Bollywood Street Food - Indian restaurant in Szczecin, Poland
Very rude and unfriendly service! I dont recommend!
I have been visiting here everytime I was coming to Szczecin, but it was the last time. The waitress is acting that he is forced to work here, or customers are his enemy! We asked for something and he was answering very rude! I would not come here again, unless I want to be treated very badly!
Tasty food, but very rude staff! We visited here on Tuesday 4 October night about 9 pm, both waitress guys were absolutely rude! It wouldnt kill you to put a smile on the face and serve people that they can enjoy the food! It would be a good experience here if the staff would be more friendly!
Very unfriendly and ignorant waiters.Good food but the behavior of the waiters made it not worthy.Tuesday 4th October 2022.
Delicious food and fantastic service.Thank you
Very unkind waiters!
Delicious and nice location!
Rude waiters. On a sunday evening, they say thay they serve only if we have tables reserved. Even though the whole reataurant was empty. Inside and outside.
STAY AWAY EVERYONE!Not welcoming at all. We were sent out at 21:50 hrs with the ‘excuse’ that the kitchen is closed although they were still taking orders. Closing time is 23:00 hrs.Utter discrimination and no respect for the guests. We have visited so many professional and authentic restaurants from this region but never experienced anything like this before.
Food served was so delicious and mouth watering 😍. But didnt get an opportunity to experience the exotic feeling inside the restaurant. Because we got a table outside the restaurant. Thus the rating reduced a bit 😉
I had a lunch special, a plate with several small dishes. Only naan bread resembled taste of India, the rest was just OK. In my opinion having Polish surówka on my plate made no sense.
Food was really nice, minus pakora which tasted like nothing. Service on the slower side but professional also…surprisingly very formal for a street food place.
The food in Bollywood Street Food is great - no less. No holding back on the spices and the ingredients are very nice. The service, however, is very slow. We waited about 40 minutes for our food which is really not OK. The waiter seemed to think this was normal, so arm yourself with patience for an otherwise good meal.
Nice sitting outside, fine service, good food, I liked that the lunch came with small appetizer and salad.
Best food. Feels like indian test. i recommend for those people who want take indian test. And yes try chicken 65. 👌👌👌👌
Their palak tofu is amazing. I loved the experience. The next time Im in Szczecin, Ill definetely come here 💜
Awesome decorationsIm to see all decorations.Im so much happy.ThanksBollywood street food.
The taste was really good. The service was also on top. The prices were a bit high but still not bad.
Really nice service and they speak English very well. The terrace has a really good vibe. Short waiting time.
I am amazed with all negative comments. I love Indian cousin and tried it around the world. I can say food and service over here was at very high level. Maybe others were unlucky or it was different chef. I was really pleased with my lunch and highly recommend it.
Super food, caring waiters, excellent spices, fun music. Must go again even if parking is horror.
We ended up in this restaurant because all other places had cosed their kitchens for the evening and we were very grateful to get some food. The service was very nice but also suspiciously quick (We were served the food within 5 minutes which is why I suspect that this food was reheated and not freshly made.).I ordered "fresh mango juice" and got a drink that tasted like mango sirup and dried mango bits.We had a plate with an assortment of different vegetarian dishes: The lentil cracker (papadamwith the mint sauce was nice. The naan was also tasty. But the rest on the plate was more amusing that tasty: The "curry" had the typical assortment of freezer vegetables in it (and they tasted like it). It was barely seasoned. The spicy tomato sauce was merely seasoned with cilantro and therefore also quite boring. Then there was the "paneer in almond sauce" and let me tell you: if you ever have tasted a somewhat authentic indian cuisine made by indian people, a fried mozzarella in a (somehowsweet cream sauce will take you by surprise! That was no indian "paneer" and it also didnt fit the tastes of tge other dishes. There also was a cabbage salad that didnt fit in.Then there was the rice: Not an indian type of rice, also not an indian way of rice preparation. It was seasoned with just raw cardamom powder (?and there was freezer vegetables mixed in. All in all: It was edible, but of all indian food that I ever tasted - including my own humble attempts at indian dishes - it was decidedly the worst. Maybe the cook should buy some authentic indian recipe books...
The food is very nice, but as soon as the waiter realized I and my friend are foreigners they started being very rude.
Only name is indian. They monkeys dont know how to serve the Indian food .We have got brot without plates. Restaurant is a joke from donkeys. After some time i have ask for plates. Otherwise they serve in folio. Idiiits.
😬😬. What a disappointing experience. Two stars for Ambience, treatment from the Serving personal and the presentation of the dishes. We started with a Masala chai and a Mango Lassi.Want to rate an Indian restaurant who present themselves as Authentic?? try the Masala Chai first. Is that real hard to make a good Indian milk tea??Well, if the chef thought pouring milk into hot water is enough for a Masala chai then present it that way. 🙆♂️🙆♂️Don’t even want to mention the Mango lassi here. The only dishes I would say Passable are the Tandoori platter and Channa masala for the Batura. But the Batura?? Don’t try that.Kashmiri Lamb: Please don’t call it that if you put cooked lamb in Tomato gravy 🤮. Same goes for Malai chicken. We knew as soon as we began eating, its not gonna end up well.Well, we were right. Two of us had food poisoning from the “Authentic Indian” food served at this great restaurant. Now, just a little advice to the management.Nothing is gonna happen to your restaurant with my review. People will keep coming to your place and your business will still be successful. However, think about what a scam to call it Authentic Indian food when someone really wants to eat something, and you present a food made by an unskilled Chef. You should ask your Chef where did they learn to cook. Its not hard to cook good food. Just need to put their heart into it.I hope you will double check your standards and change in the future.Good luck
Great location and ambience, the food was pretty tasty as well.
Were very satisfied with the food, location and service. If you stay in Stettin dont miss to visit this place its really highly recommended.nice to hear that the waiter can speak in English. Good Job!
Very good food, nice prices and nice service 👍👍👍
I visited with a group and it was wonderful. The food didnt take terribly long to get. My dish was mouth-watering and so were the others. Best Indian food Ive ever had. Highly recommend and the prices arent even that bad. The service was also really kind and quick with everything. Id recommend the Masala chai.
Not understand hows this is top rated. We are in this restaurant around 22.15 and they said we are closed, even I said we make sure before coming to your place is open in your website.Staff saying " sorry we close" we dont know about website. So short story for tourist , dont believe on there website feel lucky if they serve you@@@#@##@Sorry for this review , but I like to talk with Director of the company if Directors feel free to talk???????
What a service, we tried to book a table there, but Polish worker put phone aside and we were waiting for 5 minutes, then we disconnected and tried to call again, then they did not pickup. We are reputed citizens of Poland and working here in good pay, I can assume the services in restuarant. Not recommended at all..
Hello guys. This is a proper cook parathe right?Guys I ordered malabar flaky paratha and they give me uncooked nan probably they dont know what is a difference between nan and malabar flaky paratha but I know. Really very bad experience😠😠.Please be honest with your job Bollywood street food.In India we say customer is our god and hear I dont know what you think.
A good resturants. The kids found nuggets to eat. Seems they enjoyed the television (showing Bollywood songsmore than the food. A bit expensive. Good style.
Very tasty and delicious meals, nicely served. Professional and friendly staff.
Best food and best service. Special thanks to waiter Miłosz, who made my visit so great !
I ordered channa bathura dish and waited at least 30 min. for it. Normally this is good in a good restaurant to wait. Then I got some mushy, gluy stuff in light crimson red with no taste of onion, tomatos, coriander or Indian spices at all. It was red and sticky like some cranberry jam. No taste, no texture of channa or chole. I did not get any bread (only rice and saladto it so it was channa without batura. I asked the waiter. He politely told me that kitchen is preparing batura for me. I waited another 30 min. with no hope for my batura. Then again I asked the waiter and he again was surprised that my dish was lacking any ingredient. Then he tried to persuade me that this dish is south Indian so the artificial redness of my dish, jelly structure and no taste at all is typical for this region. Do not rekommend this restaurant to anybody who tried the true Indian food. The chief in this restaurand should check how the Indian dishes look like because he/she clearly have no idea. Also using Indian names of food means that all parts of dishes should be included.
The food was not up to the mark. Quite a disappointment
Honestly this is one of the best Indian places Ive seen in a while. I didnt have high hopes and it completely blew me out of the water. The service was amazing, the food delicious and well plated, and the prices super reasonable!
Awesome Indian restaurant. Tasty and big portions with great wines and cocktails. 5/5 would recommend!
good service! And handsome waiter. 😅But food is not actually Indian food.It is simular. They poratha is not fresh! They take out from freezer. And not even coke well. And they served to me,waiter seen my face I was unhappy what I got, so he took it and after 5 min bring back to me.At least he find out something was wrong. The curry was to much mixed with spicesSo you really dont have best taste.I think just waiter was the best atraction in this restaurant.
Made specific order for dietary requirements, and food came back having ignored our request. Asked for the bill as we were in a rush to leave, the waiter acknowledged it, and then proceeded to clean tables for ten minutes until we asked again.Food quality was reasonable. Not as good as reviews here and on TripAdvisor would suggest. Price was very reasonable.
Had the chicken tikka and it was really good. About a 20min wait for the main entree so not bad at all. Restaurant was clean and waiter was very nice and helpful. Overall a great place to enjoy some good food with friends.
Ambience is good. Friendly staff. Food may seem very likeable to a non-Indian. But for indians, its clearly exaggerated with unnecessary food colors.
I have been eating Indian food many times across the world. But this restaurant had me surprised. Exelent flavor and composition. I tryed two different dishes, the dragon chicken and Lamb in tomato saus. Both amazing good. And the wedgie Reis is perfect. The service was excellent, very friendly and he had a very good knowledge about the food. This restaurant is a must try in Stettin. 5 Stars from me. I will defently come back. Thank you Bollywood, for an exelent day.
I like how they have got the right balance between too much spicy and just enough flavour. Indians do like our food too spicy yet this didnt seem bland to me. Perfect place for non Indians to try out the food , yet not getting overwhelmed by too much of Indian spices.
Myself and 3 friends are here tonight. Im incredibly impressed, without doubt the finest Indian food i have eaten anywhere. An absolute triumph in taste, so much so that i insisted our waiter ( incredibly good at his job go and give the chef my thanks and praise. My friends and i are going back tomorrow evening.very impressed.
Amazing vegetarian menu. Not a vegetarian myself but Id go there every once in a while to try the different vegetarian dishes. Plus the view outdoors is amazing and the atmosphere inside seemed great as well. The plates looked good and even if it doesnt look much, it filles the stomach well.
Great food, even better service. Liked how all dishes got explained to me. Definitely coming back.
Edit: the first time I went, I was really let down by the food, but I went back today to try again and it was completely different, incredible food and lovely service. They seem to have really come into their own and everything is running smoothly :D
Excellent location nearby Castle of Pomeranian Princessesss in Szczecin. Cuisine is quite exotic compared to typical Polish dishes. The only drawback of this venue is prices. Much tooooooo high !
