Boboli - Cafe in Brockville, Canada
The waiter was rude, and the mocha cheesecake tasted like burnt coffee~Aly
The drinks were okay. There was seating inside.
We stopped to eat enroute from Cayuga to Montreal at Boboli Cafe in Brockville Ont. We had a Chicken Curry and Hamsty and Cheese on Dark Rye with Carrot Ginger Soup. The staff were attentive, the space cozy and food fresh/tasty. We ate on the outdoor space to enjoy the rustic period piece buildings.A calm and relaxing space to dine.
I always enjoy my lunch thus the reason I go back peace and love
Amazing!!! Home cooked meals with flavour 😋
Excellent coffee, sandwiches and desserts with friendly service. Comfort food for sure
Amazing soups and love their Cheese & Pickle sandwich.
Absolutely delicious curried chicken sandwich on dark rye today paired with a curried vegetable soup. Unbelievable! And the price! Double whammy. Visit this place when youre in Brockville!
Amazing soups and sandwiches. Great low key relaxing atmosphere and the owner Kathy is so pleasant. Would recommend to anyone.
Delicious! Had a curried chicken sandwich on French bread and a super tasty bowl of tomato roasted red pepper soup. Cup of coffee and a glass of water to wash it down. Affordable. Friendly. Vintage 1965 Vespa scooter in the window. Now a downtown favorite in Brockville for me.
Great combos available, great service, great food, sandwiches are made in front of you, you must try their cookies and their tomato basil soup. We visited all the way from Niagara Falls, definitely would try again
This place is amazing! Everything here is good, their food, the staff is super friendly and their pastries are delicious (which are baked fresh every morning!I would definitely recommend this place to everyone 10/10!!
Great food and friendly service!
Highly recommend. I had the curry chicken sandwich, and it was the BEST sandwich Ive had in recent memory, just delicious. The cappuccino was great and the deep dish apple pie was fantastic! Kathy is delightful and the place is super cute and funky. Whats not to love? Hands down, the best food in Brockville. Check it out.
Very good coffee! Very good cakes. And good service
I have been coming here for years and am never disappointed. Whenever we have guests in town, we always take them here for lunch. By far, the best place to eat in Brockville.Prices are more than reasonable- soup and sandwich for less than $10! Highly recommend the chicken curry sandwich, as well as her desserts (cheesecake is my fav)I am a new mom and have known the owner for a few years now. What blows me away, is how welcome she and her staff have made me feel over the past few visits since having my child. They help hold my little girl to let me enjoy my meal, and truly embrace us both.HIGHLY recommend
Great service and delicious local bread, but entirely without vegan options.
I stopped here for lunch and I was so happy that all their foods are made in house and are homemade. I had their soup of the day, sweet potato peanut and a half roast beef sandwich. Just wow. The quality is phenomenal! People on here who are complaining about the price, listen, you get what you pay for. Higher prices equates to higher quality that you put into your gullet. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes healthy good quality foods.
Excellent food; better for eating out, limited seating.
Absolutely fantastic! We enjoyed every single bite of everything we tried! Especially the cheesecake!
Ive eaten here a few times on lunch break and the food has been consistently good. The major issue is they do not accept debit or credit and I rarely carry cash. There are other lunch places close by that dont require a trip to the ATM before hand, so I frequent them instead. I understand there are costs associated with having a terminal, but maybe that would be offset by increased patronage by people like myself.
Best carrot cake I’ve ever had! Also, very delicious soups - highly recommend.Heads up though, cash only!
I love the food and service in the cafe, and the simplicity! The atmosphere is also lovely, cozy and very stylish. The owner is great too. I love supporting this business. It’s my favourite place to eat lunch in Brockville. Try the coronation chicken sandwich, delish.
CAUTION!!! The restaurant does not accept debit or credit - no signs and they dont tell you until its time to pay. They were quite rude about sending us down the street to use a bank machine (meaning additional charges). Food was so-so.
Terrible and rude service and overpriced food. I visit Brockville often and will never eat here again.
Food is delicious , sandwiches made fresh in front of you with homemade bread.Beware though they only take cash.
Passed through last week and decided to stop in after seeing all the photos of the food on here. Was surprised how little there was to choose from when I arrived (2hrs after they opened). I was offered other pie options, after looking for something other than the one pie and cookies on display.Had a slice of cheesecake and sat and drank a drip coffee. It was very warm in there, minimal air conditioning used. Noticed a sandwich board outside offering non sweets and sandwiches... No signage in side. Would have had something else heartier first if I knew or it was mentioned.Drip coffee was not good. I noticed they sell their branded beans there too... If that was the same product I tasted I wouldnt recommend.Store only accepts cash but has no signage warning of it. Our order came to over $20 - a bit much for pocket change, more than warrants the cost of a debit terminal rental I believe.Overall okay, but it seems that (like most of the Brockville downtown we sawit is geared towards the locals, despite the fact that this town is screaming for younger visitors and that related tourism income. Did not feel particularly welcomed, even in a almost empty establishment.
My family has been coming hear for lunch for over 20 years. Sandwiches are wonderful, the desserts are to die for, and the owner (who does most of the workis one if the nicest people ice ever met.Baboli is an great setting for an intimate lunch, close to the water front of Brockville. Very convenient if you arrive by boat. Dont forget desert!
Delicious, fresh, and healthy sandwiches, at a friendly price.
Excellent food. Courteous service. We had a great lunch.
We had the best cookies and coffee here delicious.
Excellent coffee, delicious sandwiches, and the best deep dish pie Ive ever eaten!Service is great and staff is very friendly.Always a positive experience.
Love the food here... but really no debit!!!! Gimme a break this day and age.
Nice staffs, a cozy place to stay, and the soup and pies are just too delicious.
Excellent ham and cheese sandwich, and latte!
Today was sweet potato and peanut soup....delicious as always
Great Currie Chicken Sandwich & Soup Delicious..
The best soup, sandwiches and baked goods around town. Highly recommend!
I cant recall when Ive had a better lunch. The sandwiches are artisan and FRESH. The soup was made that morning and you can taste the freshness of the vegetables. Everything is made in-house and by hand. The cappuccino was perfect and the cookies were so good we had to have another as we left. The atmosphere was quaint, eclectic and comfortable with table service. The owner was onsite and staff was very charming and friendly.Im now finding reasons to visit Brockville again just to be able to go back to Boboli.
Unreasonably expensive. Frigid service unless youre considered worthy. Never going back.
Soups and sandwiches are amazing. The bread is so fresh and the soup is always made that day and full of flavour.
Best espresso coffee in town and...the best chocolate chip peanut butter cookies!!!!! and delicious dark rye sandwiches
We keep coming back for soup sandwich and pies, just like Moms with a modern twist.
The food was terrific and should not be missed if you are in the area. It was delicious and the restaurant was very friendly to me and my son.
Good food, questionable hygienic practice. Handle money then my food without hand washing in between.
Best cafe in town... always a pleasure to behold.
The most amazing soup in town. Sandwiches on fresh local homemade bread and desserts to die for! Highly recommend!
Excellent homemade soups and sandwiches - pleasant service with great Americanos and relaxed atmosphere. Popular with locals. Only drawback is they only take cash - no debit or credit cards so be forewarned.
The food is really good. and the service from the young server was great, but the older lady was less than welcoming
Fantastic soups and sandwiches. Up there with anything in Toronto or New York. Its that good. A gem in Brockville.
