A nice restaurant in the neighborhood with a good selection of small dishes, soups and pastries. Usually not to busy, so no need for reservations. At this time of the year (or any time, really), we can recommend the vermicelles.

Super mediocre and expensive (for the valueplace.Apple strudel straight from the microwave piping hot, burned my mouth. Did not finish it. Its taste was not worth the carbs. Dry, very dry and barely any apple.Mediocre coffee, needed sugar to get it down. It’s a simple NO from me.Hope you can improve guys.I do not recommend.

Nice, but empty dishes of previous guests were left on several tables for way too long, was surrounded by four, five uncleaned tables for perhaps 15 minutes while the restaurant was maybe half full, therefore not due to stress but rather due to complete unawareness.Prices are quite high, coffee & cake cost "an arm and a leg"

The owner had asked for more feedback. I have only just seen this after 2 months. My feedback is that even though it was not very busy, it still took quite some time for the servers (who were talking among themselvesto notice I was seated and wanted to order. They were polite and nice once they realised I was there. The food was good.

Latte macchiato tastes like soap. I think they did not wash out the soap from the glass, and just added coffee to it. The waitress did not even apologise or offer to replace my drink.....it would take a big effort to come here again

The café was AMAZING!!!It had a lovely atmosphere and the employees were really kind and thoughtful.The menu had a variety of food… from ice cream and waffles to pastas and pizza. Everything looked and smelled amazing!I will say that our wallets had to suffer since the food was on the expensive side but at the end of the day, the food was worth it!I highly recommend this place ❤️

Nice selection of bakery products. However, the barista working seems unprofessional and lost. He messed up my white chocolate mocha for matcha… when I realised I asked to change it for another drink. When the cheque came, they wanted to charge me for both drinks (wrong order too). Kind of bizarre.

The waitress asked us within less than 10 minutes 3 times if we are ready to order. Super stressful.

Just ok food. Nothing special or mouth-watering. I order a Bonhomme pastry which was super boring with a special coffee that came very cold. Service was friendly.

Good coffee, great little pizza and a really comfortable setting. We didnt go for any sweets but they were very tempting.

Its a café. Good pastries, you can have decent food at lunch there, its cosy. On a good day Id might give it 5stars but today I dont. As I was there today, they had the chance to cheer me up but they didt manage. And this is what i expect of excellent gastronomy - to make me feel good. But you could still give it a try, La vie en Rose is quite ok.

The cappuccino was great, much better than other places we tried in Lucerne and Zurich. The muesli was also great.Service and atmosphere is also good.

My wife and I grabbed a quick breakfast in this charming bakery. I had a chicken curry that could have had a bit more curry flavor. My wife had the pizza that was really excellent. We didnt try any pastries but that seems like the main draw. The pastries looked amazing.

Open on weekends. Nice coffee, food and sweets. Super busy but nice location and friendly staff.

Number 1 for me Lucerne. Has everything in one place: great coffee: classics and different frappes and coffee drinks, drink menu is impressive with coctails, wines, etc. Pizzas very tasty (not classic Italian style though), very good selection of desserts.Interior is stylish and modern.

Nice lights and beautiful interior overall. Looks like a true bar where you can drink with your friends. Had a croissant with coffee at the afternoon, it was really calm and cozy. Desserts are also outstanding, absolutely recommended place

A nice place with good prices! They serve the coffee with a glass of water, which I appreciate a lot. Staff is attentive and friendly. Its a quite big coffeeshop and they also serve meals and desserts

Love the decor, the bright colors and the stone walls, has character. Deserts looked delicious, and our raspberry cream pastry was good. The beef sandwich was so so, but the tuna salad was great. Both latta and green ice tea were very flavorful!

Best part is the ambience. Modern and comfy. Beef panini is good. latte is just OK. Raspberry cream pie is great, very delicious

Good menu selection. Prices were fair (40CHF for panini, pizza, espresso and a dessert). The pizza would comfortably feed two for lunch. Coffee was good and served with a glass of water. A good place to people watch - if thats your thing sit outside!All of the staff were friendly and polite. We would visit again!

An up-market coffee shop, very cute. A little pricey but the coffee, cake and pastries were delicious!

Classy environment, decent coffee, and good food. The prosciutto panino was very delicious. Definitely recommend! Also, prices are reasonable as well.
