Bombay Masala - Indian restaurant in Douala, Cameroon
It was very interesting to see other cultures, the service was very good and its quiet
For Indians, it is one of the best restaurants in the Douala city cameroonCentral Africa. It provides both vegetarian and non vegetarian cuisines. Also they provide alcohol and liquor. All good Indian chefs and local waiters are present. Would recommend 10/10. For viewing check my video n photos
Waste my money.
Great resto !
Excellent food and staff
Beautiful restaurant located in Bonapriso, suitable for a pair or small groupsVery engaged staff, who will make customers feel at ease immediately they step through the doorGreat cuisine, great service, tip-top hygiene conditions, and exotic decor with an Indian theme, as suggested by the name. Expect your taste buds to be delightedThe price ranges here are quite high, but you will get great value for your money
One of the most cozy restaurants around the Doaula , with variety of foods and drinks available. The place and ambient is awesome and one will really feel pleasant on arrival . The staff is extremely friendly and professional, they know the hospitality and guest needs . Food is really tasty and service is really great . Cost is ok ok . Location is easy to find with ample parking . Loved food here .
Quit expensive but quality is good and extreme level of service, must try it out
Wow I will start with customer service which is always the key in every business I give a 10/10 decor superb I mean awesome lovely and cute place you know it was a great experience because I have never eaten such meals before and it was nice its true the meals are expensive but every other thing there is a success
The service is top notch, perfect location. I ate from the chinese menu. Food is delicious, what more can I say?
Its a good restaurant and delicious food, serves typically Asian and Indian food
Best restaurant in town. A lot of variety indian & Chinese food. Very clean place. They do also take away & Delivery.
The venue itself was very beautiful and welcoming. Music was also appropriate for a calm business dinner or to eat with your partner. We ordered Mutton Dum Biryani (8000 XAFwhich was tasty and nicely presented with a big portion. We also had crab masala (8500 XAFwhich had such a small portion (it would have been good to suggest a side dish). Luckily we had Punjabi chicken wings (6500 XAFas starter but they were not extraordinary. The waiter was friendly and had beautiful traditional clothing. However, she seemed to lack experience and also served our wine with broken cork inside (too bad as the wine was not cheap). We payed around 60.000 XAF for both of us which makes me find the place overrated, despite design efforts and a friendly salutation of the manager at the end.
a very good restaurant with cozy environment. well decorated with indian culture. price is reasonably high
The food is absolutely amazing. The whole experience was great
Loved the food. The customer service was on point. Have a very good time over there. I highly recommend
Good authentic indian food with superb taste
Such great tasting food. Chicken korma was creamy, naan was light but buttery, with proper long grain rice steamed perfectly. Finished off with a thick mango lassi. The atmosphere was great with enough but not too much lighting. The music a chill out mix of Indian chill-beats so you don’t feel like you’re eating in a temple but a modern fine restaurant. The decorations are Indian but not over the top and the furniture looks like it was bought yesterday. Some say the food is over priced but the portions were large and it’s a nice restaurant so you’d expect to pay a little more.I would have liked to enjoy a real Indian beer like Kingfisher but understandably it’s probably impossible to get things from Indian right now. I had to walk a bit as the Google place marker was wrong. Incase it’s still not updated, look for Bombay Masala near the One Rooftop Bar & Lounge.
One of the best asian restaurant around. Excellent taste of Indian cuisine. Very good ambience. Its definitely lives upto its name. Must try variety of Indian dishes they offer in their menu.
I enjoyed their pan fried fish n french fries. Clean and quiet environment. Welcoming and friendly staff.
Fine dine place for Indian, Asian and Chinese food. Lot of Indian cuisine.
It is a place where customers feel like the are home very unique and delicious dishes are prepared in Bombay masala
I love love Bombay Masala! Its got to be my favourite restaurant. Great customer service, excellent food, amazing decor. The only cons would be for the overly priced dishes. Or else i wouldve been visiting every other week😉
Only Indian restaurant in Cameroon which I know so far. Taste and quality is superb..
Best Indian food I have ever had. And honestly, I have somewhat experience around the globe. Price is a bit high compare to other places but it’s absolutely worth it. Mutton Kashmiri Rogan Josh is my favorite, awesome with Cheese Naan. Absolutely must go place if you are the Indian food lover.
Great food, excellent serviceIts a bit pricy though.
Loved the Serenity! Service is top notch! I had a plate of chicken salad and glass of Chardonay which was absolutely amazing!!
The starters and the main course were very delicious.I enjoyed my lunch in Bombay Masala!
The food is actually very good, but unfortunately some of the staff clearly think the customers are fools. Not for the first time, I caught them either delivering side dishes which had not been ordered (and charging for them, even though they were sent backor even adding charges for dishes that simply didnt exist. If you do go here, check your bill VERY carefully.
In addition to the decoration that reminds everything of India, the waitresses and the mistress welcome you in traditional dress. Once you enter, you are like if engulfed by the atmosphere worthy of a Bollywood film, folklore and gastronomy are at the rendezvous. If you want to taste Asian cuisine in general, Indian and Pakistani in particular, go there with your eyes closed.#LetsGuide #Wakawaka #OngoogleMaps
Nice authentic Indian restaurant at the city. The restaurant is around 12yrs old and can tickle your tastebuds with Indian spicy dishes. Atmosphere is quite good and a brilliant decor inside. The most catching part is the waitress are wearing Indian attire and they are soft spoken. Weve ordered tandori paneer, mutton roganjosh, chichen Bombay masala and we enjoyed our food. Well done BM full star to you.
Its a Indian Restaurant and delicious food. Ambience is attractive and taste of food is really good. When we are in Africa, its not easy to find Indian food. Bombay Masala is serving since long. They also do delivery of food at your hotel room.
Great ambience and excellent food eith authentic indian flavour!A must visit if in Douala!
they serve good indian spicy food. Not a big fan of the hindi fragrance in the restaurant though but the food was quite good.
Nice ambience. Quick service. Affordable. Not costly. Overall very good
Wonderful clean good food all you expect you would find it professional chef and management
A true gem in Douala. The food is really good with generous portions. Price is a little high but not restrictive. Very good ambience with great service. The waitress is eager to assist but may need some translation which the manager is happy to assist with. Very clean with a good selection on the menu. I would recommend the mutton vindaloo, a little bit more spicey than the rest of the dishes but not unpleantly hot, not for the faint of heart though.
Expensive as hell but really good for Africa.
Food is good with courteous staff. It serves drinks as well. Cuisine is Indian, Chinese & Thai. Well connected to road so one can get taxi at anytime. Only drawback is it opens in evening & not in day
Cozy restaurant, good for Indian food lovers. Their desserts are awesome! The bar at the top of the restaurant is also nice with a great view of the street.
The restaurant is very clean and big. Staff is lovely. And the food, simply perfect!
One of My favourite spot in Douala. Welcoming staff great cocktails ,make sure to stop by if you are in Town 👍
Indian food is not good with blend taste no spicy. Also make sure you have money to pay by cash as they dont except card bellow 15000 XAF.
Indian Restaurant. Delicious Food. Good ambience. Good alcohol options. Manager very helpful. Value for money.
One of the best places to have Indian food. This place also have good lounge.I prefer to sit in lounge, you know bit more comfortable when compared to traditional sittings of restaurants 😇My personal experience food presentation is good 👍 but taste wise it can be improved. Also its bit on an expensive side.
Great meal menus a bit all over the place but we had chicken chill jalfrazi which was mint!
Best place to have Indian food in Douala, lot of varieties and good taste.
Sole Indian restaurant in town. Good food. Just a floor above is the XO bar. Plush milieu
