Bora-Bora in Lisbon

It looks fun but it smells terrible and the drinks do not have appropriate descriptions. Also, there is a weird bouncer showing everyone to their table.

Very entertaining tiki bar experience. The mad menu is fun, although unless you ask the waiter to explain everything it’s hard to know what you’re getting. Would definitely go back and try some other cocktails!

Good drinks, open late. Bartender cheerful at 2 am on a Thursday.

Nice atmosphere, true enough to the Polynesian theme, and a nice staff. It was a little hot and the drink descriptions in the menu were unhelpful and possibly unintentionally racist, but I enjoyed myself nonetheless. Chips, nuts, and crackers were free. It definitely has a 50s/60s lounge atmosphere… they’re trying and generally succeeding at running a nice spot to stop for a cocktail.

Cool and unique place for drinks. I got to taste four different drinks and those that we ordered tasted juicy and sweet. They gave salty snacks at the table: chips, peanuts and crackers.

Such a cute place! The gentleman serving also paid for mine and my friend’s beer at the end 🥺 so sweet, the drinks are not too strong and my Chi Chi tasted just like a cake! I suggest u go visit! :)

Very interesting place. Decorations seem to be like ancient Incas and there is a water fountain. On the other hand the music has like a teenager vibe ;-Anyway it is nice. Drinks have very curious descriptions, but are kinda expensive. Either way interesting place to visit.

This is one of the most unique experienced to have in Lisbon. Drinks are fantastic, setup is fantastic and service was stellar.

Not too many tiki places in Lisbon which is a shame. The place itself and the decor is great but seems a little old and dusty. The servers seem a little old and dusty also, and the menu. The drinks are good though and it is a fun change. There was a lot of smoking going on inside - that was a challenge for us. Overall though we liked it.

Incredible surprise cocktails (you choose by the name and the cups are unique!in an environment that actually takes us to the exotic place that Bora Bora is! Very well decorated.

Its an okay bar near Alameda station. It was very exotic and different drinks but the cocktail itself is not very good.

Nice place to chill with your friends. Beer a bit expensive in my opinion. Although cocktails are top and unique. You dont have the description of ingredients in menu, but even if you would it would worthless to understand the taste of the drink, since its a lot of ingredients and they cant tell you the quantity of each. So better to ask advice from staff rather than to ask whats inside. Seen a lot of comments that staff is unfriendly, this is a complete lie. Super nice and friendly. Of course if you behave like an arrogant piece of cake, dont expect special treatment.

The bar looks cool, but the cocktails are not that tasty and really overpriced. Youd expect something nicer for 7.50€.Anyway, you might want to drop by if you have anywhere else to go, but dont just go for the cocktails - theyre not worth it.

Wow this place is weird. They serve 20 different kinds of cocktails in exotic glasses. From the descriptions its impossible to tell whats actually in them. They are all like "on the ancient vulcanic island of Aslamacatar a tribe of mystical goat people invented this recipe". I suspect all cocktails are the same mix of tropical juice and vodka. It was a lot of fun!

The place has a unique ambiance that is so fun. They have the cups for the drinks in different forms and shapes which ads fun when you are here. The staffs are quite friendly and approachableJust walking distance from alameda metro or ride the bus 706 from martim moniz or parque nações

A quick trip to the seventies and eighties, a place totally frozen in time good for lovers and mistresses I guess. Expensive large size cocktails for sharing. Not my kind of place but it suit its specific market...

Eighties style preserved Smokey drinks and nice atmosphere.Not fit for people with allergies - too much dust.Basement is even worse, though the decoration with water fountain is really kitsch.Cocktails are done based on premixed ingredients and are too sweet.

Although the bar appeared dingy at first, I appreciate its charm a few minutes into my visit there. The waiter that served my party was extremely helpful and friendly, and the drinks were superb. Note that the bar gets very busy at around 11pm.

Despite the fact that it was cold, the environment is really pleasant. The beverages are super cool. You get to share an easy moment with your friends having free peanuts

Very beautiful place, but full of dust, so if you are allergic, you will become problems. Never had such an unfriendly and miserable waiter. The snacks were old and hard. Could be so much better, but they should hire other waiters. You feel very unwelcome.

Too expensive, background music has nothing to do with the place, unpleasent smell. The staff wasnt particularly friendly, they all looked and acted like they were hiding something

Well, some may say that Tiki bars are a thing of the past, that theyre outdated and tacky. I prefer to call them exotic and just drift in that mildly drunk time frame that is neither past, present or future, but will always be a better place where dreams come true. This is our paralell universe, a better one!

Really unusual cool place. Perfect to chill with friends, listening to nice music in a really nice environment. Will definitely advise to give it a shot and thy their amazing cocktails! Definitely love it

This is a quite strange but loveable polynesian bar. The interior is really old fashioned, but on point for the south seas theme. there is a small fountain in the middle of the room making splashing creek noises. even though, it smells a bit muddy. the waiters are very kind guys as well as the bouncer. the drinks are kind of mysterious. on the menu are couple of cocktails with strange names like "Dr. Funk" without any ingredients on the list. just a few lines with emotions linked to the drink. but that makes all of it authentic and outstanding. we had a cozy late night hanging out there. you can give it a try.

Very nice environment. You will have a variety of drinks and special cups with long straws for each one. Although Im warning you, the menu only has fictional description of the drink, if you want the composition you need to ask the bartender.You will have snacks with your drink too!

Overpriced, small, dirty with wet smell of the carpets... 8 euros for a "cocktail" whos basically a juice with a drop of alcohol in a plastic "design" cup.

In my opinion it needs a lot to change before I go back. Old "bad" decorations, quite rude staff, and the drinks look nice with smoke but taste like bad juice with out alcohol. All that at a price way over what is fair!

One of the worst experiences in my life. The employer was rude and unhelpful in explaining and choosing a cocktail on the list. The space smells like mold and does not provide a pleasurable experience. Plus, theres a minimum consume per person, so forget about splitting a cocktail. Get away from this place!

its different, its worth a visit because of the styling of the place and the glasses for the drinks...expect to pay 7+ eur per drink...waiters can also be a bit slow sometimes.

The place is a true time capsule. It is stuck in the Hawaiian 80s in the best way possible. Non-smokers might have a problem with it since you can smoke inside, thus giving it a true 80s style.The moment you enter it you travel back in time and relive a nostalgia whether you were born before the 80s or not. The ambient is super relaxed and a comfortably mesmerizing as you get absorbed by the Polynesian ornaments.Now you might find items on the menu a bit on the expensive side, 7,50€ for a single drink (at the time of the writing of this review, fall 2016). Well it really depends on what you think is reasonable for a good cocktail that comes with snacks included. (The snacks werent fresh when I got them.)I cant really tell about the service.
