Suuuper nice place!!! I was really hungry so I got a Bologna sandwich and a pizzetta diavola. In the end the guy even offered me a free slice of cake! It was really nice and it made my day.

My girlfriend and I came by for dinner while we were in Rome and got 2 paninis, the Roma and the Milano. Both paninis were great (the owner makes them on demand), and theyre well-priced as well (7 euros for a filling meal). The owner is also really nice; he gave us free samples to try alongside a free dessert for us to have after the meal. On top of all that, he takes credit card, which isnt true for all places in Italy. All in all, we had a great experience and definitely recommend this place.

We needed a snack after visiting the Vatican. Borgo 139 had great reviews as we did a quick check of the surrounding area. Glad we stopped here! The owner was fun and super nice. The sandwich was amazing and we got a free pastry. Highly recommended after a 3-hour tour at the Vatican.

Borgo 139 is an absolute gem. The service was great, the food was even better (we had a Panini and Pizza), and the prices are very reasonable.Definitely go here if you are in the area near St Peters Basilica and you are looking for a quick bite.

Deliciuos and fresh food! I have tried Lasagne and Margarita all really tasty. To drink we tried Bier nastro azzurro light and and fresh wine Chardonnay andreassi Lazio wthite, fresh with bit of sweet, I took away one. Great staff and owners friendly and customer focused - regards to you all... Prices are low. Its place you need to step in. Recommend.

Very good place to eAt at good price, salads, sandwichs and pizzas. Service is excellent, very friendly with tourists. Close to Vatican . Take care with other places ; prices are too high and sometimes don’t include service charges and beverages.Francesco and Danilo are very good people. You will enjoy your food .

This is a cool sandwich bar that is perfect if you want good food but dont feel like going to a fancy sit-down restaurant. The staff here are super friendly, and prices are very reasonable. We had the Milano (schnitzel paniniand mushroom risotto, both delicious and fresh! The coffee was great too.

We had the lasagna and the Risotto since it was recommended by the staff, and suggested to be fresh! Few minutes later we find out that it was packaged and microwaved! Service was good, but I cared more about the food.

Man, this place is tiny, but the panini was so good. Super fresh I gridients, sandwiches made right in front of you. Short walk from the Vatican. Take it to go.

Great place to grab a quick bite for real cheap. Located in a street parallel to Piazza San Pietro, the place has a large array of sandwiches and a few other items to choose from. The owners were extremely friendly people. :)

Very friendly, good food, I recommend, if you are searching for a quick snack. The place is very small, only tables for 2 inside and 2 tables outside, that dont have a cover - we came after rain, so unusable.

Had salad. Staff were helpful and spoken broken English. It was easy enough to communicate. Chef did a great job with dietary requirements and it was easy for me to indicate what I could and could not have.

Small sendwich shop close to vatican on moderate prices. The porcetta to try is a must, i love it. The guy is very nice however speaks only italian. There place only for 4.but you can take away the food. Wide range of food and fresh made and served.

For me, they have the best sandwiches in Borgo Pio. Always fresh and tasty! Try the Borgo 139 porchetta and the Aversa salmon sandwiches.

Price is correct, food is fine (we had two different kinds of lasagna, both good), but portion could be a bit small for some, but they were more than enough for us.

I read the good reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. Yes, the prices are good, and the food was quite delicious. However, I asked in my best Italian (which is quite bad), whether the portion sizes were big, and the answer was yes. I could have easily eaten two plates, which would have been a big portion. If they make the quantities bigger, I would definitely recommend this place.

Good panini place! There are lots of places in Rome to get very nice panini for around 5 euro, and this is one of them. Wont blow your mind, but it was really quite good.

Very delicious pizza with good price. The restaurant is quite small but unexpectedly clean and the owner is nice and patient. I will personally recommend you Pizza Margherita!

This is a nice little gem just down the road from the Vatican. I wouldnt recommend this place for dinner, unless you come early, but it works well for lunch. The prices are good and the paninis are excellent. The owners were really nice to me as well.Just a note: though the shop officially closes at 7:30pm, it really closes around 7 or a bit earlier when its not busy.

Great paninis close to the Vatican/Saint Peters Basilica. Not a lot of room to sit, but if you are lucky (or patientenough, you can enjoy your food there. Very affordable and fast.

Great place for a sandwich. The service is great. The space is small but easy to grab a sandwich and go or hope for one of the small tables to open up. Either way, perfect place to rest and enjoy a light meal.

Great little Sandwich shop with really decent prices. Its small, its an eat-and-run sort of place that does good Sandwiches at good prices. If youre taking a trip to the Vatican, quickly swing by here. Its certainly worth your time.
