Preserved human & animal remains are on display in a range of poses at this anatomy exhibit.
Amazing experience, great staff & very educational. Highly recommended even if youve been to another Body Worlds exhibition elsewhere.
Excellent 😊😊. Such good fun. Not too detailed, enough information about everything, but no difficult to access. Fascinating
The happiness exhibition was fascinating and beautiful. I will always find something different and unique every time I visit. Thanks xx
I liked the place. Its nice cozy museum to visit but will propose you so many thing to learn about human body - men and women. Visit all grounds. Museum is interactive, so you listen, read, test your blood pressure, test you water/musle level. You can pay with card.
Very nice experience. I recommend it. Educational and fun.
It was very interesting. The audio tour was a bit boring after a while. Maybe some more interaction would have been nice. Just very heavy on the reading. But very interesting worth visiting
Amazing experience!!! Loved the interactive approach to educating people on their body. The blood pressure and body checks are very crucial!!!
A fascinating journey into the human body. If you would like a bit more detail, I recommend taking a voice guide too, but it is not necessary to understand and enjoy.
This was a great exhibition....if you love biology this is a must!! Completely fascinating seeing all the parts of the body and how we work....glad we went to see this!!
Purchased tickets from their website, went straight through the gates once we arrived. Amazing museum, was incredibly interesting! Highly recommend Body Worlds to anyone!
Very interesting, especially when you have human physiology as one of your uni modules. If you dont, it has texts that explain everything from the basics too.
Such an educational surreal museum, with body composition scanning and blood pressure testing which is very cool and I recommend this in every city! Great for physical health promotion, Enes was very helpful in answering the questions I had, Highly recommend visiting!
We stumbled across this exhibition when visiting Amsterdam and Im so glad we did. I work as a Personal Trainer so the human body fascinates me but the approach the exhibition took with how the effects of our lifestyle choices impact our bodies internally was a fantastic touch. I really recommend visiting!
Great to see upclose, the photos dont do it justice. The presence of these pseudo humans is fascinating. Clearly focuses on cis able bodied people which is expected given its age and issues with being updated.
Fascinating experience. Worth a visit. For modern times I would maybe like to see the effects of other substances on the body eg recreational drugs especially Ketamine on the bladder
Excellent experience. Slick, informative and well-presented. Replacing the many blown lights around the place would make it even better.
Ohh I can see how people like it but it wasnt for me. The whole be happy thing was a bit to uptight for me but the real reason I hated it is because I did not realise that the bodys they show are from real dead people! I got very queasy after finding that out. There is something very disturbing to me about looking at a dismantled corpse...
Explains the proposes of human body parts in a simple and practical way. Warning: Real and graphics human bodiesOverall a Good exhibition.Hugely overpriced.
Too overpriced!! A small exhibition in a small building is more expensive than the Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh museum (€21.5)!?!? Those are 50 times bigger!! The exhibition is very interesting indeed but very quick to see. For the price, think of it just as a back up museum.
Very fascinating museum. If you have a job in a medical background like doctor of pharmacist: you are not going to learn a lot of new things. The information of the museum is very basic biology. Nevertheless: really interesting seeing REAL bodies and parts of bodies of REAL humans. Also loved that they added doing a full body scan at the end.
Amazing journey that makes me feel so lucky to be a human being!
It was an incredible experience to see all those real bodies and organs. The quotes about happiness throughout all the floors were so inspiring. An incredible and happy place. Thank you Audre for the help and experience.
Awesome show! If you are interested in anatomy, thats exactly right. There is not only to look at but also to touch and join in!
Interesting museum! No matter if you paid attention in biology or not, this is something you’ll see nowhere else. Body worlds is an amazing project and Amsterdam got the perfect location + the best staff. We were welcomed with a good joke and two happy ladies.
The exhibition itself was very interesting and well explained. At the end of the tour the visitors have an option to make body measurements. However, 2 of the 4 machines were broken, the boxes with disinfection tissues were all empty and none of the printers was functioning.
Just a realy teaching experience. We saw so many interesting details of the human body, and learned so much. I appreciate the audio device, which opens a new level of interaction.
I think this place was wonderful and fascinating. I want to go into the medical field relating to death so I think this was very intriguing. Lots of diagrams and visualizations with appropriate descriptions. Would love to come back again!
This was a really cool experience. The displays were informative and easy to see. Both English and Dutch translations. Audio narration upon request. The layout is a little confusing, exits arent clearly marked and the tickets were a bit expensive for what it is. But overall I had a good time and would recommend checking it out. 👍
Very interesting for people that really appreciate the body how is it. The information is relevant and important for understanding how we work
Was nice visiting this place. You learn quite a bit about the human body.
Really interesting place, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and walking around the building plenty to see and an awesome concept for learning as well as just being curious! Pretty cool ending too as they allow you to measure your own body composition for free and keep the sheet of info free of charge overall lovely experience.
Nice exhibition. A bit scary when you know its made up of actual people. Very educational as well
Very, very good experience. This is a wonderful exhibition of plasticized human bodies and body parts. I found it fascinating. You can look at the bodies from multiple angles. The text with each exhibit is very interesting and in both English and Dutch. The staff at the entrance were very friendly. This is well worth the money.
We had a lot of fun here and were there quite a while. People who claim its too short are rushing through the exhibit without reading anything. Really unique concept and displays but very informative in terms of the science. Entrance staff were really friendly and kind. The body scan at the end was interesting and somewhat motivating.
It was great to actually see in real life how the human body is build up this is a experince that i will never forget.
An exhibition worth visiting if youre interested in knowing more about the human body. The whole exhibition is spread across four floors so there is much to see. A nice ending with the body scan as well.
Really nice museum. It was very well organized and very interesting. Also the interactive activities (such as blood pressure measurement and body score calculationwere a nice addition to the exhibition.
Interesting if you want to know about the human body, I like the lifestyle messages for those who care to read them it could change your way of life for the better
Spent 2 and a half hours here, one of the most interesting exhibitions I have ever visited. You gain so much knowledge of the human body, the effects of what we eat and what it does to your body .
Just not worth it. If you been in biology class then you wont see anything new or worth seeing. Everything is pretty much known by almost everyone or quick google can give you even more information about those topics in museum: happiness, sadness, stress, living a long live
This was my second visit, as my daughter wanted to see it. I remember it bigger and more impressive. It was okay, some really cool plastinated bodies and parts, but it felt somehow limited and sobered, as if many of the items I had seen before were no longer there. Many good explanations, tho, in both Dutch and English. Dont pay the full price; it is not worth it. We used a discount we found online.
Enlightening trip to Body Worlds a day after Kings Day! I learned a lot from the exhibition over several floors related to the body and happiness. Did you know, for example, that over the course of a 75 year lifespan the heart pumps enough blood to fill more than three supertankers?!And I appreciated the care taken by the front of house staff like Jim, Andries (if I remember correctlyand another nice lady who helped me with directions. They all helped to make my visit a happy one. What a great time at Body Worlds and, generally, in Amsterdam!
Great place to visit, giving an interesting insight to the human body, and what really makes us human.Theres some good interactive parts of the displays too!
So interesting ! Definitely worth a visit if youre not faint stomached and interested in the human body! Felt surreal walking around and seeing all the perserved bodies but overall very educational..theres even chance to check your own blood pressure and body fat percentage at the end if you want
I was there second time. Very interesting place. I love Poker Playing Trio from "Casino Royale"
I can only recommend this museum, it was like a new world to us. A lot of Highlight, unique presentations and details. It had a good impact on us and it brings you to think about life and all the happenings around you.And I’ve to say that the body world team has been very helpful and friendly to us, so that they even revalidate our ticket, cause of our delayed train.Thank you so much again and hope to see you soon. 😘
Very interesting, impressive and educational museum about the human body. Currently (nov 21there is an exhibition about happiness. Its intense and also shows diseases and smokers lungs etc. But you can ignore those parts if its too much for you. And great if you need to stop smoking. 😅Our daughter of 5yo is very interested in the human body and loved the museum and (free!treasure hunt they had. That made our visit extra special. I highly recommend it!Staff was also very friendly.
Price (3*- a bit high. shouldnt raise anymoreExhibition (4*- Quite interesting but a bit thin in decoration and sometimes it could be a bit flat. The audio guide helps a lot but cost in addition.result: seeing it one time should be fine but the exhibition itself should be a bit more colorful, should be a good journey.
As a doctor I was really looking forward to visit this museum.. and it exceeded my expectations! 6 floors with each system of the body in each floor, i spent about 3 hours and it wasn’t enough.. i was hoping to stay more as it was a fun way to learn about the human body, its also amazing for kids to learn and enjoy at the same time.
Really enjoyed this museum. The explanations were really on point and well presented. People of all levels of knowledge can enjoy this museum as long as they are passionate about the human body. The floors are divided by subjects, so you can decide whats more interesting to you.Its a bit pricey but for me was definitely worth the visit.
