Bon Appetit Bistro - Pizzeria - Restaurant in Dubrovnik, Croatia
Really nice well prepared food - and probably the coolest waitress in Croatia
A quick stop off before the ferry. Pizzas were superb and huge. Tap water offered without needing to ask and unfinished pizza was wrapped up to take away, again without us needing to ask. A great small pizzeria with a friendly feel and well presented.
Food was delicious, but service was slow and they brought starters and mains all together but we still enjoyed it.
Really good tuna and shrimp tagliatelle.Perfect lemonade (without added sugarand quick service. Convenient location few minutes outside Dubrovnik bus station.Would definitely recommend.
Great fish plate, excellent service! We loved it!
Great food, reasonable prices for the area and great variety of fruity, freshly made drinks
This is a small place and in high demand but for good reason. We walked over from Dubrovnik old town because of the good reviews and because we had vegetarian in our party. We had to wait a little while for a table but it was worth it. Excellent food and excellent service. Everyone left happy.
Really good food and beer. A bit pricier than others but the friendly waiter and the food make up up for it.
Lovely little cafe. Big salads. Accommodating for allergies. I requested what would I be able to fit my long list of allergies and the waiter asked the chef and replied, you order qhat you want and we will try and make it for you.
When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly and happy looking waitress. Once I was given a seat perfectly positioned in the shade, I order a Cola zero and a chicken salad. The drinks came almost instantly and the food arrived shortly after (15 min). The plate was delicious and very beautifully colorful. It was a very pleasant experience and the waitress was happy with my tip as well :).
Amazing spot. The the OmOm. Includes everythjng and you will be set for the day. Great spot and amazong satff
A good place for a light lunch near Dubrovniks port. The waiters who served us were very nice and the food is absolutly worth the price. We were also pleased to see lot of vegetarian options on the menu.
Excellent food served here. The best octopus I ate in Dubrovnik. Salad was very fresh
Great food for good prices. Friendly staff with great menu. Such nice atmosphere. Paid 135kn for a Coke and amazing Shrimp Tagliatelle. Dessert was 28kn and also amazing
Very helpful with gluten freeI had vegetable risotto and it was one of my best meals in Croatia
Kind personel, very good tastefull food and vine. Perfect place for a break time while waiting the katamaran boat to continue trip to Croatian islands or Split.
Outstanding café /restaurant. Excellent food, lovely staff. We went 5 times in our fortnight in Dubrovnik if that tells you what we thought.
Very good food, nice attentive staff, nice atmosphere. Definitely worth trying!
Outstanding food and service near the harbor. We got tuna risotto, chicken salat and pizza: everything delicious and at reasonable prices
Fries and smoothie were great, but the Tuna smelled like it was days old and resulted in some pretty bad colon issues..Not great at all.
Excellent service, had a brilliant seitan veggie burger and risotto. Interesting drinks menu too.
We ate here three times. Good food, great service and reasonable prices.
Just fantastic... Good food, fantastic service and relation to price..
Great food, with a varied menu, great service and very friendly staff. The prices are very reasonable for Dubrovnik, and for the good quality of food on offer. Definitely recommend for a food and drink stop off.
Great little place in the main ferry and shipping port. Food and drink is good.
Absolutely gorgeous. Had 2 delicious burgers. The meat was so tender and flavoured to perfection. The chips and cocktails were also delicious. Couldnt recommend more 👌
Loved it! Waiter was so helpful with wine choice and food was gorgeous!
Super Price/Value ratio. I had a tuna salad which was really good. My wife had pasta which was also very nice.If you are in the area around the Gruz Market give it a try! I was so exited about my salad and beer that I forgot to make pictures.
Not a good experience... we ordered Margherita pizza and it was super salty, the dough was hard, little tomato sauce loaded in layers of cheese... Very disappointing considering it is a Pizzaria...
Absolutely beautiful food full of flavoursCouldnt recommend it enough and the service very good and friendly
A very nice place! Excellent service, very delicious food (strongly recommendable tuna salad); I had also the calamari grilled (there Slovenia holds the lead, must be saidand some nice local wine, which came to very acceptable prices. Indeed, a not-so-hidden gem in Dubrovnik big area. If I am around again, I will visit them again. All the best!
Very tasty pizza 👍 Reasonable prices. Nice cosy place. I really recommend
BON APPETITO is a very nice harbor bistro right on the other side of the street from the passenger ferry terminal from/to Bari. They serve quite a big menu for very reasonable prices on their small terrace as well as a wide variety of drinks, cocktails.Service is swift, pays attention and is super kind. And, yes, the Google Maps rumors regarding the beautiful Croatian waitress are absolutely true
Went here for two evenings in a row, wine menu is good - white wine was very delicious. Breakfast menu is also very good, have sweet and salty breakfasts and the price is good, as it includes drinks as well. This might be one of the best food places in Dubrovnik, as its not in center and the place is not crowded and overpiced. Both ladies that catared us were very nice too.
the food was delicious and the staff was friendly but at breakfast we got an overripe avocado with black dots. After we asked to replace it, we got another overripe avocado. A dish like this shouldnt be served
Been there 2 times in 2 days. Very nice waiters, tasty food and good prices.
Surprised to find such a gem near the ferry port. But what a pleasant surprise! This was an easy 10 minute walk from the bus station to this restaurant and ferry station. We had just got off a LONG bus ride from Albania so we were hit and hungry!Greeted by the sweetest young woman (short straight brown hair in a ‘bob’ style - thank you for your kind greeting). She saw our backpacks and let us know they had a ‘luggage storage’ corner just inside their cafe. What a great concept!! Also a fun map up on the wall that you could make a note and place were you are from - (Ventura California is now on their wall!).Seating is great on their covered patio. Nice tables and chairs including soft throw blankets in case it’s chilly.Menu was extensive and the best thing is many vegetarian and VEGAN items!!Since August 2 we have been traveling in Portugal, Spain, France, Croatia, Montenegro and Albania. In these almost 8 weeks, we have only found true Vegan here at Bon Appetit and in Albania...go figure!!The waiter was super friendly and nice when he took our order and helped me decide on which vegan dish was the best fit for me today. They have a few 100% vegan dishes on the menu.I enjoyed an iced espresso as it was a warm Saturday. Simply ask for your espresso to be poured over ice (they also offer an iced coffee that is more like a dessert). My husband enjoyed a draft Pivo. The best was my Vegan platter. A vegan patty, grilled veggies, a beautiful salad and a helping of chia ‘pudding’. HUGE amount of food and absolutely wonderful. My husband who is vegetarian enjoyed a Margarita Pizza. The dough looked hand thrown and baked in a wood fired oven. Beautifully presented.Free WiFi. Even nice clean restrooms.Prices were medium. We paid a total of 189Kuna or $28USD. After being in Albania this seems extremely expensive but for Dubrovnik I would think it’s about $$ or €€ level. You will not be disappointed here. From how full it was at 14:00, I think it’s a very popular place. And it deserves its following.Bon Appetit!! Enjoy!
Super meal and great wine with lovely ambiance and prompt, kind service. Convenient location near the bus station and the cruise terminal. Will definitely be back soon
Great place, far from extremely crowded ones and not that expensive too. So we end up eating really well for half the price of the touristic traps.Ive had a pork with prosciutto that was delicious and my wife had the tuna steak. The house was full and we were lucky that only one table far from us were smoking. One downside... the music. I know its hard to please everyone, but sounded like the sort of song you need when you go to the gym or the ones you listen at the clubs.
Really don’t understand the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this place. It was mediocre at best. The pizzas seem decently priced but they are small and taste not - too - much - better than supermarket frozen pizzas. Have included a picture of the bready crust as evidence.Gin and tonic was nice. Service was not good or bad. Price was alright but expensive considering the below average quality.Music was god-awful. Bad covers of a strange selection of pop songs.Updated next day: my girlfriend got sick from eating the chimichanga. Transforming our experience from below average to downright disgusting. Avoid at all costs.
Nice shaded outdoor seating to grab a cold drink or two. The chocolate banana smoothie is tasty but not a lot of liquid. Mostly ice cubes and whipped cream. Still good. I was just hoping for a little bit more for 42 Kuna. Friendly staff.
After a visit to Dubrovnik Beer Company, we made our way down the street to Bon Appetit. One of the specials of the night was a Greek salad, grilled chicken breast, French fries and a glass of house red. What a way to cap off the night.
Very good staff, very good food, the prices are OK. The place is very beautiful, we had a good time here!
Arrived late on a Friday night (10:30). Excellent, polite service. Had a gin & tonic. Excellent gin. Ordered chicken sandwich and fries to eat. Came out in a few quick minutes. Fries super hot and cooked right. Grilled chicken with lettuce and tomato done just right. Staff are friendly and attentive. Great spot for late night service:)
Pretty little bistro with nice outdoor terrace area. Extensive menu and very reasonable prices for the area. Food was lovely and carefully presented. Always busy in the evenings!
The service is fast and efficient. This is a nice restaurant for a quick bite. The lady that served us did a very well job. They also had a ventilator with a water refreshment. This was helping to cool down a bit. Salad portion is good. Water was not very cold but the ice cubes served in a little bucket was the perfect add on.
Really enjoyed this little restaurant. We were on our way to Amfora for dinner but stopped here instead. It was buzzing and the menu looked reasonably priced (Dubrovnik restaurants are quite expensive IMO).Shared the Adriatic fish platter (267HRK). 👌🏻Would recommend it.The sun can get in your eyes if you’re facing the road at sunset so a tip would be to sit towards the middle or back of the restaurant terrace. It also means you’re subjected to less noise from the road.
Easily the best value restaurant in Dubrovnik. Well worth eating here instead of anywhere near Old City. A total gem in service, generous wine pours, presentation and food quality. Gets busy but you can walk in at peak and get a table if youre a pair.
The food are very delicious and staff are really friendly, served always with smiles. 👍🏼 The three little piggies is a must try, super delicious.
In one word ... amazing place! My first time here, just on quick beer but experience with the place was just great. Ill get back soon and get a bite and Ill write some more about food ...
