Bostonian Seafood & Grill Restaurant - Western restaurant in Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Lobster bisque cooked table side, very rich in flavour and nice to watch. Oysters, lobster and steak were all exceptional. Risotto and the side dishes not so. Nice service. Would come back for crab cake and thermidor.
Happy Dining… family gathering.Semi buffet with assorted drinks, seafood, desserts, salad with big portion of appetiser and main course.I was super satisfied during whole dining process.I have suspected food poisoning after one day… as I ate many seafood (oysters, escargot, mussels…etc … 🥲Service: Very good and sincereDrink: healthy drink (lemon water with dried fruit to add flavours)Buffet: Great selection of food and of quality… however too many hovering at the seafood bar which constitute a hygiene risk…Taste: really goooooodAppetiser: the lobster soup in small mug was excellent😍Maincourse: big portion!!Though i have food poisoning, i think it is worth to risk 🥲
Great seafood quality and quantity. Amazing warmand cozy dining experience. Good service. Just dont miss this is u like seafood.
nice and service is good, yummy dessert too!
Nice restaurant in TST. Fresh oysters, and the burgers are awesome. The service is very good. Professional and nice waiters.
Amazing seafood and great deal for weekend semi-buffet brunch. Good selections of cold cuts and cheese, fresh and tasty seafood platters. Several hot dishes to share. Not a fan of the curry mussels, better if it’s cooked with white wine sauce. The lobster may also be better if it’s not baked with strong seasoning. The mains are all superb.
Onion soup is good, but beef roll and fillet mignon are disappointing which we got a fully cooked mignon. Fries are not crispy. Quite a unpleasant experience, wont recommend this restaurant, and definitely wont come back again.
I was not aware that this place existed, modern design and good chicken wings.. will come again, cozy place.
The food was decent and portions were fine but it was just missing a certain umph to the meal. We had the steak platter and some sides, as well as a bisque but I think it could be much better.
Actually everything was good regarding the food except for the seafood platter. What I had:- seafood platter for 2- lobster bisque- white asparagus soup- sweet potato friesIt felt like it wasn’t THAT fresh. The Porterhouse has fresher, it felt like. However, the variety is more in Bostonian.
not bad ~
Having tried numerous "recommended" places for Reuben I can say categorically this is the best restaurant for Reuben, the search is over, period. The meat, taste, combination of indigrients and size are by far the best. Price was also very reasonable. Dont waste time trying anywhere else. The restaurant Main St. Deli is currently under renovation but its menu can be ordered from The Bostonian downstairs which was very atmospheric. Mrs had the Bostonian set lunch and she gave it full marks, especially the grilled salmon. Service was attentive and efficient, even it was nearly full house by the time we finished. Highly recommended.
Very comfortable place with nice food. The lobster bisque is a must item!
So far so good la.
A busy restaurant over the lunch. The seafood platter we ordered came without the lobster. The staff did not tell or update you at all until it’s arrived or about to finish. The manager was quite stern and serious over his face all the times. His staff was more friendly and proactive than him. The bread served was not warm and you’d need to remind them. 😉
Great service, foods are so so so.Oyster, prawn in seafood are really bad.Lobster 🦞 is great!
Executive lunch $298, food of average quality, no dessert ,not even comes with tea or coffee.
Very decent restaurant. The seafood platter was fresh. The food portion was acceptable.
Unimpressive decor, quite noisy, very nice staff. Oysters were good. Other food so-so.I recall that it used to be very good many years ago. Pity.
Weve been to this place several times recently, for dinner and buffet lunch. The servers are usually quite pleasant and professional, but you shouldnt count on being in and out quickly -- service is very slow sometimes. We got the impression they may have cut down on staff during the worst of COVID in HK and still havent re-staffed even though attendance is up now.As for the food, my family loves the tomahawk steak and oysters. Most things on the menu are very good, although they do skew a bit salty. The mac & cheese and creamed spinach are good sides. For dessert, I highly recommend the coffee chocolate tart -- the smooth, creamy, caramel-y filling is awesome.
Half price offer for medical staff, but it is really trouble to get the quota and the customer has to phone the restaurant to confirm the special offer himself. A lunch set with seafood platter, main course, dessert and drink. Original price 498/head.
Sun Brunch, only two oysters and two long crab legs per person! Not recommended for sea food buffet!
Nice and quiet restaurant during COVID-19 period (30 April 2020).
Fresh seafood and lunch set with a a really stealing price平靚正
Very fresh seafood. The variety was good, but most importantly everything was so fresh. Apparently, the seafood is also sustainably sourced, which is a nice added benefit. Theres a good selection of steaks as well. We tried a sirloin, which was delicious. We also ordered the seafood tower. The oysters were very juicy and plump. Its a lot of food for just two people. This place is pretty pricey so just keep that in mind!
Very coxy environment with excellent quality of seafood. Staff is nice and very helpful especially Summer. He is very polite and knowledgeable. Would recommend the place to friends and family for a great Sunday Brunch.
Ive had better steak and service else where to be quite honest, especially at this price point that Im paying at.
A delicious variety of food choicesWonderful experience.
Locate in the basement of the Langham Hotel in TST, rather easy to find. Food was excellent, service staff is attentive and helpful. Ambience was great. Only thing is the price, very expensive but definitely worth a try if you never been.
Not many choices in the appetizers buffet. Wait for nearly an hour for the main course. The dessert is good-looking but not delicious.
Good but not a star as it was described. Been there with a customer was a good idea because the ambience but food could ne better. Service is ok. May I will be back for a second "bite".
Seafood platter was to die for. Had a good wine list, great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend
A hidden spot in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. Recommended for both romantic dinners and big groups! Protein is cooked perfectly, and love their truffle fries!
decent place, food is good, service is good but can be better~
Dry aged rib-eye was tender, tasty and cooked just right. Oysters were extremely fresh, a rarity in Hong Kong.
Excellent food and service.
The lobster was delicious, however the salad and appetizer were not as good as before, no more buffet now.
We came here for seafood. The three of us ordered a seafood tower, crab cake, and baked potato to share, plus each of us a bowl of lobster bisque. All the food are lovely. We noticed that someone from a table nearby ordered Caesar salad which is not listed in the menu. Maybe we will ask for this in our next visit.
Very nice food and great service!
Nice food and environment! Suitable for dating 🥰
Just have brunch buffet with my friends this afternoon. Delicious salad bar with fresh oysters & variety choice of food. Also choices of main dish & dessert. Have an enjoyable lunch here & highly recommend.
nice place, nice service, nice food
Five 🌟 s. We spent about three beautiful delicious hours, enjoying the, elegantly sophisticated relaxed ambience; the host/servers were friendly, and attentive; but what we enjoyed the most were the professionally beautiful perfectly well made drinks from Naraj the bartender from Nepal, all three drinks that we each had were very wicked, wicked delicious; we enjoyed all the appetizers: the Bruce Lee fried oyster, Rhode Island crab cakes, grilled scallops, and the red sauce mussels, they were all watermelting delicious and perfectly cooked. Prices are very affordable for this highly elevated Luxury restaurant; the Bostonian, really seals your last beautiful memories of Hong Kong.Highly recommend , its a most.
The restaurant has been around for quite many years and my first time dining there. The location is at the prime shopping area, so very convenient! The decor is modern with many paintings on the wall which add an artsy touch. The service is ok, could be more attentive to take finished dishes away.As for food, all the dishes did not disappoint. The seafood tower was fresh and good value. The variety was great. Lobster bisque was tasty but little salty, I suggest sharing as it comes in quite a big bowl. Ribeye steak was nicely cooked, juicy! At the end, they presented box of complimentary sweets which gives a nice finish touch.
Great seafood platter! Oysters are delicious! Service is equally good.
Its ok but not what you expect from a Langham Hotel. Service is scarce and when it does appear, extremely slow. Aiming at a certain clientele. Better places around doing way better semi buffet lunches.
Very nice place and high quality of food.
Didnt originally planned on coming here, but given that we stayed at the hotel above and there happened to be a typhoon level 8 warning, closing out all the shops in the area, we were stuck with eating in a the hotel. The staffs service was top notch 5 out of 5. Food ranges, I dont know whether it depended on the ingredients or cooking skills. The lobster bisque was a little on the salty side, but otherwise tastes quite nice. The steak was cooked very well. The scallops were a little bland, not so much because of the seasoning, but it just wasnt very sweet the way youd expect fresh scallops to be. The side dishes were ok, fries were a little soggy, and mushrooms also tasted a little bland. The lobster from the surf and turf dish had meat that wasnt as firm as Id hope. Overall an OK experience. Wouldnt mind giving them another chance next time Im in the area.
Weekend brunch serve fresh oysters, baked shellfish and other cold cuts etc. I miss the baked lobsters, they dont serve this anymore.. what a pity. The poached cold lobster is ALWAYS overcooked n rubbery. The foie gras and baked crab meat (limited to 1 servingwere yummy. Mains - lamb rack and baked salmon both cooked to perfection, the beef steak was rather rough.
This resturant has a great selection of fresh oysters and the seafood platter is very good. Price is high, but well worth it.
