Cool cafe for counter-serve Vietnamese street food such as rice & noodle bowls, plus sandwiches.
Very tasty, simple and delicious food! Grab and go makes it simpler !
Noodles bowl with tofu and chickpeas for $14โฆ it has not been easy finding vegan places so not bad for a bit of protein at lunch. Qty of tofu and chickpeas is not that much compared to noodles, also hot tofu but cold chickpeas, anyway taste was good ๐
Good: ingredients, staff, priceNot as good: taste (Vietnamese summer bowland theyโll give you a take out box even if you wanna eat there.
Good food but it took too long to make my order.
Taste good nice herbs and spices which compliments the add on K-Town Throw down Gochujang chicken
Love this place! So many vegan options. Chickpeas are delicious, not too spicy. 10/10!
Their Miso Kimchi ramen is good and comes with a bowl of miso soup. This place is right across a dining hall and there were plenty of seats when we were there. Awesome place to eat!
Always great Asian fusion with great VEGAN options.. Ordering in-person you can specify 1/2 fried tofu, 1/2 fiery chickpeas for protein!! Scrumptious with extra miso lime sauce & soba noodles.. Or opt for a soup.. Along with GrainMaker in Boston and Honeygrow, BonMe (actual physical locations, not food trucks ), here, at BackBay trn station and in the Longwood Medical area on Brookline Ave, these are my vegan delight mainstays for grabbing great & real satisfying vegan eats.. Extremely reasonably priced, always fresh & NOT processed!!
Easy stop in the Public Market for well-priced, tasty sandwiches. Practically the only place I go to in there.
The host lady was really mean to us. Hate to say this but weโre Asian and the lady treated none Asian customers visibly better. If youโre selling knock off ramen at least sell with good attitude.
Excellent
I had to come on here and leave five stars. Their food is AMAZING and i love the thick noodles they use. I Got the Chicken Udon Noodle Soup and replaced chicken with pork and it was so savory; the pork pulled apart so delicately. 10/10 recommend it was so good that for the first time ever i actually ate the egg ๐ญ i never do at other restaurants and that was good too.
The JP is my go to for every time I need a pick me up or if am just feeling the need for something quick and delicious I come over and get it. Just keep doing what youre doing, serving up the goodness.๐
Still a great place, but I feel like the quality has gone down a little, particularly the quality of the pork in the namesake sandwich. Did you guys change suppliers or anything? I still love the ginger lemonade!

Everything taste so fresh and good. Service is always fast and very friendly even when busy.
Fairly priced and food is decent enough. Nothing stands out as being amazing to me but I keep coming back anyway...probably because theres a good balance of vegetables and it seems somewhat healthy.Ive had the food truck fave, the namesake banh mi and Ive also created my own bowls. Would prefer it if they put more sauce for the rice bowls, I can tell the flavor is there but to me its a bit too subtle. They get quite busy during lunch hour so try to come right before or after to miss the crowds!
Great food and people
Had a late lunch...got the Food Truck special....havent felt good since. Vomiting now for an hour. Something was off today with the food.
Limited seats. Not for family.
Incredible Bahn me. The perfectly balanced sandwich!
I heard that Bon Me was the first food truck in Boston and you can tell by their quick and efficient service. I got my food it seems like instantly after I ordered it. Every part of it tasted fresh and delicious. The carrots were cold and crisp and the pulled pork was hot and juicy. I got the Food Truck Fave which is listed with a 2 fire rating but I didnt find it all that spicy but Ive been told that I often rate things much less spicy than others might. I was not upset, the dish was delicious and I would definitely recommend it and Bon Me.
Eat here this past week at the Public Market and was some of the best food i have had in a long time. Also very well priced! Wish there was a Bon Me in jersey.
Bon Me wont disappoint you, but it also wont blow you away. Ive had most of their menu across several locations; what you get at one Bon Me is going to taste the same as what you get at any other Bon Me. They mainly sell four kinds of dishes: Sandwiches, salads, rice bowls, noodle salads.SANDWICHES:These are the classic bรกnh mรฌ sandwiches that Bon Me is named after. One of my favorite foods. Personally, I look for three things in a good bรกnh mรฌ: crunchy bread, cold + crisp vegetables, cilantro, and a slightly spicy sauce. Bon Me hits all of these points, so Id call it a passable sandwich, but it could be improved. The bread is crispy, but the sauce isnt viscous enough. It ends up pooling on the bottom of your sandwich, soaking the bread and dripping everywhere. It could also benefit from more daikon radish mixed in with the carrots. The sauce is lightly spicy and definitely flavorful, but again, too watery. All in all, its a good sandwich. Fix the problems above, and its a great sandwich.SALADS / NOODLE SALADS / RICE BOWLS:These are all in one category because theyre extremely similar. You have a main ingredient (lettuce, noodles, or rice), with a protein and a bunch of toppings. If you go with the salad or noodle salad, I suggest the miso lime vinaigrette. You wont be disappointed with any of the proteins. None of them are over-the-top, in-your-face with flavor, but Im assuming may be to allow the other ingredients in the bowl to come through. If they have it when you go, I recommend the Suchuan Peppercorn Chicken, or the Miso-Braised pulled pork. They have a rotating list of special proteins, so be sure to go back every now and then and try something new.Youll end up spending between $8-9 for lunch if you dont get a drink, which is average Boston lunch price. For the food you get, its an average value. You wont leave hungry, but you wont leave over-stuffed; the portions are well thought-out.The staff is always polite and happy. Even with the (verylong lines, they manage to crank out tons of food relatively shortly. Id try to go before 12PM, preferably around 11:30AM, if you dont want to wait in a line.
Get the vietnamese coffee
Food was cold and they didnt even let me use their microwave.
Omg sooooooo good. My mother got me a sub from hear and I felt like I was tasting heaven. First review Ive ever made lol
Loved the tofu meal! Get the salad with mi so lime!
Decent choice for a quick bite.
Outstanding please to grab a quick bite! Sandwiches are amazing here, they got options like chicken, roasted bbq pork, and tofu. Fast and easy! A great mix of Vietnamese and French cuisine.
Spectacular choice for lunch. They give you Anton of food but its not heavy or greasy. The vegetarian options are equally tasty and its pretty reasonably priced. You can get a cheaper lunch in the market but not by much.Def worth checking out, the noodle bowls are my favorite so far.
Yummy food made from fresh ingredients.
The food is definitely worth and trying! It is great for on the run as well! I love getting food from here as pick me up!
Had the (vegetariantofu bahn mi. Was pretty good. Much better than the one I had at the SoWa market food truck. Would get it again but not go out of my way for it.
