Brasserie vau de ville in Stockholm

I went to Vau De Ville last night and found the food was awesome. I tried Piemonte Italy. The food was just awesome. The staff had behaved very well. Price was reasonable according to the quality. Strongly recommended.

Vau De Ville is our go-to celebration spot; they never let us down. Dinner of Steak Minute with caramelized corn crumbs and calvados cream is one of the best ones I have ever had. In a word, the service was superb. Highly recommended.

Wow! Excellent cuisine tried here several times. But I always try to explore the foods of their very own. They have some extraordinary items. Moule Frites is one of their famous weekend items every time I go there to take this one.

Last night, I went there for dinner. The place is so beautiful. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. I took Oyster Legris neutral as a starter, and then I took Fritrerade kikärtbollar, kapris, saffransmajonnäs Grilled squid, Fried chickpeas balls, capers, saffron mayonnaise as main courses. All the food was well cooked. Highly suggested!

I went this restaurant last week. The chef made very special group meal. The meal was Tuna Tataki. The meal was too good. I also tried a new drink Achaval-Ferrer. Everything was too good.

We count ourselves quite lucky to be able to reach this location with only a short car ride from our house. The appetizers and the food served in the restaurant downstairs are also of exceptional quality. Wow, those cocktails are amazing. The wine is quite good, and they have a beautiful range of beers. I absolutely adore this location and want to keep coming again.

If you are first time in this restaurant, then you must have to try some special significant items which they have provided specially. You might try the Oysters on the half shell with frozen hot sorbet with Trout Rice. The place is highly recommended for its calm environment.

Avoid this restaurant, frying smell, and as a French brasserie book table is not the reference / vau de ville means in French « comic situations » => so yes so much fried smell is not a French reference.

Incredible food and efficient service. And also fair price considering the circumstances. Would highly recommend as a high quality, end extremely central, lunch restaurant. Cant say anything about their dinner, though.

Poor service and coffee. Staff was a bit rude at the bar and the bathrooms were not clean. For 54 kr, at least serve decent coffee.

Lovely spot in mid of Stockholm! Great music played in the background! Really good vibes music. Beautiful 360 views from every angle where you sit. We loved the cocktails and the food :)

Foods alright. Clientelle more suited to Mayfair than Stockholm and the service is about as bad as it gets (manners are free). Doubt they care though, the place is busy and filled with the "right types" so I guess theyll just crack on as is.

Doesnt stand out, but is good at what it does, I guess? We had some dirty seats. Would definitely be a better pick during warmer days, since the seating is subpar in comparison to other indoor bars.

A good place to drink after a long walk and shop in town. Its warm and super cozy at the glassed-in bar area regardless of how cold the weather is. Ive been here twice during winter and spring season and this place is so warm inside that I didnt want to leave after. Perfect spot to escape the cold.The drinks were amazing! Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I will for sure come back for my third, forth and more visits!

If You need the best Swedish meatballs, this is the place go to verrrry delicious

Food was fresh and tasty. Swedish cuisine. Located few mins from Kungsträdgården, center of a square.

Great place to enjoy your drink and food, while you have a great view of outside. Especially when its cold outside, you can enjoy the warmte from inside and look at the people who are walking out in the cold.The food is great and their selection of wine is big.Staff is friendly and service is fast. Cute place, close to all stores. I had the tartar, which I loved. They do put a lot of Koriander on basically everything and I know, that most people hate it, maybe its something they could ask before hand or just dont do.

Location is great, the interior is spacious and open with glass walls. I got the skagenröra /shrimp mix with toast. It was delicious. The service was not welcoming though. On the bistro side you dont get a good service. I had to find my own table and ask for the menu and water although there is a host at the entrance. The food should also be ordered at the bar. More of a cafe service on the bistro side

The food and drinks are okay, but not remarkable. Very high prices. The outdoor seating is pleasant, so maybe good for having something to drink. The tables are a bit too close to eachother that you can follow comversation from the table next to you. Professional service, yet too busy.

The drinks are good. The DJ was playing really nice house songs. The only thing os that for my taste the mojito was a little bit too sweet.

We wase thet in week day no prob ..we finde a tabel have som drinks and food...Then we wanted to have a drink ..another day..we waited in line.other people passed in ques..without waiting ......The place wase empty...but the dorman start to talk about distance...and didnt want as to go in...We explained wer taking only one drink......his tone wase so loud..hi wase so agresiv...rude..uneducated....a very bad treatment...never meet before in eney ather places....If youre looking for a nice place DONT go to this place!

Perfect spot for weekend lunch. Based on the central location, you expect tourist fare, but the traditional menu, while a bit pricey for lunch, is very nice. The service is consistently good, and the wine list is great. We like to eat here year round, either outside on the patio to people watch in nice weather or upstairs where its cozy and warm during the winter. My favorites are the toast skagen or halloumi salad and my husband always orders the minute steak.

Great first experience with Köttbullar and Fish&Chips. The meat of the Köttbullar was really juicy, the pickles and cranberries very fresh. The salmon of the Fish&Chips was very juicy and crispy. The coleslaw was fresh and the sauce a bit spicy. The service was friendly but a bit slow. Interessting dessert (sweet and salty).

Great salads with perfect composition of ingredients. They look superb delicious.I ordered the one with halloumi cheese and can highly recommend. Not so cheap though.
