Rue Mohamed Belouizdad, Belouizdad, Algeria, Bab Ezzouar
Elegant 1800s French- & English-style gardens with fountains, a small zoo & a fine-art museum.
It need so much improvement from the government, I don’t like when people see foreigners keep looking at them!!!
Very nice and clean place. Good for kids and family and even visitors or tourists. Parking cars available other side only 100 da.
Wonderful place, like in the fairytale. Visited many times coz you never stop wondering.
Wonderful family park ,with greens and animals
A very nice place, but the signs are missing, there is no guide, and the worst is that there is no security to the point that people chased after me for stealing me, The place is nice but needs a lot of cleaning and organizing ، I advise you to avoid people there because there are many thieves there .
This garden is considered the biggest garden in africa, and the 3rd biggest in the world, old movies like tarzan 1932 has many scenes which has been recorded in here. it was a great experience for me and im looking forwar to be here again .
A phenomenal place with a variety of plant and tree types. However, its not very well cared for by the authorities. It could be much better. Also, the food is expensive and of average quality. The zoo needs a lot more attention, especially cleaning.Overall, we loved looking at the different plants here.
This is the only place where you can really enjoy your time and breathe a good air!
Very amazed by the park... Aa place that must be visited
So much greenery and a nice view of maqam eshahid

It is located in the area of Hamma, west of the city center, a few thousand meters away. It can be reached by metro, by getting off at the Experimental Garden station. It is considered one of the most important and largest gardens built by France in Africa in 1832, on an area of more than 5 hectares, and includes thousands of species of plants, and several types of gardens as if they were a nature museum. You can also visit the National Library in Hamma, which is located next to it, or the not far Cervantes Cave, the cave in which the Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes was captured.
A very good place to take the kids to see the animals. Unfortunately no informations are available to take home for the kids, no marketing ( no gift shops, cards, flyers, books ….for the zoo, a big lost opportunity to make money and improve the place.
A real good place to go, just needs more attention to details
Hamma Garden is one of the best places in Algeria and the world. It is the third most beautiful and largest garden in the world. It contains more than 2500 species of plants since 1832.The price of the entrance ticket for adults is: 150 DZD ($0.7and 50 DA for children under 18 ($0.2and the garden contains two parts: the French and the English gardens. The garden can be reached by bus or taxi from Tafoura station and by train ( Les Ateliers station), tram ( Les Fusillés Station), metro ( Jardin dessai and cable car ( Al-Hama Park - Al-Madaniah ).

Its very nice place really I recommend to visit it, calm beautiful.... the words are not enough to describe it
A great place to relax in. Has a large parking where you can park your car and cross the road to get in the garden. Tickets are purchased at the entrence. Price is OK (150 da/person). If you wanna enter the zoo area, you have to pay another 150 da/person. I really liked the nature as well as the atmosphere
Amazing plants and trees:i live how clean it is it makes you forget youre in algeria also the animals are cute and awesome maybe they need more attention......quiet place t0 read a book or just enjoy the company of your partner
World heritage unesco site.Hama park- This garden is the most beautiful garden I have ever visited! There are thousands of species of plants and trees, ponds, play areas for kids and even a zoo!But the best thing about this place is the history. This park is famous for 2 reasons...It is the location for the first ever Tarzan movie which is still watched by millions today. With its exotic trees and dense beautiful green foliage, it made the perfect location for a man and his chimp to swing from tree to tree!It was also visited by the Queen mother! If you are visiting Algeria then I highly highly recommend you visit here!If you have not been to Algeria then what are you waiting for??? It is one of the most beautiful countries on this earth!#algeria #Algeria #visit_algeria #visitalgeria
The best place to visit in Algiers with friends and family
The Experimental Garden in Hamma, Algiers, is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in the world, as it was ranked fifth in the world due to its rare plants and trees and stunning landscapes .. All these factors made it a destination for visitors from all sides to enjoy its beauty and its pleasant faces. It includes 2,500 species of plants and hundreds of years old trees, more than 25 types of palm trees, as well as a classic French and British garden. The unique experimental park was established in Algeria in 1832, that is, two years after the start of the French occupation of Algeria, and it was considered among the most beautiful gardens in the world.
Historical botanical garden. Many plant species and zoo
My favourite place for reading or relaxing or even just for walking . Really clean and calm love it really .There is a restaurant insideThere is 2 fast food alsoThere is a cafe place .There is a Zoo ( tiger, lion , monkeys , bear...)The entrance fees to the garden is for 150 dinars ticketAnd the Zoo ticket is for 150 dinars .The garden is not open on sundays .You can not use your bike or skateboard inside
There are an estimated 1,200 different species of plants in the garden. It is quite interesting for nature lovers, especially for plants-men. In addition, the greenery is certainly soul soothing. The garden is strategically located, where the Martyrs Memorial monument, "a concrete monument commemorating the Algerian war for independence," is a 5-minute walk away. And many other interesting places. An amazing experience for what we call a “symbolic amount.”
A nice place to visit with your family
Amazing place for relaxing, e.hoy some colors and breath fresh air
I went last year there for an event and I was shocked because I found El-Hamma in a catastrophic and unbelievable situation , dirty, messy , bad smelling...I hope that government and citizens care about it .
Heard thy film the first tarazan movie in here i guess on the 40s
The central Park for the capital Algiers. You will not miss this place in your list when visiting this city. Beautiful architecture of gardens, multiple species of plants, trees and flowers from all over the world. People who are passionate about gardening and green spaces design will enjoy their time here. Bring your children and teach them how to protect the environment and love the nature so we can keep it clean and beautiful.
One word.. WOW! The amount of plant and tree diversity is unbelievable. A great place to relax, read a book, and get away from the city. Admission is about 2-3 US Dollars and has walk areas, ponds, grass land, and great place to take pictures. There are multiple entrances to the garden. And public transit is very close to each entrance. Definitely worth checking out if youre in Algiers
Very beautiful garden in the middle of Algiers with a hundreds of Types of trees and has a wonderful view to the sea
Spacious and clean garden. It has a lot of variety of trees and plants. A nice place to spend some time in weekend with family and friends
Beautiful experience in such a wonderful place
Nature Museum and small zoo, you can find a lots of rare trees and plants... if you want a peace of mind, this is the best destination
Awsome place that you can spend a lovely day with family
Very quiet and beautiful place to chill
Perfect place If only they take care of it more often
A great place, but unfortunately not totally respectful in workdays, especially in the afternoon, because of "love birds"...Disrespectful couples... everywhere!
The French colonials left a sublime, expansive garden for everyone to admire at a relaxed pace.
Great views , Clean , refreshing, amazing park ,place for families for weekends or any day on the week , u should definitely visit it
Nice garden but still needs some works in it, some attractions and points of interest.
Amazing garden with beautiful walk ways and unbelievable trees and plants. Highly recommended if you are visiting Algers. Every city needs one of these.
A wonderful garden, very impressed by the diversity and relaxing place
Nice botanical garden, with ancient plants, promenades, boulevard and little lakes. You have to pay to get in. They keep it clean on the main area, but as usual people here are not able to throw their garbage. It is also a nice place where to hide when you are a young lover. Young algerians do not have an easy life.
Wonderful place, beautiful gardens, pure nature.. lovely to walk and jog in there. Entrance: 150 dzd adult. Parking: 80 dzd
Beautiful place for a picnic or a stroll. Theres parking across the street from the main entrance on the sidewalk. Sometimes someone is there charging 100 da per car. The French garden is not to be missed, with views of the Martyrs Monument and the sea. Ponds with ducks and fish and an area to pet goats helps entertain the kids.
Amazing botanical garden big territory, a lot of nice views and of corse good location
Nice landscapes ,there are plenty of rare and old trees , I suggest everyone to go there and visit it bcas its really nice place to relax 👌🏽👍🏽but the area where they are put animals its a disaster 🙈 really bad smell and the food is not too bad
