Bonanza in Ponce

Made plans to sightsee around the island and visit Bonanza in Ponce.Arrived there at 3:00PM. Great big sign indicating the building was for rent. Called tel. num. and the call ended before it began. Called the office and all the message said were the hours and nothing else. Please, if youre closed, please let lt be known in your web page. It would save a lot of trouble for a lot of people.

Clean but very small, a bit uncomfortable. Food was ok but the Mofongo (it was dry and unseasoned).

Inexpensive,family oriented restaurant,great food quality. Would recommend to anyone local or tourist. Best bang for your buck.

The staff was very friendly and the establishment clean. The salad was fresh delicious. The hot food (meatwas so salty it was not edible. I was very disappointed.

Great place for lunch or dinner, or just with family. The food, vegetables, etc, are fresh and kept hot at time of serving. Clean location, family friendly, and the employees are welcoming.

Food was good and the attention of the waitress was excellent, but the manager reception was really lacking in sympathy and politeness.

Much to choose from but the food is bland, there was no selection of shredded cheese anywhere. The salads were fresh.

The customer service was great but the buffet was less then satisfying the guayava shells was spoiled and the salads was not chilled.

Good service the steaks and chicken dinner where very good but food bar was in horrible shape they dint change the food until some costumer complained about it the salad bar was very good but the ice cream machine run out of vanilla flavor and they do nothing to bring more..bit the waiter teams did the best of what they could do.

The place seriously need a larger varierty of foods. The presentation of the buffet didnt create the " I would like some of that " it looked like the staff didnt care of presentation. Ordered the sirloin steak was very good, mash potatoes cold. Ice tea tasted like it had cleaning solution. The bread pudding was delcious.

I simply LOVE this place!!! It is perfectly located (By Pass #2 PRroadin front of SAMS CLUB... The food in the food and salad bar here is awesome!!! And the entrees are mind blowing! The prices are very good and little kids eat FREE!!!! I think it is up till 3 years... Please ask to check before you go and seat. The ONE thing I dont like about coming here is the parking space.... TOO SMALL!!!! Of course you could always park on the SAMS parking spaces, and would only need to cross a little road between the parking and the restaurant. 😕

Expensive and not much to choose from. Only thing good about this Bonanza was the "arroz blanco con habichuelas"

Great local food buffet with vary varied local cooking offerings and also American food selections. Family friendly and capacity for large groups. Somewhat pricey but worth the expense for the variety of good well cooked meals and pleasant ambience.

I came here trying to find “comida criolla" (local cuisineat a good price during the evening. This is an All-you-can-eat Buffet restaurant. We pay around $15 per person including taxes and drinks. This place is good with the local food. So... White rice, beans and grilled chicken is the best thing to get. Staff was very attentive and ready to serve.
