket sandwich!! The complexity was all the way to the last bite. We left feeling satisfied and content but not overfull. Fantastic!! Will be back.

The food was nasty. No one came outside to give me my food at the curbside pick. I had to go inside. The Brassica in Upper Arlington is100% better. Better service and better food. I will not be returning to this location.

Searching for a lunch spot? Eat here. Had never been to Brassica before but employees were very helpful in explaining the process (yes, basically a Mediterranean Chipotle). Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was quick too.

Brassica is for anyone, anytime! An upscale, Mediterranean, Chipotle. Quick lunch or casual date night, it’s the place to be. Highest quality ingredients and delicious combinations. On the pricey side but worth it for the quality and portion sizes. A gem!!

I LOVE this place! They use super high quality, organic ingredients, everything is yummy and flavorful and the customer service is outstanding. Could easily eat here every day! Highly recommend a visit <3

Excellent brisket in a pita 🥙. Telling you, best pita ever. Your choice of fixings from cabbage to pesto dressing. Soda flavors are choice as well with a side of fries that are spiced smoky. Be ready for the $20.00 price tag 🏷 for one meal.

All we could talk about through dinner was how good the place and food was. Don’t miss this place, they have excellent food. We got the hummus plate with chicken and the brisket pita pocket. The toppings and sauces are unique and excellent. So glad to have found this gem and will definitely be back when in Columbus!Update: we were back and enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. We also got takeout for the road!

Im usually not super into Mediterranean foods but this place blew my mind! The pitas are soft, the chicken is super flavorful and the pickled cabbage and roasted carrots are to die for. I dont know what all is in the special sauce but it is magical and the fries are so well seasoned. YUM.

The food was amazing. You get a lot of food for a decent price. They ran out of falafel while I was ordering but I only waited 3 minutes before they were serving up more.

I ate a delicious "late lunch" -- or "early supper" -- yesterday [8-29-2022] at Brassica [Short North].This is the third Brassica location at which I have eaten so I am now familiar with the process of selecting from a great variety of ingredients from which your server will create a custom-made bowl.The architecture of the Brassica in the Short North is extremely interesting because the building is perhaps only twenty feet wide but more than 150 feet deep. The kitchen is halfway back which means that there is a narrow section of the dining room that is no more than ten feet wide.There is reportedly a patio behind the building. I am saying that because there is a neon "PATIO" sign at the back of the dining room that directs people outside and further back.The food at Brassica is consistently delicious. If you are looking for a delicious custom-made bowl; I strongly recommend Brassica [at any of their locations].

A delight, Im a tourist of Columbus and packed enough food to only need to go out once. I am so pleased !! The food is delicious and filled me up three times. The only thing that was a disappointment was that wed asked how much just meat was because my husband is on a strict meat only diet, and the server said about $5.... it cost me $18...$33 total for lunch. .. it was delicious but it really was a financial loss for us especially so far from home.The server did a great job Regardless and was polite and a joy to talk to. She also put chicken juices on top of my hummus bowl.. thank you!!!!! So flavorful

Lively atmosphere with fantastic food. Absolutely love the bowls and pita, fries are decent but the cookies are great. Order at the counter style means you get your food fast too.

Wow. The Pita bread itself was so very good. Everything put inside was very tasty. The chicken had a very deep and delicious spice.

We stopped here while driving through Columbus , however after eating here I would absolutely make a special trip to eat here.The food was absolutely delicious and the service was even better.I had the hummus bowl with chicken , topped with the tahini sauce, pickled cabbage, pickled beets, roasted carrots & eggplant and pickled cucumbersEverything was delicious

Fantastic place. Sort of a Lebanese variant on ChipotleI went with the salad base (which includes lentils and grains). Got several of the included veggie toppings - roast carrots, roast eggplant, beets - which were phenomenal. Added chicken for $3, which was a good, flavor-adding move.Everything was so fresh and tasty. Friendly and efficient service.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Excellent place -was in Columbus just for three days and I went there twice. Definitely had one of the best meal in my trip through the US! Food is fresh and ready prepared, excellent choice of ingredients. Staff is very friendly so I definitely recommend!!

Food: its fresh, delicious and light (bowls/pita wraps). I used to get them every night, during week long trips to Columbus.Service: Food it ordered Chipotle style. The employees are very courteous and friendly.

One of the best things I’ve had in my entire life. Not much more needs to be said. This place is amazing. Wish I could enjoy it more often. $20 but because of the lunch margarita. The lunch margarita was a must for me today though.

Super happening place. Nice location in the heart of Columbus downtown. Colorful place and the bowls. Place is not so big but its really good. Humus and baba ganush are really good. I have been to other locations of brassica and never disappointed. I really enjoyed the food and vibe in here. Working staff is friendly and disciplined.

This place is fantastic!!! Very healthy, very fresh ingredients and taste so good. I had the chicken Shawarma, slow roasted chicken with aromatic spices and all the toppings over salad for $14. Will be back next time in town. Great staff, and very clean restaurant.

Delicious Mediterranean-style fast casual food similar to Chipotle. Relatively fresh ingredients and good flavors!

This food was good and the facility is super clean and very modern. The menu was very limited. The prices were okay but a little on the pricey side for what it was. We also had to pay for parking and walk. This is a very cute area though, so its a nice place to visit if you want to check out other local shops as well.

First time here in Ohio and obviously at Brassica. This place was delicious, very fresh and friendly staff. I also love the vibe of the place it is very chill and comfy. I definitely recommend getting the brisket!

We are in town, touring OWU and from Chicago so we know food. Brassicas dining area has nice ambience & the staff is friendly & welcoming. The food is delish. I had the brisket sandwich & the meat melts in your mouth. My daughter enjoyed her chicken salad very much. Their ingredients are fresh & flavorful.

Really really tasty food. Fresh ingredients, fantastic flavors combinations, and exciting new spins on classic pitas. Kind of on the pricier side (count $15 for a pita sandwichbut worth it as an occasional treat.

The lamb bacon is killer.. fries w/ the special sauce are perfect and so is the eggplant! Id give it 5 stars but I think its a little to pricey. Specifically the "salad" which is more of a grain bowl that costs an extra $2. But all in all its a solid spot to grab some high quality food.

Beautiful venue, colorful dishes, fresh ingredients, awesome briskets, just a great delight dining here!!The restaurant has ample seatings despite its small footprint and I just love the lighting and decorations here, a modern and warm ambience.The servers were awesome, friendly and when their oven was not working when we wanted to order pitas, they delivered to us as soon as it was ready so that we did not miss out it. That’s pride and attention to customers!We got the salads with briskets and everything they had. I just love the colors in the bowl and that you could have both humus and babas if you wanted. The briskets were really juicy and had wonderful seasoning.If I was to be picky, my only complain is that the briskets could be more generous. It was great and I wanted more of it!

I usually stop at brassica last minute craving an all veggie falafel bowl and today did not disappoint. The falafel is always fresh and crispy, and every single veggie is on point and tasty. Definitely a favorite

My only issue was, why have I never eaten at this glorious establishment before?!? Fast-casual Mediterranean eatery served in the same manner as Chipotle or Piada, and sister restaurant to wonderful Northstar Cafe - quality is king here. As someone who smokes brisket, I had high expectations for what they presented, and although it was not smoked low and slow, but braised - the flavor was absolutely killer. I am such a big fan, and they even have really wonderful vegetarian options to choose from. Service was great, the vibe light and fun, topped with tasty beer. Love this place, will be back.

Forgive me for gushing but Im not from the area so Im not familiar with Brassica. This place is like a Mediterranean Chipotle with higher quality food. So good, so flavorful and generous portions. Also, I didnt take a pic but my fries were amazing.

First time here and I loved it! The food is so full of great flavor. A bit on the pricey side, but youre paying for quality, and I feel its worth it.

We wanted to find a place that has some falafels. We have not been able to find any good restaurants that offer Falafels in Columbus. My brother-in-law recommended we try this place. Me and my wife took a ride to check out this restaurant. We had a hard time finding parking but eventually we found some. We walked inside and and the food smelled wonderful and the decor and vibe was very nice.We were greeted by a very friendly staff in the young man whose name I am drawing a blank with, he was absolutely amazing and gave us great recommendations. We both went with the falafel bowl with all the toppings and everything was as fresh as it gets. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Everything that they recommend we got in our bowl and we do not regret any of it. This bowl is so full of flavor and we will definitely be back.

Amazing lunch spot. Quick, easy and great prices. Mediterranean options, I got falafel pita and then there is an incredible options bar. Baba, hummus, fried onions, beets, radishes, grilled eggplant, cucumbers and more. They serve beer and wine too

As always, this Brassica is amazing. All Brassicas are amazing, pun intended 😜Thanks to their pickled veggies, rice/lentils and fresh made everything, I am full for at least two meals.

Each lunch here is like a painting, and the palate are the different tastes available from the choices you make.I had the corned beef, with a variety of tastes. In other places I add hot sauce, but I didnt need it here because everything was so distinctive. The pickles, the slaw, the meat, the hummus, and all the rest. Just quietly eating your meal you can be taken on a journey.So so good, please check this place out. You will be thankful.Over the top service as well!

Flavorful and delicious. The only thing is “if you like a bland and boring meal” this is not your place. Everything is cooked to have a unique and delicious flavor by itself, nothing here is flat at all. Good for vegetarian and even for vegans. Meat options as well. Good quick bite.

Worth the drive from Cincy to Cbus! This place is delicious! The brisket is savory and juicy in flavor. The vegetables are a bliss of colors and freshness. The drinks are refreshing, especially on a hot boiling day. The restaurant is a quaint space. Vibe of staff is unpretentious and quick. Brassica is a really great place! My first time and not my last. Georgie greeted us at the entrance and we served a Cherry Brassarita each, they even added cherries to each drink and they use Hornitos Tequila. You can sample.the brassarita or get a full drink. Georgie was an absolutely wonderful young lady, very helpful, very funny, She made things wonderful and easy.They offer salad or sandwich. Sandwich is a stuffed pita. You add in protein, greens, hummus or baba. Then theres the veggies if you desire. They even offer fries and cookies and of course water or soda. The layout for the inside simple, pick a table if theres one available or eat alfresco outside. I opted for the sandwich and even though it was very good, I wish I had gotten the salad. I got chicken with baba and eggplant with fried cauliflower. Very good! This was my first time eating eggplant and I loved it. Definitely a very popular place to dine but not surprising for a restaurant at Easton. I can definitely see a return trip.

This place is charming, the presentation and aesthetic, flavors, textures, very well done and genuinely fresh. If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine then you’ll not be disappointed. It might take a few visits to refine your favorite tastes and there are some lovely options that fuse American and Mediterranean effectively. The spicy carrots, the cauliflower and jalapeño, fried crunchy onions, brisket etc... The place obviously has excellent reviews, and thus rightfully so!
