Bom Bom Beach Bar at Island Plantation in Bocas del Toro

Biked from main town so was pretty tired and hungry but had probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. BOM burger!! It was also just so beautiful we had to have a piña colada before the bike ride back. The waitress was also really nice to us and very attentive.

Essen war super, Portionen könnten etwas größer sein. Preise waren auch angemessen. Personal etwas langsam. Location ist der Hammer, wunderschön, alleine dafür lohnt es sich schon.

Great place on Playa Bluff, very cool vibes and nice decoration / seating options. Would definitely come back for drinks. The food menu looked a bit overpriced but havent tired anything

Laut Homepage bis 20:30 Uhr Dinner, stimmt leider nicht, ab 18:00 Uhr nur noch Bier und Cocktails. Enttäuschend auch der Service, nicht zu empfehlen!

En vacances à Bocas quelques semaines Nous y avons été pendant que cétait tenu par Clem et Charles, tout était parfait. Depuis laccueil jusquà la nourriture et les cocktails. Cest dailleurs POUR EUX que nous y sommes allés à la base, nous les avions rencontrés quelques jours avant.Nous y sommes retournés récemment et apparemment les anciens gérants sont de retour? Nous navons rien compris. Cest bien dommage car ce sont des personnes assez peu recommandables daprès leur comportement. Le bar est laissé à labandon aux employés qui font de leur mieux mais qui ne sen sortent pas. La nourriture nest plus ce quelle était..Plus aucun intérêt dy aller.

Poor service and worst smoothie everThe menu was very small, no seafood except a ceviche at 12$ and the portion was ridiculous.When we asked why, the waiter was quite impolite. We have to wait 1h15 for our order. Don t even think to try the smoothies it was very bad and make us a little bit sick. Very small chicken portion at 14$, better bring a picnic!

Poor service, misattention, lack of interesting in customers.

Under new management and I was thrilled. Clem is super friendly, helped with some island info and just all around great.Her brother does the cooking and wow! I havent had tapas like this since Barcelona a few years ago. I tried them all. I loved them all.Its a bit of a haul to get out to BomBom, but the food is so worth it. The atmosphere is picture perfect. The massive waves create a calming sound and the view is uninterrupted. Go during the day and hop on the local bus (from the main park its the Bluff busor take a cab at night and enjoy a marvelous sunset. BomBom cannot disappoint!

Si están buscando disfrutar de la mejor comida y bebida de la isla de Bocas del Toro, encontrarán su paraíso en el Bom Bom. Déjense embriagar por el fervor de la barra con los sabrosísimos cócteles de Victoire y Charly. Piérdanse en su pista de baile (hay salsa!o descanse a la sombra de una palmera y déjense sorprender por los ricos sabores de las tapas tropicales con pedigree francés. Una experiencia inolvidable!

Nice bar... Actually the only place to get some beers on Playa Bluff. Maybe a bit pricey, but well they dont have competition)

Came from Bocas town for sandy beach hangout (I rode MTB rented from Ixa, bf came by bus, I beat him here). Bartenders very friendly. I saw them taste and then dump an entire blender full of margaritas, with the alcohol already added, because something was "amargo," which spoke highly of their quality control. Frozen pina coladas ($6were the absolute bomb, needless to say. Waiting on a pizza now!

Das ist für mich „The Place to be“ am Bluff Beach: Gute Musik, gute Drinks und Gerichte. Das Ambiente ist natürlich das einer Beachbar und die Jungs sind gut gelaunt und sehr aufmerksam. Man kann den Surfern zu schauen und hat das Gefühl einen unentdeckten Ort in Panama gefunden zu haben. Ich war mir dem Fahrrad dort und würde es jederzeit wieder machen.

We went to Bom Bom beach looking for a perfect location for my daughter and her fiancé to propose. We found Paradise in Paradise. What a great location!! The Place was awesome and the beach was so beautiful! We fell in love with the location immediately. My future son in law and I thought it was the perfect location. We set up the after proposal celebration with Jesus, the Supervisor, who was amazing, he was so professional and attentive to our every need. From flowers, to cake, to food, to the champagne serving, to the atmosphere, to the service, etc., him and his staff made sure everything was perfect for my daughter and her fiancé and family to celebrate the engagement after the proposal. I want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts, for such and amazing treatment and excellent customer service. We look forward to coming there again, and we recommend this amazing and beautiful place to anyone. You won’t regret it!

Gute Pizzen, kühles Bier, heiße Rhythmen und freundliches Personal, Zeit spielt hier keine Rolle. Toller Ausblick auf das Meer. Super Strand.

+ schöne Strandbar mit Sonnenliegen und Loungemöbeln+ Essen und Trinken auf der Karte+ Cocktails 🍸 sind ganz gut+ Probiert die Batidas! Das sind Shakes aus frischen Früchten mit oder ohne Milch+ Eigentümer ein US/Norway Pärchen die von Qualität Ahnung haben- langsamer Service, aber wozu die Hektik hier?- keine happy hour entdeckt

Glorious beach bar with great pizza and crevice!

Staff didn’t say hi and wasn’t very friendly overall. Drinks are quite expensive and are served in paper cups which doesnt fit the price as it feels a bit cheap/lazy. We were still hungry after 2 bruschetta’s for $6 per person, but we didn’t feel like spending any more money at this bar. The location is awesome and it could (and on other days very well mightbe a great place for food and drinks, but our experience was a bit of a let down. Needless to say, when we left, the staff didn’t bother to say goodbye.

Жахливий сервіс (офіціант приніс один набір приборів і проігнорував мою прозьбу принести ще один для нас двох. Високі ціни. Смузі принесли в паперовому стакані при ціні в 4$. Їжа американізована. Жодної згадки про панаму. Не хотів би туди повертатися.

En una isla llena de mala comida y terribles precios este sitio es como el cielo. Para llegar acá debes tomar un pequeño bus que pasa cada 40 minutos desde la plaza central por 6 dólares ida y vuelta. Este sitio tiene espacio suficiente para unas 50 o 60 personas, con sofás, sillas, mesas y hamacas cuenta precio acordes a la calidad de la comida y una muy buena atención.

This bar, I have learned, was constructed recently in the nature preserve for endangered sea turtles. The nesting beach has been destroyed. Talk to the turtle conservancy in town for more information on this place. Shame

Excelente lugar, olas mágicas y furiosas. El chico del bar es un genio :Fue muy amable con mi veterana madre

El lugar dispone de camastros gratuitos, una pequeña mesa para apoyar objetos, una barra en la que preparan ricos cocteles, exquisitas pizzas y una variedad de bebidas de 12 a 5pm. No tiene sombrillas, sin embargo, la playa está rodeada de palmeras y éstas brindan sombra al usuario. El servicio de atención es bueno en general. La entrada está Justo en frente del Island Plantation Hotel.

Bar mit kostenlosen Liegestühlen bei Bar konsumation. Bier kostet 2.40$ und Cocktails gibt es ab 6$. Leider keine Sonnenschirme, jedoch Palmen die Schatten geben. Duschen gibt es leider auch keine. Direkt am Weg. Kann nicht verfehlt werden.
