Brussels, Belgium, Sint-Genesius-Rode
Designed in 1861 to look like a natural landscape, this park features many trees & water features.
Reminds me of prospect park. Really pretty and well designed. Amazing in the summer for picnics!
Visiting in autumn, pretty amazing.
Huge and peaceful park with the tallest trees Ive seen in my life!
Nice for walking and take a rest in cafe
Beautiful place, good for taking a walk, running, cycling or just meet friends.
My favorite place to go! Its a nice place to have a picnic or spend time with your family!
Amazing parc which became car free since COVID lockdown. Ideal for walks, exercising, cycling, skating, learning your kids to cycle, etc. There are several places to grab something eat or drink, theres a lake, many hidden paths in the woods, two playgrounds, lots of green fields to have a picnic...
I feel so unsureAs I take your hand and lead you to the dance floorAs the music dies, something in your eyesCalls to mind a silver screenAnd all its sad good-byesIm never gonna dance againGuilty feet have got no rhythmThough its easy to pretendI know youre not a fool
The largest and most beautiful parc in Brussels. Not only good to lay on grass but also to do many activities zsuch us renting a small boat, or horse riding.
Beautiful and big park/woods not too far from the center of town. The walking paths are clearly marked and there is enough to entertain yourself if just enjoying nature doesnt cut. You can find a few beer gardens, cafés, a lake on which you can rent pedal boats, areas for biking or skating, etc.
Very beautiful place
Beautiful park in Brussels, accessible by public transport.
Just a perfectly quiet place where you can feel like outside of a busy city, if this is what you want.
A combination between a forest and a park. Very pleasant during summer hot days. Drinks, music, sunbathing, boats on the lake.
Beautiful and large green space in the heart of Brussels. Great for running , skating and cycling or walking. In the centre one can find the Chalet Robinson where they offer a great brunch or dining experience. That place is truly fantastic and only accessible via tiny ferry. You can do boating price 10 euro for family boat for 30 minute. You can plan your picnic entire day- you can bring frisbees, badminton, football or other playing material and can enjoy whole day.Theres also a nice playground not far and overall it has a chill atmosphere.
Its one of my favourite parks in Brussels. Its perfect for a walk in the nature. There are also nice cafes and restaurants around. During the weekend, its usually packed with people.
Beautiful park to have a summer picnic 🧺
Something for everyone and loads of space oin this wood/park. If you want to join for relaxed sporty options, lots of people play on the main field by the lake. Also hosts loads of events throughout the year. The food/drink options around the park (mostly the standsget busy and the services takes forever which is a real bummer.Bring your own food and drinks.
Very WOW and very good coin coin 🦆And a good place to ksks too
Very nice park to spend a sunny and lazy Sunday. It is worth walking there with a picnic basket and enjoying your breakfast next to a beautiful pond. Only a kid playground is missing. Other than that, it is excellent!
Beautiful urban park in Brussels! with lots of greenery and a small lake, it is very pretty and well landscaped. Its a good place to spend some time in nature while being inside the city.
It is a very good park with lots of old and lovely trees, strongly recommend to visit.
Wonderful park to visit. Has open spaces surrounding a nice lake. In spring you can also enjoy pedal boats (10 euros for 30 minutes). You can also find nice cycle tracks for biking.
A great park close to the city, accessible by tramline 25. The park has huge open spaces and beautiful lanes through the wood. There are 2 kiosks to have a drink or food, and there is the very special Chalet Robinson, accessible by boat only. The boat comes to take you over for only € 1,00. On the island you can of course have a meal or drink, but you can as well rent a rowing boat or pedalo and play jeu de boules. And you can be lazy and sit back in the beautiful summer bar area.
Lovely and cozy place for a peaceful time! Plenty of space for car also, toilettes and cafes available

Very social park in Brussels with many bars and its dog friendly. Its always a good idea to take a walk over there!
Park in center of Brussels, big space for everyone, walking, sport, meet, restaurants, many activities. Safe place for family and kids. Beautiful power green. Love 💕
The best place for a run. For those who like to chill the little cafe is pretty good
Beautiful park with so many children and dogs running around! Peaceful place to walk & talk. Highly recommend grabbing a €1 waffle from the truck while you’re there!
Bois de la Cambre is a massive park outside central Brussels. Absolutely beautiful. A great place to relax, walk, jog, cycle or be active.
Very calm place and lots of people around always. Its satisfying to just relax in front of the Bios la Cambre lake with a bottle of coke and some book to read.
Beautiful large city park with lots of trails for walking and running. Cozy cafes / restaurants to escape from the concrete :Take a picnic blanket and enjoy by the lake or sit in one of the restaurants. Enjoy waffles or just observe the trees. I definitely recommend.
Best park in Brussels.. Very Big.. one can really have fun with group of friends.. you can also do boating (10 euro for 30 minsand kids can enjoy pony ride..
An enormous public green space in the middle of the city. Lovely forest walks, running tracks, fitness equipment and even a restaurant on an island. Fantastic place to relax.
Although this park gained popularity during corona times for all those interesting reasons, this is a nice park. It is a great place to go for a walk, run or workout. It is a green nature escape within the Brussels city. I love the landscape of this park because it has small ups and downs and beautiful lake.During the lockdown period I wouldnt really go there on the weekends. 😅😅 But it has been my favorite place to go on a walk after work.
Really nice place to go on a walk or to do a picnic with friends. It’s possible to buy something to drink (sodas, hot chocolate,…and something to eat (waffle, ice cream…).
The bois de la Cambre is a big park in the center of Brussels, well Ixelles. It has a lake with a restaurant in the middle. Its dog friendly for the pet lovers out there.
Great track, road and forest walking options surrounding a beautiful lake and island, with convenient coffee stops in several places
The largest park in Brussels, currently devoid of car traffic over most of its area. Its the perfect place for outdoor running, cycling, skating or any kind of activity.Bring a picnic, enjoy the sun, or rain, great place for people watching too! 😂
Lovely if you want to take a walk or ride a bike.Every now and then there a wafle truck or a bar when you can have something to drink. If its a sunny day like today was, I really recommend it. No cars, just a lot of nature.
This is one of the most magical places in the entire Bruxelles, it can be both peaceful and the best place to have a frisbee party.Dont miss the opportunity to stroll around here :)
Super super big park with a lot of beautiful scenery. The lake is super pretty and I believe everyone enjoys being there...
Beautiful park, great running track. Very motivational and great nature. No traffic. I would recommend, at least for a walk. Especially around the lake.
A favourite place in the city - because it provides the perfrct city escape! A nice park with roads reserved for pedestrians& bicycles, a lot of open green space to play anid hang out, nice lake. If you crave some more wildernes, the park merges with the big natural forest in wich you can spend hours walking on paths and listening to the birds.
Very nice park to see the fall colors. Surprisingly, weather can be nice in Brussels even this late in November. It was a Sunday so the park full of children and people walking their dogs
The best place if are looking for nature, lakes, forests, nice view, or peaceful area for walking, biking or jogging. Don’t miss the island in the middle of the lake, it costs €1 only, and there is a restaurant over there to enjoy the wonderful view.
This is a wonderful place to spend some leisurely hours. I had seen it on the map but never been before. I was blown away by the size of the place. There are a variety office different areas. Lake, forest, extensive lawns and traffic free roads for the little ones to skate and cycle on. I had the pleasure of listening to live music while I was there. Fabulous day.
A nice park where to spend sunny days in Brussels! Really suggested for picnics and to do some sport especially running around the lake, winter or summer this park is always beautiful
Such a lovely park! I regretted never checking it properly before and now I regret it is so far from my place (without a car)!Definitely spend a couple of hours there if you can; the autumnal colours are lovely, I guess its even nicer in summertime and just magic in snow! The atmosphere is really peaceful and the walks are enjoyable!Last but not least; its quite easy to reach and park by car!
