This place has awesome sushi burritos except it’s never open. Tried to get a burrito at 4:05 today and the guy said they were closed. Tried to get a sushi on a Friday during lent at 5pm And also closed. I just wish it would stay open longer or adjust their times/ stop closing so early

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Said they open at 11:30am, we showed up at noon. They said they could not open until the boss showed up, who is also the only sushi chef. Was told chef would arrive in 10 more minutes, after 1.5 hours of waiting still not open. Only place closed in the 7th St. Market.They’re still closed for all I know......not interested in your business if closed the entire Saturday lunch hour.

Poke bowl was good but lacked enough sauce when ordered with salad greens. Friendly service.

Charlotte for lunch? Come here!!! We loved this local find! We had the OG and let me just say I wish I didn’t share it with my husband! Prices were just right for the phenomenal food! Keep it up!

Overall, I liked the spot. The sushi rolls were good. One was brought out without the sauce, but not a big deal. I did think it was a bit steep in price, and it took awhile to get my to-go order. Other than that, neat spot in 7th street market

The service is really fast, you can order online or in person. The sushi I usually get is the avocado one paired with the soy sauce, wasabi and spicy mayo makes it amazing.

Quality has gone downhill over the last year or so. Tip in cash because the credit card tips go to the owner. This place will shut down in months.

The people who work here hate their jobs.

I ordered the everything well done bonsai burrito. The burrito taste really good and very delicious, all the vegetables, the rice and seafood meats compliments very well with the flavor. Very flavorful in every bite.🙂😀👍👍

Twice in a row now I have paid almost $17 (Large poke + taxfor a half full container of food. Used to be extremely satisfied with the portions, but cannot see myself returning any longer.

Quick stop here on a date night before a show. Great customer service, decent prices and excellent sushi.

Being a sushi fan, trying a sushi burrito had been on my list for a while. This is the only place in Charlotte I know of that makes sushi burritos. This is one of many great options inside of 7th Street Public Market.I got the Incredible Hulk burrito and boy was it good. It has a little kick to it from the jalapenos which was good. The fish was fresh tasting. It was a little messy to eat when you add soy sauce to the equation. Its a decent size, but I was still a little hungry when I got it for dinner.You order and pay at the counter, take a number, and find a seat anywhere in the market. When your food is ready, theyll bring it out to you. I got mine pretty fast.Ive also heard really good things about their sushi and poke. Ill definitely be back here again!

Easily the best sushi I have had in my entire life. They have an extensive menu of creations that are authentic and delicious. I ate here with my fiance two days in a row while we were on vacation here! If I would have known about it sooner, I would have eaten here every day!The chefs here are very friendly and nice, and they work fast! I will be coming back next time Im in the area!

Lame. Showed up at 330 Friday April 28. Stood for at least 5 minutes at the sushi bar while the chef ran his mouth to the only other customer in there (who already was eatingand did not even acknowledge me or take my order. As he continued to blab I glanced at this supermarket grade sushi and left. Avoid at all costs. Plenty of other food options in the building.

Delicious, no fuss sushi in a great location. Only wish they had a free standing location open later.

Looks great, have come here twice and both times it’s been closed. Once it had a sign up saying they’d be back at 3:30 so we hung around, then someone came up and said it would be more like 4. I suggest calling before you go so you don’t make the drive and pay for the parking deck for no reason.

I moved to Charlotte from Hawaii and the shushi here tastes like what you get on the islands, which should come as no surprise since one of the owners is from Oahu! It’s quality, yummy, fresh and they provide excellent customer service.

Food here is good and convenient for a quick sushi lunch. Took away a star for a to-go order that was handed to me incorrectly. I was satisfied with the resolution when I called the location back: they offered the same order another day, on the house.

Amazing sushi and an unbeatable price! The quality is through the roof and everyone was incredibly friendly. The atmosphere of the whole market is great and when you tie that in with delicious sushi you are really in for a treat! I highly recommend Bonsai Fusion to everyone, you wont be disappointed!

My favorite sushi in Charlotte. The parking deck isnt so bad once you figure it out and it shouldnt detract from the sushi.

Best sushi in Charlotte. Really awesome people running the shop and they are incredibly friendly. Quality is always of a high level and prices are exceptional. We usually order vegetarian rolls and they are always artfully made with lots of ingredients. Not your typically boring cucumber and avocado veg sushi!

Inconvenient parking deck, confusing, small spaces, inconsiderate drivers. It is validated for free for 2 hours.The sushi sounded great, but it lacked flavor and was very underwhelming for the time it took to park, wait for the order, and the price. They do have basic sushi specials for lunch.

Went to the 7th Street market for the first time with my wife. Thought well have some sushi then have some crepes for dessert. This place closes at 3pm we tried to place an order at 2:40pm. The guy refused to serve us and told us that he stopped taking orders. Horrible first impression and experience.
