As far as a circus performance goes, this is the creme de la creme. One of the best circus establishments in not only Russia but the world, its rich history and art form are truly showcased here. Great entertainment value. Amazing except for the seats

Wow. Just WOW :while living in Moscow I used to think that this circus is the worse of the two circuses in Moscow. But we visited both during this visit and this circus by far was superior. The show has a story, clowns are funny, acrobats are skillful and creative, and animals are great (horses, sea lions, tigers, lions, etc). And thats the only place in Moscow which actually put in place at least some COVID-19 precautions.Thats sort of a Russian "circ de soile" or even better!

I loved the whole experience. Yes people may say using animals for circus is not ethical treatment and all, but to all those people my question is simple : are you eating any animals for meals? Then the treatment of circus animals is better than the food on your plate.But apart from animals, the other shows were also really cool.

The circus was very enjoying, every 5 min the show changes so you will not get bored. The prices was reasonable & it suits for adults and children, i really enjoyed it.

One of the best circus i have ever seen. Great performance. Price is really worth of the performance. Well arranged everything. I like the animal show as its very rear to see such a great work.Overall whole the time they were keep my eyes on performance floor. Well flow of activities. Some are dangerous, but interested.

Talented performers. Beautiful show. My only issue was they used wild animals like Puma And Hippos in the show.A note to the Circus Owners: Your whole crew is so talented. You dont need wild animals to elevate your shows quality. Please dont use them.🙏

So if you want to go see a great circus in Russia this is the place. This is a circus with animals in the acts and a great story line for the entire event. The stadium is circular of great size and seating options were wonderful where you can see the entire show from almost anywhere. The acrobatics are top quality. The effects are great. Highly recommend as a place to go to.

Would 10/10 recommend visiting the Moscow State Circus if you’re looking for a night filled with whimsical wonder. The performances were breathtaking, the animals were majestic and there wasn’t a single second when we weren’t entertained by everything that was happening in front of us. It was, for sure, a night to remember.

I hated because they used animals. I really dont have any pleasure watching poor creature perform. Poor hippos were made to perform some stupid act. Please leave them alone. There were dogs and wild cats too. Humans please let them free.

Nice show. It has an great staging, nice costumes, and very talented cast. It includes some dancing, different impressive acrobacies and scenes with animals like: camels, dogs, monkeys, horses, even parrots (all of them looked healthy and well cared). You can buy your tickets online and choose the sector in which you want to be seated. The show develops in front of the A sector, and the rows are placed at a diferent height between them, enough to prevent those in front of you blocking the views to the show, even for the kids. Theres a metro station very close to the facility and a few restaurants around.

Worth to visit a Russian circus.. Although it was a little longer than expected but worth every penny spent.

Not the traditional kind of circus I was expecting. But the performances in the circus are really breathtaking. I can’t imagine how much effort did those performers pay behind the scenes. Really appreciate the phenomenal work they have done!

The Bolshoi Circus - Bolshoi means Big is not like any circus you would imagine. The theme was Sandy Tale- all about Arabian Kings, Queens, cohorts, genies, exotic animals-even hippos and a good amount of comedy. The acrobatics, athleticism, costumes, lighting, etc are mind blowing. Dont miss it. Revel in it.

Great place to see the worlds best circus probably. However the 3 stars because I felt sorry for the animals they used. Didnt know that circus is still allowed to use animals and I would not go if I knew. Hippopotamus dancing was outrageous in my opinion. Nevertheless my daughter enjoyed the other acts. Specially one love sequence dance performance was breath taking.

Best show I saw in a while. I am drim Canada and I have seen every Cique du Soleil show that comes to Vancouver and this was Better! Pay for front row you wont be disappointed!

Hippos, monkeys and amazing showmanship, this puts Cirque du Soleil to shame. This really is last remaining circus in the world!

ANIMAL ABUSERSFor the first quarter of the show, we enjoyed incredible acts of human skill and talent.Things quickly took a turn for the worse when the tigers and lions were brought to the arena for their “performance”. It’s disgusting to watch such beautiful wild animals whimper away from their trainers in fear, and imagine what training techniques must be implemented for this behaviour to occur.We left during the intermission after hearing that horse and bear “performances” would take place in the second half.The animal acts were completely unnecessary, particularly given that the human acts were so amazing. There is no place for this in 2018.I feel sick that I attended this circus and supported this animal abuse. I urge you to not make the same mistake I did!!

Great show. It’s 3 hours with a 25 minute break but it’s a good time for the whole family. The animals are nice and the performers are truly amazing. So glad we made the trip from NYC.

Simply the best experience of my lifetime... starting with the jugglers, the performances by Brazil, Croatia, France, England, Russia and India... the amazing lions, tigers, horses, bears and monkey, the singing lady.. all contributed to the overall "WOW" experience!

for children no younger than 5-6 years. my 4-year-old did not evict the entire program, but for me it was very interesting. the gymnasts were especially pleased. horses are fantastic. tigers are not impressed.

Always a pleasure to witness a Russian Circus. Had all ingredients of an enchanting performance- clowns, trapeeze artists, animals and all these strung in a story. A must see.

Just saw it last night again.. Not as good as it was at last performance. Its good entertainment but the idiot with red hair was no act at all... he wasted nearly 1 hour of our money. It will be much better without that stupid in the show.

I only gave this show one star because thats the least you can give it. This is a horrible circus where they force depressed-looking animals to do horrible tricks for the audiences pleasure. They are dressed up in stupid costumes with a strap around their mouths. You should have seen their poor faces. Please dont go and support this treatment of animals. Its pure torture

Is an amazing place for visiting with kids and family. The circus is always offering a wide number of shows of high Quality on aspects like visual effects, acrobacy and story. Is really recommended going to this place!!

Absolutely amazing circus and performances. Really enjoyed every moment! We went to Chelsea, London, circus to see the Gostinitsa show. Massively recommended to all, whatever age you are!

I took my baby 8 months years old to Moscow Circus today and of course was her first experience, I dont remember I have seen she so happy. Moscow Circus always was and always will be the best in this planet. There is not doubt about it.

Great Performances and an amazing dynamic environment! That was my second time watching The Moscow State Circus and I did enjoyed it again from the bottom of my heart. Thank you to the cool Clown who toke me on the stage and made me to be part of his date time. I had so much fun! The interaction with the public was very nice and everyone seemed to be enjoying every part of it. So many talented people! Well done to all of you and I wish you the very best of good luck with your International Performances! Looking forward to seeing you in your next visit to England.

Fantastic performance in Bournemouth. They are all amazing! I loved it and will go again next year and will bring all my friends to watch. 10 out of 10!

If you care about animals, stay clear of this circus!The show in general and the acrobatics surely deserve 5 stars! However, I was somehow of the impression that this circus would be acrobats and clowns only, so I was surprised to see an act with dogs. I thought, okay, dogs love people and people teach their dogs tricks, so fine. Then, a bit later there was an act including horses and I started to get a little annoyed. However, it was mostly acrobatics really, and except for running in a circle the horses didnt really have to do anything, so I could just about live with it. But then the final act: 9 tigers and 2 lions. What the hell for? And it wasnt even any good: The cats seemed to hate it (and I think you can see that easily in cats), and they hardly did what they were supposed to do - despite the "encouragement". It ruined the whole experience for me!Sure, I guess I should have researched better, but this is why Im writing this, for others not step in the same trap.

This summer (2017they had a wonderful program with tigers and lions, dogs, horses, acrobats, beautiful dancers and other great stuff. The light and costumes were awesome, everything was very well planned and done.
