Nice looking restaurant in very good location. Unfortunately the food was a bit tasteless.

This is not my first time in this place, but this visit was a disappointment.We came in a large group to have a lunch. We all ordered the plate of the day and one fish plate. The food arrived fast. However, the food was extremely salty, you could see salt with a bare eye covering the food and plate (see the pic). None of us could finish the food. We notified the waiter, but no action was taken.Besides, the paper they use for serving the fish and chips was decaying right away: the plastic was detaching from the paper (see the pics), so that it was easy to grab and eat it by mistake. What a disappointment to discover that you potentially ate some plastic!!Overall, the location and the design of this place are very nice. The place is located in the city center, on a bank of the city river, next to a lovely park. The interior is stylish and beautiful, the seating outside on the terrace is lovely and comfy. Prices are rather high, a lunch is 145 sek which is ~ 15 eur, you get however in addition a small bowl with salad, bread, butter, a soft drink, and coffee with a cookie. The service was fast and polite.The experience with the food was unpleasant, so I wouldn’t give this place a second chance any time soon.

They asked us 4 times what we want to order then the 5th time one of the bartenders gaslit us saying we should say the flavor when we order.. we did.. FOUR TIMES BEFORE YOU! Also they charged me 70kr for a 20kr cider 🤣 the service, table nor view are worth the 3x extra money. Never coming back.

I had the most horrible Christmas lunch ever there. It was a huge disappointment in terms of food quality and customer service. Rude staff, no water and coffee refill, poor food quality and really bad service. There was no proper dessert either. Theyve only offered biscuits and candies. I do not recommend this place and the price is not worthy at all! Not coming back ever!!

Open until 8:00 Pm under COVID-19 pandemic, free parking on Sunday so you can take a walk during this season in Sweden, just a few things about the place to encourage you supporting this local business, love the place and I definitely recommend it

The venue and service is excellent. The food leaves you wanting.The drinks are good, the staff is really friendly and service is excellent. The food, is never 100%. The surf and turf, the grill on the shrimps are excellent, the meat pairing, is dry and overly fat at the same time. And this goes through all the menu. The food is good, but there is always something that is missing or not paired right. Its a shame, based on the venue and staff... The kitchen needs to step up to help the good folks in the front room.

Amazing service and delicious food.Our first night in Västeras and it was an amazing restaurant to have dinner. Beautiful location with glass walls to admire the canal and lights view.Our server had a lot of patience as we took a long time reviewing the menu, and she taught us how to say thanks and you’re welcome (3rd pic).

I really like this place, the food have always been good and the waiting staff have always been accommodating. I visited with a friend who were pregnant and requested well done, took a couple of tries before they got the food right, but there was no problem to get it corrected.

Good food and atmosphere. They are also really accommodating with food allergies (might require some advance notice though). We recently had dinner there with dietary requirements like vegetarian, milk protein and gluten allergies. They were able to accommodate all perfectly.

Passing by Västerås and tried this place for the first time with our kid. Service was perfect, food was a bit on the heavy side and it was a bit cold inside. But I would come back and the view from the place is great!

Located by the lake in the center of the city of Vasteras, this place has a nice view. Possibilities to sit outdoors, where heaters are available for your comfort. The staff was friendly and knew the menu and how to combine the different dishes with wines. Two out of the three main plates we ordered were way too salty however. i would go back and give them a second chance though.
