Bossa Somerset West in Cape Town

Amazing place to go for cocktails and pizza. Their food is my favorite, its extremely good quality and fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend for a girls get together.

Bossa Somerset West was so lovely . Food is so Delicious my kids really enjoyed a kiddies menu. Bossa staff members are very friendly and yet professional.

Always a nice day out for the family on Sundays, weather permitting. Winter there is a lovely fireplace in the bar area, but the kids area is outside. So not suited for kids on a rainy day or cold evening.

Amazing service and a 700g T-Bone that was cooked to perfection with crispy chips. Winner choice and good fun to top it all.

Food was good atmosphere was very family orientated... service was 10 out of 10 even though Micheal was not our waiter he still kept on making sure if we were ok top class that guy hey.

Lovely local place. Children eat free on Wednesdays and Sundays. My kids aged 8 and 10 enjoys going to Bossa to play while me and mommy stare into each others eyes over a cappuccino. The menu is a little limited but the food is always quality ingredients. Keep up the good work!

Lovely vibe with amazing pizzas (pizza tends to be a bit cold when it arrives).Really lively and very enjoyable to watch sport on a big screen. Be sure to check your bill.

Bad experienceFirstly place wasnt busy,service super slow, quality of food Im customed to was not up to scratch. Even with poor service and bad quality food the waiter deemed to add a 10% tip.

If youre not there for burgers then I dont know what you are doing there - their burgers are definitely one for the books! It is a family restaurant but also a bar. The layout is a bit strange, you need to walk through the bar to get outside (just a note for people with children). The parking is also not that great and expect to possibly park in the street. Its very important to make reservations especially on "Burger Monday"

Bossa has a menu to delight everyones palate. The calamari and steak are particularly delicious, both will leave you salivating and hungry for more.

Very unique setting but a great vibe! Outside smoking area offers a nice cozy fire, the staff is friendly and the pizza is super delicious!

First time here for me and really impressed - food was outstanding, ambience superb, waiters totally professional and very efficient - highly highly recommended!

I like the service of our waiter. Personally I like my food served piping hot, unfortunately when our food was served it got cold. Love the kids playground. There are some kids at the time that werent playing nice, but I dont feel that is Bossas fault.

I quite like this place. Especially for my kid... the reason for the 3 star is because we were there recently and the place was packed more with staff than guests and their service was below standard not kak but definitely below standard. I would recommend if you have time to spend...

The service was amazing. Unlike most restaurants the waiters werent hovering over us the whole time and knew exactly when to come and ask if we were okay. Great service best experience Ive had before. 😊

You guys need to get your stuff together. Almost every Monday I call for takeaway but you decline cuz ur too busy. Then I order from Stellenbosch without any issue and when I get there, there is a queue outside the door! But they still take my order.

Milkshakes were soo good! And the service was lovely too!

I just had breakfast 4 the 3rd time after the change on management. Service is getting worse. The chef cant make a proper egg, you ask for soft then you get snotty eggs I will never get a steak if you cant make a egg and the tables are always dirty even in the morning when there is barely people.

Great service and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Even ordered their wings at take out. Will definitely be going again soon

Lovely food ... but served cold after a looooong wait. Rather serve as and when ready instead of waiting to serve the whole order (4 paxsimultaneously. Id rather eat in stages than having to choke through cold good food☹

The staff is absolutely amazing and fun. The location might feel to much in the city but once you get inside the atmosphere is totally different and relaxing.One must just keep in mind the portions of food is a reasonable size. Thank you guys

Excellent service by waiter, clean everywhere, thus our grandson sleeping under the bench, tasty food, good value for money. Excellent playground for under 6 year old kids.... The beautiful jumping castle, will be a hug attraction, if moved into the shade.

Value for money. The vibe is wonderful and the views are to die for. Eating while watching the calming waves from the sea has got to be one of the best things. The customer service is also wonderful. Very chilled, respectful, clear and equal treatment to all customers. Food is delicious. Portions are big and prices are reasonable. This is another Bossa that earned its place on my favourite restaurants list. It’s certainly on the top 5. I love this place.

Whaoo we lived it and make more Special cos its kids friendly. Its a good idea as it create a family vibe where parents can relax and see their kids having fun whilst enjoying a lovely meal. Great place to enjoy some pizza and grills while enjoying some drinks. The wait for food can be a bit long, but its generally worth the wait. We tries their chilli cheese burger and wings, paired with loaded fries, amazing

Summary: Food wonderful, service decent but needs to be worked on a bit more (this is just based based on one waiter, so my experience will be different to others). Further explanation below.Great food, burgers particularly was really tasty. Have to say the chips were wonderfully season and perfectly cooked.Pizza was nice but it lack a wow factor. Calamari and fish was a touch oily but still very delicious.Onion rings the batter was great but onions itself lacked some seasoning, a pinch of salt would go a long way.Service was a bit shoddy, as the waiter seems to be intimidating, as they gave us little time to actually look through the menu when we ordered food, till a point where we felt the need to ask the waiter to give us more time (previously we asked for more time, twice it was less than 3 mins and they came backthey were just standing at the table making us feel pressured to just pick something.Once we picked order was put through quickly but we still had to order for one more person but the waiter did not come through for next 25 mins so we went and found the winter to add one more order. Food came out at a reasonable pace.Overall happy with the restaurant😁 nice work owners and management.

Lovely family environment, great food and amazing cocktails... We always enjoy our time at Bossa Somerset West. The waiters are so helpful and friendly. The play park is so amazing, the kids have so much fun and while they playing, mommy and daddy can sip on great cocktails... There food is so tasty and well presented... Every things always on point... Well done to the Bossa team @ Somerset West.

We went for a drink and got take outs... beef curry and mash. Got home and if there is even 50 g meat in this mash its a lot!! Very disappointing and the chips with the spare rib special tasted old and just heated up. Wont be back for any take outs sorry!

Thoroughly average. Ordered a creme brûlée milkshake - a vanilla one arrived. Sent it back. Ordered a chicken mayonnaise, bacon and pineapple pizza - big globs of mayo on it just take over. While the vibe is reasonable and the space for kids is a good thing to have, I found this outing just not meeting my expectations at all. Very much a let down.

Pub with a small play area. Food looked good however the fish we ordered was frozen inside and raw. Staff not that friendly and the place was packed regardless of Covid. Prices are not too bad though and the other items we ordered were ok. Would I go back? No.

Listen up, People! Monday night hamburger special... do not miss this moment. Put it on your bucket list! Great ambience, wood fires and the best hamburger in Cape Town. Their speciality chicken dishes are also highly recommended.

Amazing food! The service is a bit slow but its understandable since they are very busy, but its definitely worth the wait. A very versatile restaurant. A play area for the kids, a bar area, a fancier inside area, a big smoking area underneath a tree and an outside area with a great vibe. Perfect to hang out with you friends.
