We’ve heard good things about the food so we drove by today at 12:15. We couldn’t tell if it was open, or where the door is. Some big box trucks and one car were parked in front.

I Been supporting this place since I moved here in 2019 and I can honestly say its being superb but either they are under new management because the pinto beans is out of a can now and the chicken has no seasoning and lets be honest the pandemic is over why are we still ordering our food through the window I honestly love this place but come on.

bobby bs is a great spot to eat if your looking for home made soul food this is a great spot i love it !! his kool aid on point get down there now !!!

This has to be the worst place even they cancel your order when you use Uber eats you can never get anyone on the phone at this point the only way you can communicate is to drive up there. Only business in Killeen where you can never get anyone on the phone

Me and my girlfriend decided to try something different. I truly dont know how to describe what were eating. Delicious doesnt begin to express the level of flavor this food has. I wish I could give it 10 stars and that still doesnt quantify. We have a new favorite restaurant, its as simple as that. Everyone needs to eat here.

New to the area we normally eat at Petty’s on Saturdays but they sold out of ribs &chicken so we decided try Bobby’s and I am disappointed- My daughter had brisket, rice and Macchz the brisket was good rice and Mac not good at all I had the catfish it was good but not fresh, greens were good, my husband had ribs and they were tough no flavor and they forgot his cornbread. I will say we called in the order and it was ready when we got there and good customer service. But we will not be going back.

Not that long of a wait. They gave good portions of food. We ordered the fish and shrimp. The potatoe salad was homemade. It was all good.

The hostess that took my order was definitely nice and professional, but my ribs definitely tasted old like reheated. Most of it was hard and tasted like lighter fluid. It was pretty busy so I guess the food is very local and good to them but terrible to me. I only tried the ribs tho

Very slow order was already placed and ready for pick up the gentleman at the front took the name and then pulled four peoples orders in front of me then said oh Im sorry gave me my order then said oh Im forgetting to give you your drinks then said again Im forgetting to give you your dessert like can you have it all together

Its a popular spot for the area. Were just passing through. Its not seasoned well. My sister found a price tag in her collard greens. I was missing an additional side.

I really enjoy the catfish! Its the item I order the most. The Mac & Cheese is almost never good (which is a real shame), but I enjoy the other sides. They can definitely improve on the pick up/ordering process. The lines are always long & parking is nearly non-existent. You can be standing in line for several minutes to order, and again to pick up food which is not good in this Texas heat. I do enjoy the food once I get it.

Amazing experience and great food! Loved the catfish. Very flavorful, breaded well and nice size pieces. Got their peach cobbler and yum! Do recommend this place to others!

As a cook. The catfish was better than most places, even high end places. Everything was good. Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes.Thank you guys for what you do.

Everything was delicious. I got the 4 whole chicken wings plate with okra and Mac and cheese. Everything was tasty and good.

I order my order through UberEats for Pickup and was quoted a 20-30 minute wait. I get to the business once it said it was ready in the app and they stated the order is not ready and it will be additional 10 minutes. I just ending up canceling my order because I was outside in the Texas heat for more time than I was quoted. The pick up process is horrible and the business doesn’t seem like they fulfill orders on time. I strongly advise not going to this establishment when your on time constraints and if you go expect to wait 45min to an hour for your food to be ready.

They are super slow…. The food is nasty! And I do mean SUPER SLOW!!! I called in a a order for FAVOR for chicken wings and the lady say 20 mins… I go 30 mins later and still not ready… I stand out side for 15 more mins and still NOT READY! So by now it’s an hour and she’s going to say… “oh I’m not the cook Ms Favor!” Well maybe she need to be…. I will never pick up another order from them EVER no matter what the app pays

Been here a few times as a driver, not sure how many people work in there but the place always has a line...outside in Texas it is too dang hot to wait outside.I do believe I may be trying out some of their dinners.The food smells delicious.

I go to Copperas Cove location,I love the corn bread, banana pudding is freshly made. The food it self is awesome. We meet every Tuesday for fellowship and most of all the food. Lol I forget to take pick of the food. I am hungry and want to eat! Lol

The best soul food restaurant! We got the brisket plate with greens and potato salad. Took a nice nap afterwards. You get your moneys worth and the presentation is awesome. The food is not mixed together and it was just the right amount of sauce on the meat!

So much potential but its just ok....ribs were overcooked, the collard greens were great, mac and cheese meh, and the banana pudding missed for me. If this food was presented to me I wouldnt turn it down but im also not going out of my way to get it

My Uber driver suggested this spot for good soul food and they did not disappoint. The chopped beef collard greens and whole wings were tasty and delicious. And the staff was nice and friendly

I LOVE the food i have ordered from here! My favorites are the Catfish with mac& cheese and okra, BBQ ribs with mac& cheese and baked beans, smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes, and greens. I wish the canned sodas were cold. I tell everyone i meet to order from here!

Best soul food EVER. Smothered neck bones are my absolute fave. All menu items (food and dessertexcel. 👌

I gave it a 4. They had a Friday special $14 for catfish, 2 sides, dessert & drink. I got the catfish 2 sides of greens, coke zero and some chocolate cake which on most Fridays they have this special. I asked for corned bread....didnt get it.. the greens most of the time are decent but today they were gritty. They taste like I was biting down on little pebbles. So in the trash they went. They put a lot of red pepper flakes in their greens but that wasnt the grit. The catfish was delicious. With that being said I will be back to this restaurant. The prices for a meal in my opinion are better than a sit down restaurant. I would suggest that you put an awning up for people who are standing sweating in the HOT TX sun waiting to place their order and to pick it up.

Hey hey hey !!! This place here is AMAZING SOUL FOOD. I can’t even explain how good the food is! I had the smootherdChicken with Mac and cheese and baked beans. YUMMMMM! My husband had the pork chops with greens and sweet potatoes. And let’s get to this Peach cobbler Lawrdddd, you will want to eat the whole pan. Fresh to order and the amount of food you get for the price is outstanding!! I only wish the lady taking the order at the window had better customer service. Seem like she was tired or something but it didn’t feel like she was too nice. But that definitely won’t keep me fromOrdering here again ! Great place to eat some good soul FOOD !

I’ve been here quite a few times and I’m never ever disappointed. The service is great and the food is even better. For a southern comfort meal you have to try it. I promise you’re only regret will be not to. 🥰🤎🥰🤎

if you go here, expect it to be your new favorite. you WILL have to go back for more. customer service is A1 and the food is even better. definitely a new favorite of my husband and i!!

Fast service with great food guaranteed!Every time I come back here I always get the ribs, its so tender it falls off the bone, there is actual flavor on the ribs not just the barbecue sauce which is what youd typically get from the usual local restaurants. I always get a good experience eating here, HIGLY RECOMMENDED.

Excellent soul food with (hallelujaha different menu variety. Nicely seasoned and fresh. Large portions. The price point is excellent and even though there was a line the service was fast.

I have always loved the food at Bobby Bs especially the barbecue ribs. Recently I ordered ribs and to my surprise they were horrible. Some parts of the ribs I could not bite in to. I love supporting good businesses. That one mess up left a bad taste in my mouth. A restaurant shouldnt have a bad day. I spend my money I expect the food to "always" be good and cooked throughly. I was hugely upset biting into the ribs and then realizing the ribs were not cooked. I will definitely spend my money elsewhere!!! Prices changed long wait lines in the hot sun. If someone finds a place that is better please let me know.

If youre able to order ahead I would recommend doing so. Otherwise, youll have to wait for a little while to order and then to receive your items but its definitely worth the wait! Everything was good but the Macaroni and Cheese and Pulled Pork were sooo delicious!

Food was great; however, I gave 3 stars for shady business tactics. Sent my son in to order/pay with my debit card. Later, I look online at my electronic receipt (meal was $78.97and the store added on ($19.74 as a tipMy son assured me he put dollar bills in the tip jar and just signed on the receipt they handed him after they ran my card on their iPhone Square reader. Not cool Bobby B’s, not cool!

Food so good!!! They never disappoint and you get a good serving size for the price. Workers are nice and sweet. Just love this place 💕

I really didn’t like this place. Horrible wait times. Then the food wasn’t even all that. I honestly had higher expectations; if you want some darn good soul food go to Jolly’s! The okra was good though.

I was disappointed that the food wasnt prepared like I expected, the Mac and cheese was not to par. Nor was the brisket, I usually get slices of brisket at other places. Instead I got chopped up pieces of brisket in BBQ sauce. I dont expect that I will be returning to this establishment..

I dont usually review. Im new to the area. Food in Killeen has left alot to be desired. So I have turned to the mom and pops places. This food was good. Greens were seasoned and spicy with the smoked turkey!!! OK!!! Catfish was seasoned well. Tell them to fry it hard if you door dash. So it will still have the crunch... I will be back! O yeah... ORDER THE KOOL-AID

I haven’t eaten here in a min. I use to live going to Butlers and today I had a craving for some pork chops and cabbage but greens will do and Mac and cheese. OMG the food is delicious. I will definitely be ordering again. ASAP

I went to Bobby Bs in hope of getting a good n tasty meal. Well to my disappointment I didnt get what I went there for. I ordered a smothered pork chop and a regular fried pork chop, mashed potatoes and collard greens...the"smothered" chop had some dark brown gravy plopped on top of it and the regular fried was so hard, the mashed potatoes were instant potatoes and cold, the greens were so spicy I couldnt enjoy them. This place has gone WAY down. Needless to say I wont be going back

The food is terrible quality. Don’t go you will regret it.ordered the brisket combo and the cat fish combo. The only item that was decent was the catfish. The brisket was gross literally the worst I’ve had in Texas. I was missing my order of fries. Also the restaurants listed number does not work. The mash potatoes I would compare to what you get in middle/high school absolutely no flavor. The bake beans are definitely original flavor cans that they didn’t add anything to. The Mac n cheese is super basic just noodles with some cheddar cheese no extra flavor. It was absolutely not worth the wait or price. It was roughly like $20 but definitely wasn’t worth it I wish I had thrown my money away at a McDonald’s or something else low quality. The customer service also is bad, they didn’t ask what flavor drinks I wanted just gave me sprite luckily I like sprite. Multiple customers just standing around wondering when someone was going to come to the window to assist them before being helped. I definitely wouldn’t go again.

So far everything smells delicious, haven’t ate here quite yet but plan to soon. Figured I add an update menu or so I hope as the menu on the website is a bit different than this one posted on the window.

I wasn’t impressed at all I got the smothered pork chops which were fried with gravy on top the hunk of cornbread was cold and sweet 🤮 I’m from Bama and this was 1 of the worst meals I’ve had since I’ve been here

I had the sausage plate with greens and mac and cheese - everything tasted great and was served nice and hot. It was my first time trying this place - Id go back.

Catfish was outstanding! Beans and Greens were really good too. The only complaint is that I cant give it more stars.

Every time I drove by this place there was always a line of people waiting for food so I just had to check it out. Everything I have had here has been excellent. There are some tables off to the side you can eat at but almost everyone picks up food to go. They do daily specials and their BBQ is fantastic and everything is at a very reasonable price point. They prepared the food quickly and I have yet to have any error in what I ordered.

Got the BBQ rib plate. Look man you know when people say,"fall off the bone"... well people this is the real thing. You need a fork for the ribs honestly. The effin mac and cheese was great! Also got the red beans/n rice and the potato salad. Hands down the best red beans/n rice for miles and miles around. Potato salad was on point also, but to be honest I ordered so much I ate less of it than the other sides. Finished with banana pudding and the wife had a pecan pie. Let me tell you something, Ill damn near fight anyone for a free banana pudding. These guys have been as round for a few years, please support.

Im from Florida so my family and I had a taste for some southern soul food. I got the fried ribs they were fried to hard the macaroni and cheese was dry but the cashier replaced them the collard greens were pretty good the banana pudding was good as well customer service was good also alot of other menu items to choose from and the food is cooked when you order it so there is a bit of a wait.

Food: The food is pretty good , it was a decent portion and very flavorful. The brisket was fire, along with my two sides , collard greens and yams. I have to try other meals to make an accurate judgement overall. ✨Customer Service: The workers kinda seemed like they didn’t want to be there , wasn’t welcoming at all. Maybe they were having a bad day I guess. 🥴Location: Not the best location, but not the worst. I would tote the 30 ROUND 🔫 just in case. Inside the restaurant is tight and congested. I wouldn’t eat inside.Summary: Great place to go get takeout when you are craving some soul food, just don’t have the highest expectations. Also, they need to have a working phone so that takeout orders can be made. This was kinda annoying that I couldn’t place an order over the phone, because I damn sure didn’t feel like waiting inside.Thanks for reading !

This place was recommended by the staff at our hotel. So glad we visited!! Their greens were fantastic! I loved that they were made with turkey rather than pork. Theu had some of the best mac and cheese ive had from a restaurant in a long time. Their brisket was delicious with lots of lean meat. I just wished i had more bbq sauce. Pound cake was delicious with some ice cream.

The food was good. Looked at some of the reviews and decided to stop by. I was not expecting to get that much food...was really pleased.

Love us some Bobby Bs! This is a diamond in the rough for sure. The owner Bobby is very welcoming and takes the time to know his customers. The food here never disappoints. We have tried just about everything he has to offer and we have zero complaints. The best by far soul food around!
