Braddicks Holiday Centre - Holiday Park North Devon in Bideford

A good place for a breakaway holiday with the calming sounds of the waves over everything. Not too busy when I visited, many of the kids activities were not opened either.

Absolutely love this place been coming here since 1999.We recently lost our mother this was her most favourite place on earth, we have just scattered her ashes here. So we will definitely be coming down for a few more years yet.Weve already booked up for next year.

Always have a good time at braddicks, friendly, efficient, staff. Lovely views from paws.weather fantastic, swimming in the rock pool in October.

We go back every year stayed in pet friendly caravans and chalets all very clean and tidy highly recommend

Great place to stay, Caravan was fantastic, everything we need, central heating, fabulous shower, balcony to sit outside. Would highly recommend to stay. A great Beach just a 5mins walk away and great place to end the day to watch the sun setting The on site restaurant was excellent too and amusements kept us entertained too

Lovely holiday park on the gorgeous North Devon coastline. Westward Ho is looking as gorgeous as ever and the caravan has everything we need for the weekend.

Small park with well spaced and clean caravans/ lodges and really nice staff. Excellent location, 5-7 mins convenient walk to the beach with a host of places to eat and drink. The pier house restaurant on the premises also offers good food.

Our first family holiday here and it wont be our last!Our Tours Caravan was beautiful with a lovely decking with sea views... Great to sit and relax!The site isnt far from beach and some great places to eat!

Excellent accomodation, clean, tidy, well organised, with a great restaurant and bar. Amazing views and a short walk into the town of Westward Ho! which has amazing beaches and plenty of places to eat and drink. Its a small town, that punches above its weight in the seaside town stakes. Enjoyed our stay so much we took up the offer of an extra night at a discounted rate.

Love this place. Like home from home. Definately going back

A nice simple place to stay. Peaceful views of the sea (well if there wasnt a bloody great big Nassau court, apartment complex in the way anyway).Friendly staff, free WiFi and plenty of parking. Easy walk to the bus stops as well with good access to bideford, appledore and further afield.

Clean dog friendly a really good place to stay by the coast

Location could not have been better. Site was immaculate. Caravan was well presented & well maintained.

I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was until we got there! Westward Ho Beach, Bideford Bay and the British Channel are a must go to and see! We visited Appledore, and Biddeford, stopped in shops and ate and drank lattes and an Americano coffee! Can’t forget the teas and the English breakfast! We stayed a week Monday to Sunday on the beach! The restaurants and food were all fabulous and the employees were all very polite which makes it that much more peaceful, comfortable and enjoyable! I will definitely recommend this for all considering to get away on a holiday for a few days or a week or two! 5 Stars!!!!! For certain.

Lovely here. Beautiful large, clean caravans. Quiet site but with a restaurant and bar, with excellent food. Sometimes entertainment. Never noisy at night. Fun arcade for kids. Few minutes flat walk to central westward ho. Overlooking the sea.

Absolutely fantastic place to come and stay, very family friendly with an arcade, a great restaurant that serves top quality food, all the staff are friendly and helpful, the caravans are absolutely spotless and all fairly new, plenty of parking and spectacular views of the sea, theres nothing not too love if you are after a non hassle relaxing stay braddicks is the place too go,

Fabulous place with wonderful views of the sea from most of the caravans. we had one directly the shore front. lovely comfy caravans, comfy beds. I think braddicks make a fabulous job of cleaning the vans, they were pristine and attention to covid safety was paramount. we were very impressed. its a great area and everyone who visits here must try a hockings ice cream, they are the best ever.

Had a fabulous platinum caravan on the seafront, views were amazing, sunsets to die for, caravan was spotless, very room, everything you could want, will definitely return, had a fantastic time.

Have just returned from a lovely week away with family.Accommodation was as always spotless.Even though not the best weather,we still had a good time.We will be booking for next year,over the next couple of days,normally do this as we leave but it was busy,as a the pier house was being set up for a wedding.Once again thank you for a wonderful week.

Had a lovely quiet break here, would definitely go again. The views from the accommodation were stunning and the beds comfortable.

Absolutely love this place. Staff are so friendly. The accommodation is spotless, warm, welcoming and very well maintained. Nothing is too much trouble. We went during the less busy time of year so was very quiet and relaxing. Loved every minute.

A very well run family business which owns many venues in Westward Ho! The owner Rob has a great sense of humour and community. Well worth a visit... Especially the Pier House with its fantastic location. A very good menu and the opportunity to eat whilst looking out over the sea to Lundy Island. Great wedding and live music venue too

Great short break in a seafront caravan, a short walk from resort centre. Fab views of waves, beach and other side of estuary. Clean and comfortable caravan with good heating and shower. The Pier House, on-site restaurant, offers food of high standard, real ale, big range of gins and wine list.

Came down for 10 days in October fantastic accommodation stayed in number 69 the decks for 7 nights then moved over to budget no 47 but both accommodations spotlessly clean and comfortable with great views over the beach fantastic place .Would recommend to anyone for quiet break or even if you want to go fishing....

These guys are amazing. We’ve brought our family here at least 3 times a year. The best memories are made with Braddicks team. Pier house is the best restaurant in the whole of the UK! Thank you Braddicks

Stayed in a pet friendly caravan in May 2021. Easy check-in, friendly staff, nice modern caravan/lodge. The master was a good size but the two additional bedrooms were a bit tight. Well equipped and modern. Loved the deck with a Seaview. Lovely location and at that time of year, easy parking too!

Excellent stay currently still here lovely accommodation excellent staff in all departments lovely clean warm chalet well equipped lovely comfortable beds modern accommodation dog friendly in the PAWS chalets grounds lovely clean areas lawns mowed beautifully right beside the sea couldn’t ask for anything more well done ALL staff been coming to westward Ho now 50 years and love the place can’t fault it and I will continue coming to Braddicks holiday centre for many many years to come

A great little caravan park which offers a great range of caravans for rental. Spotlessly clean site and and plenty of easy parking next or near your chosen caravan. Easy to check in and have great views of the sea from the caravan veranda.

Some of the accommodation could be from the 50s, some a bit newer, and lots of it brand new. We have stayed here many times over the years, and are very happy in the older accommodation, well maintained and comfortable. The new stuff looks excellent too.

Not like the picturesVery disappointingWouldnt recommend...Thanks for your response Braddocks..The brochure/website didnt show the broken foot shelf that was jaggers and dangerous..it also didnt show the carpet stained and filthy and settees materail worn down...Didnt show the shower clip in the way of washing anything below the waist.The radiators that didnt work. A call from customer service to advise we want an upgrade at a few more hundred pounds would of been uselful,I would of happily paid the difference..No entertainment. Covid permitting I agree with that one.you did offer us vouchers,which my mum accepted,the other option was a refund and drive back straight away.. my mum has had a triple by pass..and realy didnt want the drive back. We wouldnt of been able to go anywhere else as its all booked up. You can clearly see all the money has gone on the platinum. I wasnt expecting the gold to be 5 star luxury..just clean tidy to a standard that is acceptable..and I was very disappointed.

Great family run site which has benefited from a lot of reinvestment. New caravans club house refurbishment lower and higher decking outside. There is a large restaurant and entertainment room which is also used for weddings. There is a costal walk to one side and a short walk to westward ho! To the other.

My partner and IJust spent a week at Brafdicks Holiday Centre and it is an amazing placeWe had an amazing holiday we stayed in one of their upgraded apartments and it was beautiful, the sea views are also amazing,The upgrade is second to none.My partner booked a table at the pier houseFor my birthday and the food is 1st class,Also the staff,we had a lovely waiter who couldnt do enough for us he is a lovely young man,We cant wait to go back,And would definitely recommend Braddicks Holiday Centre to anyone.We thoughrally enjoyed ourselves.

Just arrived home after an amazing week at Braddicks. Whole family celebration, 5 caravans booked and all very happy with our accommodation. Spotlessly clean and well equipped .Great staff and service all round.Special mention to Dave n Peter at the Pier House and the lovely maintenance man who cut our grass and always had time for a chat .Already booked 3 caravans for next year .Cant recommend highly enoughWell done Rob Braddick ,youve got a great team 👍

Have been here many times. Absolutely fantastic. Stayed in one of the static caravans with our two grandsons over New Years Eve. Overlooking the sea. What can you wish for more. X

The cabins are amazing the view from the one I stayed in is beautiful, the cabin itself is clean really comfortably decor give you a calm relaxing atmosphere, rabbits hopping around in the day and night, the only thing I could say bad is no spatula had everything else needed but that. I stayed in cabin 69

Great holiday site with incredible views. The accommodation is high standard and everything is in your doorstep or a short stroll away. The only thing I would recommend is that they bring in holiday park car parking permits to prevent the spaces on site being taken by non residents visiting the beach.

Stayed here twice and its an amazing site. Stayed in two different caravans, both of which were newer models. Excellent space, however noise from neighbouring vans carries very easily - especially kids running back and forth. The team were always helpful and accomodating. Perfectly placed, and just a very short stroll to the village green.

My wife and I, along with our teenage children, stayed in a Tors caravan over the early May bank holiday in 2021. The quality of the caravan way exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean, spacious, light, great beds and linen, an ensuite and superb power-shower, wi-fi etc etc! I could go on. The fact that it had a deck facing the sea and space to park 2 cars right next to it were a real bonus. This was all fantastic but, when you then add in that it was only yards from the always brilliant Pier House which serves up wonderful food and drinks and even better views and sunsets from its perfect large outdoor decks, you have an absolute winning combination for a great family holiday. We spent the weekend enjoying walks along the fabulous Westward Ho! beach, body-boarding and enjoying the icecreams and seafood that this area is so rightly famed for. Weve visited North Devon many many times over the years to see family but I dont think weve discovered a more winning combination for a family break than Braddicks Holiday Centre. A holiday park that serves up 5-star accommodation, location and views along with gormet food and drink at an incredible competitive price. In a post-lockdown world where we are looking for staycations, need outdoor space to eat and have had our holiday budgets pressured, I really cannot think of a better place to head for a holiday.

Really great value and a lovely place to stay. The sea is right there, the SW coast path is right there and the seafront and town is right there too. It really was great and well be back. We mainly went for the day trip to Lundy and the all day car park is only an 8m drive away right next to where the ferry goes from.

Lovely caravans/chalets etc. Dogs welcome in a few caravans. People are very friendly. Food is amazing, and lots of it. Shame the Pier House doesnt do breakfast because being elderly and both with walking difficulties, it was too far to walk to their sister restaurant in the town. Set looking out to sea, our views from caravan kept us amused.Had most of our evening meals in the Pier House, again would have been nice to have a more varied choice of meals but we appreciated that its mainly due to Covid 19 that menu has stayed same. We did ask for smaller portions, which they were happy to do. Overall, a great place to relax.

We have two dogs so stayed in a paws villa. It was very clean with pleasant furnishings. We stayed for two weeks so saw a few coming and goings. The cleaning crew were very thorough and spent a good amount of time on each accommodation. I felt covid safe. I would have given it a five but the villa we stayed in was next to a road so the privacy and quiet was comprised a bit. The outside area to each villa was bigger than I expected and very safe for us to leave the door to the villa open without worrying about the dogs escaping. The staff were very friendly and informative. Westward Ho! is a lovely place with plenty to do in the surrounding area. I remember going to Bradicks with my parents when I was a young child some 50 odd years ago. Although it has changed somewhat, it provoked some very fond memories. A very nice site.

Nice place to stay with the family, reminds me of when I was younger and with my grandparents on holiday, very central, just park car and forget about it, so many great places to eat including a restaurant on site and in the centre its lively at night and a very safe bathing pool in the sea. Our cabin is dog friendly, not too flash just right for a getaway! Has a varanda, second year of coming cant wait to return 🌟

This is our first stay at Braddicks but it wont be our last!Its a wonderful place for a family holiday with the pooch. We are staying in a 3 bedroom pet friendly caravan with a terrace overlooking the sea. The van was really clean and ready for us when we arrived. The Pier restaurant serves great food, a little pricy but it is justified when you eat there. The steak was cooked perfectly and the pitcher of purple haze went down a treat!The local shops are only a short walk away across the sea front and you can get everything you need for your stay. The town is really laid back and peaceful.

Lovely and clean. Spacious. Wonderful view. Watch sunset every night. Quiet beginning of July 2019. You could hear the sea lapping against the shore. Short walk to village and walks along coast. Staff very polite and helpful. Close to restaurant and other amenities.
