Boukarou Lounge in Yaounde

One of the best places of leisure in Yaounde, which is complete with a live musical band and restaurant that serves the best pizzas. Nothing has changed at Boukarou. In fact, I have a feeling they are falling off their standard.

Cosy place + Delicious food and the most important thing is that they have clean toilets (it was quite rare during my stay), but the service is very poor. The waitress is very rude and doesnt smile. Her attitude makes you think shes annoyed to have customers...and I dont get why they refuse to give the wifi password. They say it belongs to the director. There is room for improvement.

Excellent spot for weekend relaxation

Very nice cultural and authentic place, very helpful and delightful staff. Went for the lunch buffet, excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely visit for an evening of entainment with the live band!

The food was freshly cooked and tasty. They have a variation of local dishes. Yummy There were less flies as other places.

Super cool. A great place for an artist to.showcase his talent. I went for a musical concert and i was greatly pleased. The stage was very nicely set up and the service as well.

Good music but service kinda slow

Very very lively place to have a night out with friends also a good place to add to your visit Lizzy of youre visiting. Theres no dull moment. From the time I stepped in to when I left. The ambience is very traditional African the music is a mix depending on the performers. Anyone visiting will be aired to get immersed into Cameroonian music

The live music is good, but the food sélection was limited to the grill. Can get crowded at the weekend. Opens all night.

Hit and miss. The live music is great. It starts at around 10pm. The layout and design are cool. The grilled food is ok (chicken/ steak), the pizzas are not great. Not all food on the menu was available.Prices. A bottle of wine starts at 20K XAF. You need 30k( 50 eurosfor a decent bottle. On busy days, ordering bottles is required for a better seat. My recommendation, visit mid week, and avoid busy weekends.

Its a wonderful place to have your choice meal on Boukaro buffet. Have the best of Cameroon dishes as well western style dishes as well you wont regret u did. The lone challenge would be parking space on busy week days but its worth the challenge.
