Place is stunning!! It is very well taken care of and has an amazing view of the river. Would definitely recommend as a quick getaway from the city!👌🏾It would be nice if they had WiFi there though. But other than that, dope spot!

Very refreshing place

Not worth the price tag which was P50/person at the time but a nice place to chill out and have a picnic. Not much of a view though but nice place to chill and relax.

So chilled and serene! A little haven in the city.It’s green, it’s shady, it’s cool, and absolutely vibey🤞🏾Affordable gate entrance and just so lovely!The road to the venue is not bad.Picturesque!I literally have no qualms about this place.You come back refreshed and ready for a new week.

Quiet. Serene. Green. Right by the Notwane River, its a wonderful place for a family picnic or day out in the sun. While amenities are a bit limited, the prices are very reasonable in return.

Looks like a good place for a picnic n braai. Pity they couldnt let us view the rest of the place.

Lovely place to go with the family, friends and a place to be alone for peace of mind... And remember to look out for the crocodiles.... 😁😁

More lights needed especially when it gets a bit darker after 6pm as we are heading into winter. The place was just dark between 6-7pm, floodlights would be much welcome

There is lots of green space, the entrance fee is manageable, there is a beautiful view of the Gaborone dam. A very nice place

The dam is currently overflowing and it really beautiful. Currently a go to spot for picnickers ! Management must be careful to control movement,noise levels and numbers and it would be truly great.

Beautiful place for picnics! I absolutely loved it.

Great place to have a bbq or picnic with family and friends. Bring camp chairs or blankets to sit on and a ball for the kids to play with. Its so peaceful and chilled.

Great atmosphere for picnics, weddings, parties launches etc.

The lawn is green and well cared for. The place is outside the noise of the city. Only problem is to have a function there at night. There are no lights.

The place is very nice. Very quiet and welcoming. I live how they have developed the place and are still developing it. Before we know it, this will be a very competitive place around.

A calm venue for whatever function you would want to have. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The fishing is also decent and quite a few can be caught.

Boetelo resort is located in Notwane along the river. It is beautiful with lush green gardens and a great view of the river. They have little wildlife which makes for good viewing. They can also host events at their resort which has a lot of space

It is INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL, even the owmer is incredibly nice and honest, wedding planners need to consider it because there is sooooo much space there is like soooo much space, beautiful gardens and forestry, there is no need for tents, you can hang out with your friends even, its just incredible, right next to the dam, you hear the waters fall, well thats if the damn is full enough, its just a peaceful area I would go there everyday with my friends if I could, I really would!!

On the banks of Notwane Dam. Bit expensive for just a day pass. Has places to set a braii to have a family picnic. Carry your oav firewood, charcoal, food and drinks.

Not really far from gaborone, really nice picnic area and yes u can fish some times of the year,
