Upscale chain brasserie serving a classically French menu devised by celebrity chef Raymond Blanc.
Visited for bruch today with the family. The food itself was really lovely and fresh. But the waiting staff were rude and their lack of attention and poor attitude really let the visit down.
Beautiful coffee shop...meal not great value for money.. a note to management. If your customers comes in between 11am and 12 am offer them a croissant or pastry of sorts when ordering a hot drink...we were told no food available at that time as lunch was to be served only from 1200. We could wait or go somewhere else.
Was invited for a leaving partyThe restaurant atmosphere was very good and staff very nice & friendly. My started was a lovely souffléMy main the fishcake not so much it was full of herbs and not much fish it was very overpowering a thick sauce on plate not many vegetablesI was disappointed..I may have chosen wrong for myself so I will go back to try other things ..3 ladies decided to have a last drink so 3 med glasses of wine were £37 very expensive I thought and no they were all different so a bottle could not be bought ..
Beautiful decor. Staff were fab. Food was amazing. Not a one course kind of restaurant. Its ideal for a proper meal not grabbing a bite.
Excellent atmosphere delicious food great quality for your money certainly will return
Generally very good, sad at lack of Moules on new menu. Pistachio sofflé looked and tasted superb but had aroma of hot vodka with imitation vanilla somewhat spoiled the otherwise exceptional soufflé
Spent a lovely evening here with close friends and the atmosphere was spot on with a great waitress looking after us for everything we needed.Food was really good. Pork belly was exactly how I like it and the chef provided endless supply of additional crackling!
Super dinner this evening to celebrate a special friends birthday. Escargot for me as a treat to start! 5 of us, everyone had something different and all clean plates x 3 courses. And, of course a few glasses..... Delighted we chose this restaurant
Always like this place good service and friendly staff
Beautiful food. Excellent service. Good choice on the menu. Nice venue. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Had family over visiting and we went here on a Friday evening for dinner, everyone had a great time and i would highly recommend it.
Had lunch here.Restaurant is nice and comfortable, service is very efficient and discreet.Food is well prepared and presented but definitely adapted to the unadventurous English palate typical of the area.Sausage starter was good.I had the smoked pork belly for main which was cooked ok (a little bit drybut struggled to taste the smoke. Cracklings were nice. The jus served with it was oily and didnt add much. Cabbage and potatoes were nothing special. I was expecting the rhubarb to be strong and pickled but it was actually sweet and had totally lost its tartness. Quite a plain dish all together. My wife had the fish curry and again, it was cooked well but very sweet/bland. She even had to add salt. The desserts were also hit and miss. The savarin was quite dry, with an overly sweet syrup on top. The red fruits were also too sweet. The souffle was nice. Liked the hint of pistacchio and the dark chocolate on the outside. Not too bad altogether but definitely expected the food to have more character.
We came on Tuesday for lunch with my family. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. The food was excellent especially my fillet steak dinner and the others had fish and pan fried chicken which was delicious 😋 Looking forward coming back soon.
Only my third visit. Each time I ask myself why I havent treated myself more often. As with many true professionals, a seemingly effortless efficiency is undoubtedly the result of a lot of hard work and commitment. Good food, very nicely presented. An inobtrusive but friendly, attentive and evidently happy team. A very nice place to be.
Light and airy with excellent service. Food was excellent, well priced and interesting. I.e. baked haddock curry
Good quality cuisine, informal atmosphere. We took advantage of a Virgin voucher to have a 3 course set menu with a glass of house wine for 2 on a Friday night which was busy but not overly. I had the vegan options: the Moroccan Mezze starter was excellent (lush aubergine, artichoke, humus, salad, bread). The butternut squash main was good with some Tabasco but slightly dry without the feta and the mango crumble quite nice but maybe a bit too much crumble. My arch enemy enjoyed her chicken liver parfait with gluten free bread, excellent duck leg confit and was able to swap in a gluten free chocolate fondant with ginger with the only complaint being about over indulgence. Overall a pleasant evening and I wish there was a Brasserie Blanc closer to home. We parked opposite the church and walked 5mins round the corner.
We had a great time! Had great mojitos to start. We had the duck leg and the sirloin steak. The only problem was that my steak was overdone, but when I mentioned it to them they instantly offered to bring me new one, so that was nice. The steak sauce was so good! I would come back just to eat that 😅 Staff was great, friendly, welcoming and able to provide recommendations about the food and drinks. For dessert we had the pistachio souffle and a salted caremel expresso martini, both great. Definitely recommend the souffle.
Food was just OK and the server polite but gave us a "look" when we asked for the bill to be split!! Probably wont go back as I expected more value for my money
Delicious lunch and superb service. Flexible in meeting your needs. Enjoyed fish in coconut curry with rice and dessert was superb.
Unfortunately we found our waitress miserable as if she didnt want to be there.food was ok but we expected I guess a lot more as it as the Blanc name expensive gor what we had
What a dry and dreary uninspired lunch service was excellent but the roast and vegetables were not. The veg all felt like theyd been in a warming drawer for hours, and probably had.
Beautiful place, lovely food and desserts and very friendly staff. High recommend the pistachio soufflé!
Really delicious mussels. I took my 98 year grandma with mobility issues. Staff were very accommodating with her and allowed us to sit close to the door in a quiet space. Good service and floor to match - great!
An excellent choice if you are looking for an upmarket brasserie experience. The menu was varied catering for all tastes, the food was tasty, as described and beautifully presented as you would expect from a restaurant bearing Raymond Blancs name. The service was professional and all the staff we interacted with made us feel welcomed and wanted. We visited on a Friday evening and the restaurant was full to capacity however we never felt they were struggling to serve us on time with each course arriving after a perfectly timed intermission.
We were served at first indifferently. My Gin and Tonic was drowned by more water than ice. We ordered fish cakes which had been cooked with rancid oil sitting on a pile of tasteless vegetables. In particular the leeks which were super stringy.
Great meal at Brasserie Blanc which is a firm favourite of mine. The service has improved significantly since earlier in the year as they now seem to have the appropriate number of staff, to staff the restaurant. My only comments would be it would be good to see the menu change a bit. It has been the same it feels for a while. Particularly the kids options I don’t think they have changed for a long while. Will definitely be back great meal in lovely setting.
Great food, good location and fantastic atmosphere. The only let downs: they no longer serve steak tartare and the asparagus/ poached egg starter was a real disappointment- overly deconstructed and fussy. I am hopeful that the menu gets back to its previous glory soon.
Absolutely wonderful evening, made especially wonderful by Daniella who looked after us the whole evening- she was incredibly attentive, friendly and kind, and made sure we had a very special evening! Thanks to all the lovely staff at Brasserie Blanc, we will be back soon!
Excellent atmosphere. Went for Sunday lunch which was really yummy. All staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back. Also the birthday girl got a glass of bubbly :)
We have most of our family events here now as they just get it right. Food is great, not crazy prices, staff are always fun and efficient. Consistency is one of the hardest things to achieve in any business but they manage to keep the level of service and food quality high. Recommended.
Very welcoming with good food. Shout out to Pedro, our waiter, who looked after us brilliantly. He was especially attentive of my 91 year old Mum who felt like royalty. Thank you Pedro.
Had a wonderful meal. Tasty food and friendly staff.
Very tasty. Friendly staff. Got the order mixed up but was quick to make it right.EDIT:Everything was fab on this visit
Came here for anniversary dinner. Our 5 year old told the staff it was a special occasion and very unexpectedly they brought us a complimentary glass of bubbles and mock bubbles for son. Excellent customer service. Confi Duck delicious.
I visited with a good friend who has been here before, Im now embarrassed to say that I didnt this was on my own doorstep, but Im very happy I found it.The service was completely on point from the minute you step in to the time you left, our waiter was patient, had a good sense of humour and ran his tables like a complete professional, adapted his approach to different tables, and was beyond professional, top drawer service.Next - the food, was absolutely amazing, every single thing I was served was the correct temperature, tasted amazing and was the first restaurant to understand that coffee doesnt need to served scolding hot from the machine so I can enjoy it straightaway, I had the burger and ice cream - and even though its a staple everywhere its small attentions to detail that set this apart which also made this dish very flavoursome. The decor is very classic but with a modern touch - even though tables are close, for some reason it never feels cramped and it was a busy Friday night and the place was full of patrons. This venue has managed to combine, service, atmosphere and food into a great experience for everyone, whether it be big gatherings, familys or just yourself, I really do think they would look after you.Id never been tempted to want to give an extra star, but this place truly deserves it, Im fully aware its a chain and may suit everyones budget but Id prefer to pay extra for the feeling this place leaves you with. This one makes my personal top three, for service, food and feeling. Well done Brasserie Blanc Beaconsfield team.
We enjoyed a delicious family meal on Sunday evening.Service was really good and nothing too much trouble.Great, buzzy atmosphere.Particularly enjoyed the Fish and coconut curry and the Pork Belly. We hope to return soon.
Fantastic service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere! Have already recommended this restaurant to friends and family!
Not a bad experience here… took my in laws here a few weeks ago for a meal, staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t fault them.We asked for steaks (two rare and one mediumand unfortunately all steaks came medium - well.We sent them back which isn’t something we expected at such a highly rated / priced place. However, staff handled it really professionally and returned with steaks cooked to perfection.Would definitely return to maybe try something else.
Lovely food and friendly staffs x
We had a lovely time! It’s my parents anniversary so we thought we’d go out to celebrate and we were not disappointed!! Food was incredible and the service was amazing! We were served by Gerda who was outstanding and made us feel so welcome! All of our food came so quickly and we were very well taken care of! Will definitely be coming back. Thank you! :)
Delicious food as always, we had the pistachio soufflé and it was amazing!! Also, our waiter was very friendly and helpful.
Superb breakfast. Smashed avocado swung it for the full vegetarian breakfast over the full English. Was not disappointed
Got a Voila at Home kit - excellent!Good price, easy to follow instructions, delicious food, well packaged. Could only be improved by having more environmentally friendly packing.Thank you!
The food tastes good, the atmosphere is a little off, the staff come across intense and stressed.
Excellent food. We had a Sunday roast which was extra special with a pulled pork bon bon on the side of the pork roast! Dessert was also amazing - would highly recommend the pistachio souffle, you wont be disappointed! Make sure to book a table as was full for Sunday lunch! And felt covid safe as well with anti bac everywhere and staff wearing visors.
Very accommodating for a party of 4 adults and 2 kids. Kids menu available made it easier to choose. Allergens menu is also available on request. There is a 3 hour parking area at the back. Very likely to return.
Excellent! The restaurant was nice the floor of the restaurant was quite large, good space toove around without any hassle. The services was very helpful and kind. The food was delicious!I had,Starter: EscargotsMain: Muscles in lovely Thai Curry SauceDesert: Hot Chocolate in a glass!Would recommend!
Delicious food paired with warm staff. Family friendly making it a perfect place for a weekend catch up. Would definitely return and highly recommend.
Hidden away in Beaconsfield this restaurant is a gem. The food is excellent and the price is decent for the quality of food and service. Its a big venue and can get pretty busy. They have a bar in the front with casual and cosy seating with more fine dining towards the back of the premise. They waiter was really helpful and very friendly making it an enjoyable experience for all of us including my 3 year old daughter. They have a kids menu as well. There is street parking at the front which is free if you manage to get a spot in time. Family friendly and definitely recommend.
What a fabulous birthday celebration! We dined on a Friday evening around 630. The Restuarant was decorated in festive lights and baubles. The ambiance was perfect. The food was delicious. We ordered the mushroom and truffle risotto and the sautéed mushrooms on sourdough bread. Both dishes were sizeably portioned and very flavourful.Highly recommend this place. Our waiter Will was outstanding. Thank you!
