We arrived at the beach across from our hotel on Friday at 4:40pm. We told the attendant that we have free chair rental from our hotel. No problem, she asked for our name and room number and then asked if we wanted to rent an umbrella (not included). We opted to rent and pay for an umbrella. We followed the young man who set up two chairs and an umbrella and then at 5:21pm this same young man comes back and literally just takes our umbrella and said he will be back for the chairs as well. There was no warning, he just took the umbrella as we were sitting right there under the umbrella in our chairs. He said, sorry, we are closing @ 5:30pm. No one including the attendant nor this same young man that set it up told us that they would be closing in a few minutes. Otherwise we would have never rented. We asked for a refund and he said sorry, we are closed. We will be contacting Hilton. I’m sure this is not how the city of Miami nor Hilton Hotels expect their customers to be treated. Taking money for a rental and then taking the rental back after just 30+ minutes is fraud. Do not rent from this company.
Great for experience terrible for work , company will refuse to help me receive my last check . In this company you will be fired for not dressing or acting how they tell you to . ceaser is one of the worst bosses I’ve ever worked for .
After renring a chair and an umbrella for like 43 dollars, the staff keep asking if we pay for it, demanding to show the vouchers in a rude way, even though they saw us paying. Not a way i want to be bother when I am trying to relax near the beach.
We stayed at the B Ocean and asked on Saturday about a cabana rental for Sunday. Girl with glasses said there was only 2 left and it was $120 for the whole day from 9am-6pm so we reserved it.Cabanas not ready at 9am, no towels until 11am, and they take the umbrellas away at 5pm. We discovered upon check out we were charged $160.50 plus tax for the quoted $120. The hotel manager went to speak to the same lady who blatantly lied and denied what she communicated and said they told everyone the prices were higher for the holiday weekend.... total lie. These people are truly shysters....quoted different umbrella rental prices to different people... guess they see what they think you can afford ugh

HOLLYWOOD BEACH STAFF CHARGE $130 FOR A BENCH WITH TWO COUCHES. I MIGHT AS WELL RENT ANOTHER ROOM. RIDICOUSLY EXPENSIVE. YESTERDAY IT WAS 30$ CASH. THIS IS A RIP OFF!
Ive dealt with this company before, and it sounds like theyve just gotten worse. The staff is very rude and unprofessional.and Ive seen them work "deals" for who they want to. As Im looking for a place to rent beach chairs and umbrellas all I see are terrible reviews and some "copy and paste" responses from the admin team telling customers to give you all a chance to make it right "in person".. LOL! What a joke. You all know that your customers are tourist right? When will they get a chance for you to make it right in person? You need to get it right the first time, stop being unprofessional, and stop ripping people off!I will be in Miami on August 26th and 27th. Since making it right is your motto, I will contact the number that you have been putting on your reviews to see what that looks like.

The beds were perfect, but got scammed by these fellas. You pay way more than what is communicated.

I have a 3 year old boy. Went to the beach before opening for the fiftth day in a row paying $60 a day . The beach was desert at 9 am and my boy sat on one chair. We were rudely approached by an employee who told us to move away immediately. We told him we wanted to rent two chairs and two umbrella and that was the perfect place since another family with children was coming. He told us to move away anyway and wait till 10 am to pay for it. We then rented from another place on another beach. Vety rude!
We paid for 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas for $150 & we invited over some friends. This guy came over and harassed us. Saying our friends need to pay another 150, when the day is almost over!!! So unprofessional. I would understand if it was early in the morning but it’s already 3pm and we were only going to be here for 30 minutes. Will never rent from this company ever again. I’d rather pay $120 to buy my own tent and chairs
Charged way too much to rent beach chairs. I did not purchase them for rent. Bring your own.
We rented a cabana, chairs and umbrellas for a group of 9 at South Beach. The guys in the booth were very nice and made sure we got the best deal for our party size. We had a great time at the beach vacationing from Texas.
Scam. Unreasonable. All I wanted is a beach umbrella for an hour. The company "employees"(cheeky kidsjust repeat from the book: the company policy is full day rentals only for $20. Okay then let me get a full day rental. Oh if you dont get the beach chair with it it can only me in the back row and you cant choose which one. I just left them thinking about how to do reasonable business
Dont RENT umbrella from them. They came to close the umbrellas at 1:30 pm feels like 105° (90°because the BOSS call them and said it was "too windy". You $20 to get exposed to the sun with a 15 MPH "WIND"FML 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
The Boucher Brothers never fail to take care of me, my friends and family. We visit Siesta beach at least 3 times a year and the service is always great. Craig was very helpful and very kind!
Welcome to the famous Miami South Beach Florida ! The beautiful ocean and the golden sand, I have traveled to Miami before the war and the pandemic, and it was such a pleasure to be there ! Today the summer of 2022 Miami is full of a psychopathic wild animals - especially the staff, not all of them but a very big number. I was on a short trip vocation to Miami FL 7/1 - 7/5 , I am a bilateral double above the knee an amputee, I walk on two prosthetic legs for the past 13 years, so I went to spend the day at the beautiful beach, its alright I dont mind to pay the price to rent beach chairs and the umbrella, because of that I am missing lower body limbs above the knees, I just wanted to sit closer to the water, the staff immediately approached me and did not allowe me that - they said it is against the Miami S beach county law, I believe that across America it is illegal not to have handicapped accessibility for wheelchairs / an amputees. So I had to go back to the hotel and spend the day at the roof top pool. Therefore - if you are an amputee or you have any other physical med condition and you are going to Miami FL for a vocation, prepare yourself for the nightmare, me personally - never again vocations in the US region, Mexico only !! Never have had any problerms in Mexico on a vocation. Thank you to the staff at Boucher Brothers beach rental for your such a high service and your professional kind an attutide. Peace to everybody !
My brother is a disabled person and at the beach he tried to go for a dip so he took a chair with him but then an employee came up to him and told him that he will have to pay. My brother said "but I need to take off my legs qnd get to the the ocean "... After he said that the employee shouted at him to get off this part and took the chair thing away.
Went to Boucher brothers close to ocean drive. The guy told us they had no contract with our hotel (the greenview). We literally asked him if there is another place called Boucher brothers or maybe something else with „brothers“ in case we might have confused the name. No, he said Boucher brothers is between 14tj and 12th and he can guarantee us that they have no contract with our hotel. He had the „great“ offer to give us chairs and an umbrella for 80$!Turns out there is „Boucher brothers“ at 21st street and they are the one w‘out hotel has a contract with!Update:Went to the correct location the next day. Got two free chairs through our hotel’s contract. Had to pay 20 bucks for an umbrella to protect us from the sun. The umbrella was leaning south, so the northern chair was only shadowed hakf because the sun was shining from almost directly above. Asked the helpers to drill a new hole and put the umbrella in more straight. Got answered they were not allowed to do so, the umbrellas are supposed to lean south.Thanks for the sunburn!
I came to South Beach today to spend my last day in Miami relaxed, and Sarah completely ruined my last day here. She was rude and had an attitude the whole time she was on the phone speaking with someone while attending me! This is absurd, aside from the prices being expensive the least they can do is have workers that AT LEAST pretend to like being there and attending customers. I ended up going to a different part of the beach because whenever I would go up to her asking for prices on drinks, she wouldnt even look at me and pay attention to my questions, completely ignoring me. The girl is very unprofessional and made my experience horrible and just downed my whole mood.
Pretty sure this is the company who rents jet-skis out.. absolutely crazy! Super fun experience. The only thing is it would be nice to not be so restricted and go wherever I want.
We just came back from a week stay at Hutchinson Shores spa and resort. It is our favorite place to stay and once again we are we’re not disappointed. Ray has done a very good job mentoring the employees there. We met Ray a few years back and think the world of him. Eric and Zack took care of us this past week. They were so professional and courteous and we’re always smiling. They would check on us every hour to see if we needed anything and the day that Cape Canaveral sent up a rocket ship Eric made sure everyone on the beach knew about it . They are really a good representation of your business hope they will be there next year. Feel free to contact us if needed.
We did not rent from them, BUT…. What gentleman!!! They saw us struggling and offered to drill our hole for our umbrella… we will rent from them next time. Whoever is training these guys know what they are doing. Chivalry is not dead. Thank you Boucher Brothers!! What nice guys..
Nice beach experience but very pricey if your not staying at one of the hotels.
Yesterday memorial day weekend 9th Avenue crew delightful young men and women. We purchased the day bed they cleaned it and set up the day bed. My mother and I tipped very well. TODAY Sunday 10th Avenue the ladies who charged wonderful! But the BOY who was supposed to show us to our day bed REFUSED to walk us to the day bed and set our umbrella. He said sit wear ever you fins a spot! Disgusting the whole time we have been on this beach with the beautiful staff! This little BOY CAUSE A MAN WOULDNT TREAT WOMEN THAT WAY! with his gold teeth! I cant! The privilege is strong with that one! So unfortunately you get ONE STAR! BECAUSE HOSPITALITY should be the minimum provided by ALL your staff!!!
Longboat Key Club. As a member it’s become frustrating dealing with these folks. Poor service, taking umbrellas down due to “wind”’when there is none, broken equipment, and bad behavior. Today they seated a group with umbrellas in front of folks in the front row (not in the cabanas, which is allowedblocking views. (I’d add a photo if I could). Just not professional.
Everyone at the Hollywood Marriott location are fabulous and very accommodating to the needs and wants of beach goers.
We have enjoyed the beach chaises and umbrellas daily throughout our trip. Today, and only today, the set-up representatives asked us to pull back from the shore to about the third row. Meanwhile, all other forms of umbrellas, chairs and tents remain along the first row — as we have for weeks. Please reflect consistency in your training.and if you do have a policy to only set-up mid-beach, the policy is creating a disadvantage for your company while other. beachgoers have no restrictions. We have appreciated your services for years. Today, not so much. - Haulover. Beach Park.
This beach is clean and the staff here is friendly and professional. And they set up our Cabana really nicely and we were so comfortable they even put a sheet on our Cabana.
It’s obvious that most hotels + residential properties don’t have the resources or motivation to provide a basic service to their guests or residents, hence this is where Boucher Brothers comes in. Basically a solution for the unmotivated. In any event, the problem is that Boucher Brothers provides the lowest level of quality in their umbrellas, so if there’s a slight breeze (on the beach mind youthey refuse to give you an umbrella. The solution; purchase your own beach umbrella so there’s no reliance on Boucher Brothers. Simple.
Me and my family checked into the fountainbleau hotel, Saturday till Sunday for this Easter weekend we walked up to the beach at around 7:00pm that Saturday.i pulled a small chair to open for my 80 year old mother, a guy in a blue shirt was screaming dont touch!! the chairs we are closed. my nice 5 years old was crying i told him we just checked in the hotel,i didnt know, there was more guests looking at the guy.he then threatened us that we better remember his face while his coworkers behind him supporting him.what a coward no wonder there are soo many BAD REVIEWS with this company.
Wanted 300$ for the last hour of the day for one bed , the guy next to me paid 80$ for the hole day ..also never give your credit card for drinks ..Forth Lauderdale
While its super convenient to pay for an umbrella, your prices on the boards are outdated. We should pay the price advertised on the board.I wanted a receipt for my purchase. They dont have that option.Just train your staff better. They have no customer service skills AT ALL. I told little dude to drop my chair at the tent. He was waiting for me to pay while I am standing in line like I was going to run away
Paid cash for 4 chairs and an umbrella. Asked for a receipt , was told that “there is no option to get a receipt for cash”. Ridiculous service
Blamed us for using their umbrella just because it looks similar. Didn’t stop them from being rude even though all their umbrellas marked and outs not. God bless Miami Beach police for clearing this out

On day 1, Billy was lovely! I got the chair I wanted. I arrived at 10, just like today. I sat under a two chair umbrella and he drug the other chair away with no problem. Today I arrived and the rules are different. So now I have to sit in the second row because I’m only one person paying $40 for a chair and umbrella. This man was so rude! He kept raising his voice at me telling me that people who pay $60 sit in front. I’m the first customer here and this is how I’m being treated!!! Take your business and money elsewhere. This is BAD BUSINESS.
Even though they close at 5 … and we saw many people arriving and seating without paying in areas with umbrellas, (using their own towels…they took ours at 4:30. Still plenty others to take and I requested just 10 minutes as we were leaving. Without any comment he took it and said “the rules” … not paying attention to paying customers, their snack prices are ridiculous… not coming back here and not recommending this place … a joke.
We came here with 6 girls and were being helped to get our chairs by young woman. As we were being helped an extremely rude older man in a black shirt (looks like the managercame from behind her and started yelling at us for us to hurry! We were shocked and taken a back since we were answering all the questions and moving things along. This isn’t the type of customer service we expect on our vacation. You don’t need to be a manager if you’re going to be condescending and rude to the paying customers. Go into another line of work.
Can’t ever go wrong with Boucher Brothers services. I’ve used their service a few times and have to say the service in front of the Lowes hotel really impressed me. Kudos to the team who was on it when I was there, thanks for making a self day at the beach relaxing and enjoyable.
I knew it wasnt just me about the rudeness & the way they handle business. They told me $20 for a umbrella, but Ill be sitting directly behind 6 other people, literally my eyes on the back of someone elses head!! 🤦♀️, Which I already wouldnt be able to view the beach, becauseit was crowded, Oh & if it rained as soon as I sat down on the beach, the young lady stated they will come pick the umbrella right back up & no refund. Dont even waste yall energy on this business.
The two best words to describe this business is rude and terrible. The customer service: could not be more rude; in particular a person by the name of Miranda. I am not sure how a business hires and employs RUDE and NASTY people who are customer facing- but that is Miranda. What an awful experience the Boucher Bros give on the beach in Hollywood FL. I think these guys are associated with Air BNBs and a resort on the beach and if your staying at one associated with them, I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU. Overpriced, ripoff, rude and terrible. Great job, Boucher brothers for failing at every mark, especially your employees behind the counter ( Miranda). DO NOT COME TO HOLLYWOOD BEACH AND SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH BOUCHER BROS!
Highly recommend! Giovani was amazing! Attentive, helpful and made sure our visit to the beach was peaceful. We rented the cabana and was so worth it! Remember to tip big people, they are out here in this sun moving heavy chairs around.
I was at Haulover Beach today with a group of 18 people & we rented 16 chairs and 8 umbrellas. After paying for the rentals, I asked how what was the allotted time for the rentals and I was told 6 hours. My party arrived at the beach around 3:30 pm & completed our purchases at 3:56 pm. At 6:20 an employee began to ask us to remove our belongings and they began removing the chairs and umbrellas. I informed him that I was told we had 6 hours. He stated “naw we close at 6. It’s on the sign.”There was no sign to be found and then he turned around and said “we’re not about to play these games.” I informed him that I wasn’t playing games. That is when he said show me your receipt. I showed him the receipt & he continued to collect the chairs and umbrellas.Upon me removing my belongings off the chair I asked what was the name of the company. He gave it to me and then tried to apologize for his behavior and said it must’ve been miscommunication.The guys who checked us & set up the umbrella and chairs were professional, courteous & positive. They were a good representation of what good customer service should be like. The collecting guy end up apologizing for his behavior but I have a feeling that’s probably not his first time behaving like that.

BETTER RENT FROM ANOTHER CO. RUDENESS IS LIMITLESS HERE!I never experienced such a rudeness from a customer service representative!I will never ever come back and never suggest this rental to any of my friends. We paid a big chunk of money to rent chairs and umbrellas here. Person who supposed to help us was not friendly, not nice, pretending not to see us for a while, took him forever to provide a rental.When he provided us with a chairs and umbrella and was about to walk away, I kindly asked to get a towels cover ups. Instead of being polite, this rude human being told me that he doesnt have these on his behind, and I have to be patient! How dare are you to talk with customer and a stranger in such a manner? He didnt even come back and never apologized.Dear manager, this is not only super unpleasant experience during a vacation in one of the most beautiful beaches in USA but also unacceptable! Shame and dishonor!
Good service...friendly. South Miami beach rentals was $20 chair $20 umbrella. If you are larger group opt for day bed that comes with day bed, 2 umbrella and 2 chairs. I think it was $120. They do sell drinks...water soda etc for $5. No alcohol sold.Timing wise...we got there around 10am on a Friday morning and had water front location. The beach started filling up by noon. It wasnt during a spring break week or summer break though.
My wife and I needed a getaway. We both work in healthcare and had not been able to get away in over a year due to COVID. We planned a quick trip to Hollywood Beach. A place we had never been to before, but it had sand, surf, and sunshine so we booked the flights, hotel, packed our bags, and went. We had never been to Hollywood Beach and didn’t know a thing about it all we know is that we wanted to soak up some sunshine and enjoy the local cuisine.Day one at Hollywood beach; We have never rented chairs, cabanas, umbrellas, etc. After finding our hotel did not have chairs were on the fence as if we should buy cheap chairs and just leave them when we were done with them or rent chairs. We decided to rent and are we glad we did. On the first day, Lawrence was our beach chair attendant. Lawrence was FANTASTIC. He walked us through the whole process was more than accommodating and was extremely friendly. I wanted to make sure my wife and I had chairs even though we were not ready to come to the beach for the day yet. I purchased them early, placed towels on them and they were there when my wife and I made it to the beach. He was such a great person who you could tell cared about his job and cared about the customer experience. A storm rolled in later that afternoon and he was so apologetic that our day at the beach had been cut a little short. He waited until the very last possible time to ask us to leave because of the storm. Lawrence is fantastic.Day two at Hollywood Beach; I went back to the same chair rental to secure chairs for another day as we had enjoyed them so much the day before. I was a little disappointed Lawrence was not working. Billy was though and like Lawrence, Billy was fantastic. Exceeded our expectations. Billy had the swagger of a manager or owner of the business with his attention to detail and very evident love for his job. You could tell he was personally invested in customer experience. Additionally, Billy’s knowledge of the area was fantastic. Not knowing much about the area we asked him for dining suggestions to which he gave us advice. We took his advice and had the best meal of our trip. Thank you, Billy, for not only a great day at the beach but a great dinner suggestion.So here is the takeaway. If you go to Hollywood Beach, the chair/cabana rentals for Boucher Brothers are well worth the money. The prices are more than fair, the lounge chairs were fantastic. I am 63" and usually hang over lounge chairs but fit perfectly on Boucher Brothers chairs. The customer service was top-notch, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and all about ensuring the best customer experience. I know when my wife and I go back to Hollywood Beach, we hope to see Lawrence and Billy again.
I was so disappointed in their customer service. I am on vacation for a quick weekend and the first night was great! I wish I got his name. The second day we were screamed at from across the beach saying we had to check in.We needed 4 chairs. He said that it wasn’t allowed and it was $250 for a beach chair. The beach was not crowded (11:30and there were so many chairs open.I asked instead of the umbrella because it was so windy they weren’t putting them up if I can I have an extra chair. They gave us such a hard time that a girl sat on the floor.There customer service was just so poor and I was beyond disappointed. I paid a resort fee for a reason.Very disappointed and hope to never run into this company again.
