Casually minimalist space with outdoor seating, small plates, pizzas & a novice-friendly wine menu.
There wasn’t much of a wait on a Saturday night. Other places in the area were 1-2 hours or just weren’t adding anyone else to the waitlist at all. Outdoor seating was available and the table even had a little electronic device to call the waiter. The menu was shortened due to COVID. I got the Brie grilled cheese and added bacon... I think adding the bacon made it great. The bartender has been there for years, so when we ordered drinks that were no longer on the menu, they still brought them out to us.All in all, great experience. Will be back.
Such a cute place hidden away in the Paseo. Great wine selection, food, and who can beat wine Wednesday??? Half off a bottle! And if you can’t drink on a Wednesday night in the middle of a pandemic, it just isn’t fun ;).
Open seating mostly. Waitress was great considering she was the only one working on a busy night.
Always a fun, chill place to be for locals. Never know whose who you will run into, but even then they are always respected and in turn they respect you.
The drinks are great and the servers are super friendly!
Excellent staff in a hidden corner of a shopping mall. The mall itself has no soul, but this little spot is a haven for those who embrace neighborhood and community (as well as fine fare)
A bougie wine bar where you can bring a group. Good for dates or to hang with friends and chill. Great ambience. Probably the only worthwhile place in that mall.
came here 2 days in the roll for company event, its nice& cozy. bartender is friendly. descent appetizer & wine selection. sake is also served here
Very nice place. Perfect setting for a date. The bartender was nice and the happy hour was reasonably priced.
Great place for drinks, food and on some nights there is a DJ and dancing although there is no dancefloor
We have been here many times. Great wine, nice small bite selections, and a great atmosphere. Love it here!
The bartenders are great!!! Love the vibe here, this is a true hidden gem in Pasadena.
The newstaff does not pay attention, my order was taken incorrectly. When the food arrived, the pizza burnt. They are too busy socialize with each other.
Cozy little wine bar with small plates. The works needs more places like this.
I was in town visiting and I loved this place. They have good music and great wine and beer selections. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere, good food, awesome staff. Definitely a good vibe always here.
Good service, wine and atmosphere. Try to catch happy hour for some good offers.
Great wine, great food, great service, fun, relaxing atmosphere every time
Nice atmosphere; good food; attentive service.
Great place to meet people and hang out. The outdoor/indoor setting is good and comfortable. Menu has a good selection of small plate foods.
Worth it. Totally a relaxed place to hang out and have some wine
First time here for happy hour and it was pretty nice! The wine was pretty good and food was nice too. Only thing was the portions were pretty small but reasonable enough.
Very cool place with good food, good cocktails and of course WINE.
Had a birthday party here recently. They do take reservations for large groups and they set up and took good care of us. They have wine and sake cocktails, "The Dexter" was very good. The brussel sprouts were very tasty as was the bacon makes everything better flat bread.
Great happy hour. Service was efficient, parking easy, and the drinks were cheap. I only wish there was a healthy option to eat on the happy hour menu. But overall, I highly recommend.
Great bar tenders. Fantastic food. Amazing drinks
This has been the only place I LOVE going to in Pasadena for drinks for as long as i can remember. I love the DJs, the ease of parking, the fantastic goat cheese and beet salad, the cheese plate, the kindness of the doormen, the unpretentious vibe and menu as well as the dance parties. Whats even more noteworthy and brilliant are the bartenders. Travis is forever cheerful, kind, knowledgeable, charming and warm. Luke is funny, witty, silly and well informed. Cannot quite sing enough of Bodegas praises! Oh and randomly met the owner years ago....Alex was also a complete sweetheart!
Bartender Albert is super friendly and helpful. Great wines and great happy hour and specials prices.
Amazing staff and the happy hour deals are great. Food, drinks, and atmosphere... definitely worth coming for!
Quiant little bar on the second level plaza near the Anaheim convention center. Nice go to while there.
I didnt know La Bruschetta was suppose to be spicy. The potato tacos...Id rather have just the potatoes. Too spicy. The flatbread Marghuerita. It was flat. Im pretty sure my friend can make a better one with Lavash. Even my Guinness, oh how I look for this awesome beer...it was served in a non pint glass. Lol, but I ordered another one anyway. Oh well...cheers!
Been coming here for years. Great people and great food. The pizza is great and the salads are awesome.
Always a good time. Jason did a great job hiring the staff and Kat did a great job as our server.
Ive had about everything on the menu. I love it all- from the flatbreads, pizzas, yummy beet salad, caprese sliders and hummus. Service and music is usually good. Wine and beer selection is good but I still wish sometimes they had to liquor... great date night location- if its not your vibe there are so many other places around there you can venture off to.
Decided to stop in for a bite and an adult beverage. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the beer offerings. After listening to my preferences he selected a great beer that was perfect with the pizza I had. The pizza was very good. Though I did not have any wine, the selection looked good. If you are out late, they have a nice happy hour after 10pm.
Nice time and lovely food more drinking place then food place but tasty anyway
Why did I rate a 5 star? Friendly staff, good food, good price, good beer, always a place to sit (usually come Wed night), Lauren is a fantastic server, beer, wine and soju (soju is delicious), carnivore pizza is amazing but even more amazing is the grilled Brie cheese.
Walk in... Grab a spot... Enjoy the outdoor seating and mellow vibe of this place! The ambiance is nice & relaxing, allowing you to sip your wine in the wonderful So Cal weather.Friend was in a "winey mood", I wasnt, but I remembered seeing this place from others check-ins. And parking was easy to find there at the Paseo mall - only $6 with validation.Menu is somewhat limited, so dont go when hungry (borderline hangrylike I was! Mainly pizza/flatbreads & salads, but a couple other things. We kept it simple and tried those other things, cause we were moving on... Glass of white, ale, fingerling potatoes, bbq braised beef sliders. All were yummy, though nothing outstanding. Except for our waitress... OUT STAN DING... Sadly, I cant recall her name! Oh well... The cheese plate we constantly saw being delivered to all of our table neighbors looked amazing! Will have to come back when Im in a wine & cheese mood! For now, nothing to really "wine" about! :)
Good food, great atmosphere and amazing staff make this place a great go to spot.
Wednesday is Andrew Jackson Night. All bottles are $20 flat. This is the best time to go. This is the only time I go. So I cant really say more.
Great wine bar atmosphere. Had good music and affordable wine bottles on special Wednesday night. The pizzas are larger than you would expect, could easily feed 2 people each. What more could you ask for.
Cute, quaint, and out of the way. Its a good place for a glass of wine and a personal pizza.
My favorite place to have a drink period. The food is great and on the weekends they have a DJ and the place "turns up"
Great Monday all day happy hour with $22 bottles of wine, cheap flat breads and pizza, and other appetizers.
Beautiful servers and really good wine. Heat lamps for when it gets a little chilly.
Great happy hour deals on pizza and beer. A nice spot for a romantic date night without over doing it. Usually a DJ on weekend nights. Great outdoor patio space. All of the food is pretty good here.
A pinch of romance and a dash of intimacy best describes Bodega Wine Bar. I went here for Happy Hour (5pm-7pmon a Tuesday after work to relax and wait for traffic to die down on the 110 S. This place is a tiny oasis located in the bustling mall so theres plenty of parking and also other restaurants and shops to go an peruse through if you get bored. But I promise you wontYou will and have to fall in love with this place especially if your a lone pup like myself looking for some peace and quiet. I brought a book to read and the ambiance is that calming that you could come and read and relax. When I arrived it wasnt many people. Maybe about 3 other couples which was nice because I got to people watch. I sat out on the patio. It wasnt too noisy and the heat lamps kept me nice and cozy.I ordered two different wines a dessert wine and and white white from South Africa.Il conte dalba- moscato dasti which was the dessert wine was by far my favorite. I love sweet wines and this one was so flavorful and smooth that it appealed to my palate . Definitely recommend this one if your craving a sweet wine.Chenin blanc - la capra s. Africa was the second wine I tried and to be honest I got it because it had "Africa" in it and I wanted to support the motherland. But boy was this an interesting drink. Mixture of bitter but addict-ily delicious. I cant even describe it in words cause I hated and loved it at the same time. It was a total clash of taste-gasm/vomit. Needless to say I drank the whole glass both relived and saddened that it was gone. It was an odd experience cant say I recommend it but you should try it for yourself.Overall I really enjoyed my time here. Tuesday after work wasnt crowded and didnt feel like a lonely loser which was awesome. Had some tasty and inexpensive wine which was a plus.
Casual atmosphere and good drink selection. The food offerings could be more plentiful, however.
Best wine bar Ive come to enjoy since moving to Pasadena. Great ambiance and people. Good music. Packed Friday and Saturday night, as it should be. Not a club, just a good bar to hangout with friends. I love their food too.
We really enjoy this fun little place, and I like the menu layout and food and wine selections. My favorite wine is the Testarossa chardonnay paired with the bruschetta & artichoke tapenade.
