Brasserie le village - Brasserie in Goussainville, France
Service was a little grumpy, but Best food ever!!!
Good, charming brassiere with a touch better than average food. Tables are too small and close together. Service felt a bit rushed. Prices are moderate. Expect to spend €50+ for a meal of wine/beer and main course for 2.
This place was packed every night, I was only able to get a reservation 5 days into my trip, unfortunately the food was underwhelming.
Good food fairly priced
terrible restaurant and terrible staff!!! Do not recommend
Very busy restaurant in the pleasant village of Roissy. The food is good and reasonably priced. If you are looking for a quiet spot, this will not be it. Tables are tightly packed in and generally fairly full.I was very surprised on our most recent visit to be asked for a tip when I paid my bill. This is not the usual practice in France, and during two weeks spent in Provence we were never asked for a tip when paying the dinner bill. The price is the price. I suspect this would not have been asked by our hostess for the local folks dining there.
Run! There is racist in this restaurant! She ignored my words, discriminating against other customers and pretending not to hear is incomprehensible. Now I got why she wearing blue glasses, that means cold blood.I really thanks to God that I am Asian. If not, I wasn’t able to find such a racist.
Good food and nice atmosphere. A French village only five minutes walk from bland corporate hotels. Do yourself a favour and book here rather than eat at your hotel.
We ate here tonight. it took them a while to take the order. They did not get my order correctly and they had to still make mine as my company was already served their food. When it arrived the scallops were raw in the middle. Even though I informed both waitresses that I am pregnant during the order. The third try I received the dish correctly. it was an ok dish. The others at my table were happy with their dishes. When asked during payment if all was ok we did inform them of the struggle, and that it was really not ok. All they said was a quick sorry. In short, I give two stars, but because of the experience for the others an average of 3 stars.
Food was good but not extraordinary. The experience was good. Service was below average particularly that I was there mid afternoon for lunch. Could have been a much better experience all around!
Nice alternative to the airport hotels for a weary traveler. The space is nice. Appears to be a combination pub, convenience store and bistro. Man working the counter was a wee bit of a pig and insisted on smoking right at the entrance. Food was okay. Service was “meh”. Advice: you’re in an airport zone and likely have many international travelers; it might be a good idea to be a bit more friendly and tolerant of some who don’t speak French (even though we try).
Been there a few times and all the food there are very good
Had a layover at the airport and wanted just a small taste of France. The food was amazing and the outdoor seating area was wonderful!
Good service, but very bad food, soup is very cold, old meat . Chicken is almost frozen. Not recommended at all.
Food was delicious but Owner was really rude.
I came during my layover on a Wednesday at 10am.This was the only restaurant open at the time in the village. Still, no one serves food until 12.. so that was a bummer. The waiter was very nice and brought me nuts with my rosè.It’s very easily accessible by bus from the airport.
la pire nourriture que jaie eu en France.je ne recommande pas ce restaurantAsked for rare and got medium bland tough steak. My brothers pasta was over cooked, bread was stale.Service was rude to everyone that wasn’t French. I definitely do not recommend this place to any tourists visiting this area. I saw others send there food back.
Jai voyagé en Europe, cétait le pire repas que jai eu.pâtes trop cuites, steak fade et froid, demandé rare mais cétait moyennement rare. This was the worst experience I have on my traveling around Europe. Pasta was so overcooked and steak wasnt cooked how it was asked. Bland and cold. This is not french food.Definitely do not recommend this place.Any 5 star review is obviously fake.
Good service and good food, friendly staff
This could be such an idyllic restaurant, set as it is in the heart of Roissy-en-France, opposite the beautiful park. Two things left it down and do it from its 5-star potential - the staff and the food. Its difficult to tell if the staff issue was due to us being English, but we were ignored and left waiting consistently, while locals were given priority. A long wait for drinks, a long wait to take our order, a long wait for food, no check to see if we enjoyed either our starters or mains, a long wait for the bill. It must have added an hour to our meal!As for the food, the snails were my own fault for giving them a try - they werent for me! But day-old bread I could have use to hammer nails was on them. I got it replaced with much fresher bread, but it would have been good to have that first! My duck was well-cooked and fresh but the salad was bruised and limp, and the overall flavour of the meal was not what I expect of good French cooking. It wouldnt take much to turn this restaurant around and next time in the area I will give it another go...
It was nice place especially back yard is such a good, but super busy even if you rezerved in advance you suppose to ready to wait a bit. Price and quality is fair enough. Average main dish price is appx 17-18 euro.
Nice place in the middle of the village
Very nice terrace, full of sun and protected from wind. Tipical French food with correct prices. Quick service and professional waiters.
I can’t believe the reviews and photos. One star is too well rated for this place.I ordered one coffee with very little coffee and lots of milk and got the opposite, so ask for milk which never came. The glass of the Chouffe beer was disgusting with hair and sticky stuff on it, so I asked for another glassI ordered a foie gras and received a salmon. They came back with very little foie gras and small broken pieces of breadFinally, the steak medium rare came and received a raw steakThey offered us to cook the meat again. We were so tired and irritated of waiting and calling them every time plus not much expectation, so we left without eating. The manager gave us a 4€ discount for the bad experience.I will not recommend this place to anyone.McDonalds would have been much better.
Wonderful place, nice staff and good food. The lunch set (chickenwith crème brûlée was great. Atmosphere is also nice and cosy. Highly recommended.
Very good food, kind waiters, and nice atmosphere. It was more than crowded, but no hectic, perfect organisation. Thanks for a nice evening
Nice Restaurant, good food and perfect service although it was at full capacity. Reward outside with nice sunset.
Great food and atmosphere - cant reccomend enough and its definitely worth it to walk few hundreds meters more to village.. Go andcsee6ut on your own and proper French atmosphere, cousine and people. All you can want or need. Reccomend!
Great place that we visit when staying in one of the local hotels.
Delicious food and reasonable service. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but the quality of the food makes up for that
I can’t believe this place is well rated. Staff is not friendly, food is not good quality and pricey for what they offer. Very disappointing. Not to mention how terrible are their meat cooking levels.
Decent food and a good ambiance. Can be quite stuffed inside when crowded.
Delicious food, very nice staff. Fully recommended. Trés bien.
Great atmosphere, really good food, served with speed and charm.Recommended and will certainly be back again
Excellent ambience and food. Very lively place. Good prices for the area. Did I mention the food! I cant say enough about the quality. Compliments to the chef.
When you are in the culinary capital of the world and charging these prices its probably best to actually deliver on the food. Mignon du porc was tiny medallions and way overcooked. The onion soup was good. Escargots were middling. Cabillaud (codwith beurre blanc was tender but bland, as was the stir-fried, julienned veggies accompany. First place where we skipped dessert in France 🇫🇷 at le dîner.
Excellent spot to spend an evening before taking off from CDG. Great food, very good seating options, and friendly staff. Had the duck - it was perfect and delicious.
ordered a burger medium, but it was well done and cold. they forgot to add my coffee to the bill, and when i was so kind to tell them - no "im sorry, sir" just a higher bill. cannot recommend.
Food and service was fantastic. Good sized portions representing a good value. Nice variety on the menu from traditional French to western choices, with lots of options for those visiting who are less adventurous. Back patio is a quaint and enjoyable space. Highly recommended.
So unexpected. Locals and visitors come together here. family run place that is full of character. if you are passing by Paris airport and not fancying airport food. grab a taxi! its fun.. it is Paris after all.
Lovely meal with work colleagues. We chose a variety of starters and mains - all very good. I really enjoyed the tagliatelle, scallops and chorizo. Wine wasnt universally liked, although Pouilly Fume chosen by me was excellent! 😁
A little gem in the middle of Roissy within easy walking distance of the many nearby hotels. Fantastic range of beers, wines and spirits, very good coffee and very good bistro eating.Staff are very friendly and efficient. Decent sized internal area with casual and more formal seating available. Covered street address allows for the observation of the passing world as you enjoy your meal /drinks.Street level entrance.
Great food and nice terrace when warm weather. I really love the onion soup and different specialties... we will keep coming back every year
Cute place in a cute village. There is seating out front, indoors or on the back terrace. If you want quiet, the terrace is the way to go. My husband had the entrecote (steakand found it tough. I had the veal chop with melted cheese, accompanied by a large serving of potatoes Au gratin. These came in a small casserole and consisted of layer upon layer of thinly sliced potatoes in a rich sauce. A little too rich along with the veal chop, but delicious nevertheless! Specify if you want tap water, otherwise you end up paying a few Euros for Evian. Since the village and restaurant are right by the airport, they host many travelers. We found that the wait staff spoke good English and the menu items had English translations.
Excelent staff and food. Nice and cosy atmosphere.Later edit: came back and felt even better. A nice piece of French heaven cuisine.
Everything here was fantastic. Best meal Ive had on this trip. The chicken and pasta were scrumptious and the dessert was delicious. Itll be a little warm in the summer, especially if its packed with people (the convention center isnt far awaybut its worth it.
Great atmosphere. Good food, friendly staff. A scenic part of the city.
We enjoyed a lovely meal here will eat one night after flying in and staying in a hotel close to the airport everybody was so nice, and the food was absolutely amazing, and the wine was delicious as well! I highly recommend this little joint if you were in the area.
Amazing little place, not a large selection of beers. One of the best creme brûlée I have ever had. Very friendly staff and a nice homely feel to the place. The crowd here are mainly local. All in all a good experience and would definitely come back here for the amazing creme brûlée:)
Great food and atmosphere, the service was prompt but do not expect a warm welcome if you are not French. Our waiter took our order and served us but with begrudgingly. The atmosphere was warm and the food was delicious. I would go back again if I am in Roissy. Prices were fair.
