Bob Evans in South Bend

Food ice cold and 2hour wait they had 13 people in the place and the staff were standing around food was ice cold and they were rude

The ice tea is brewed and worth going just for that one reason. Service is fast food is good.

The last three times the family has gone each visit has been worse. On this last visit which will be our last time going there, the plates were served hot and the food was cold. the coffee was served lukewarm barely.All the Bob Evens have closed down in the area.

Our server Sherry was excellent. She is very friendly and very helpful.The food was great. Love that you can order breakfast options any time.

Just what I needed to hit the spot. Great meal. And the waitress was so pleasant. Down home feel.

Absolutely horrible! Waited for 45 minutes and the food came out cold and wrong! I will never go back!

I ordered through doordash earlier today and a woman picked up, she was very rude, wouldnt give me her name, didnt know how to answer my question and just tried to get me off the phone with as little words as possible. Thankfully a manager (I think her name was cindyoverheard this and got on the phone sending me to the right place to get the correct help. I will not be ordering through doordash from there again, ridiculous!

I love Bob Evans, but theyve gotten a little deceptive on their coupons. I had taken my family to dinner the other night expecting to save $4 off my tab. Yet after I came up to settle this they tell me that I have to download an app first. Keep in mind the coupon said nothing about doing it or I would have done it. Still the meal was delish and our waitress was golden. She did a great job at taking care of our table.

It took longer than normal for the waitress to even ask of we wanted beverages. However she appeared to be very busy. Once she did come.to our table she was kind and attentive. I like the layout of this Bob Evans better than the one in Benton Harbor. And it was cleaner than the one in Benton Harbor

Love Bob Evans! Food is always good.. prices are very reasonable.. and our server was awesome!

Nice place, friendly staff. Bob Evans restaurants are generally the same from one location to the next, if you were happy with your experience at the last Bob Evans you visited, this one will meet the same mark.

Great place for breakfast service was first class got to try the biscuits and gravy really good

The place is very dirty ,my son said ,dad my hands stick to the table and ,look at the floor so dirty,...bathroom is disgusting ,pee everywhere. We didnt even sit there and eat ,just run away

Welp this definitely wasnt the Bob Evans that I remembered from past visits....food wise...but hey the servers were on point !!

Good food but the restaurant is wore down and had a musty, dirty odor.

Had breakfast late in the day.... So nice! Our sausage was overdone, otherwise it would have been a 5.We left full and happy with leftovers for breakfast tomorrow!Update.... Went on a Sunday with a huge group of famy for brunch.Great food...great waitress.... Fun time!

Worst bob evans experience, the waitress only came to our table once, somebody else gave us our food. The waitresses were fighting and arguing with one another, although they tried to hide it, it was obvious. Do not recommend this location.

Waited 10 minutes to be seated and it wasnt crowded. Waited for a waitress 15 minutes. Took 30 minutes to recieve our order. Hashbrowns were cold and greasy. Eggs were not over easy and lukewarm. Toast was old and cold. It used to be my favorite Bob Evans. Now I wont return

My son& i ordered eggs,sausage,toast& hash browns..wasntsatisfying, toast had hardly any butter.. cold eggs over medium waste of 25$ tip. This place used to be good?!

First off, the air conditioning is really good. Second: Dominique meets me immediately with a smiling, welcoming face. She seats me and Gabbie is there also jst as fast. Her smile at-the-ready as well.I asked her to surprise me between the Everything Breakfast Bowl and the Double Meat Bowl.She brought the Double Meat, with my eggs medium just as requested, along with warmed Banana Bread. So very filling.Everyone I spoke with here, four employees, were all upbeat and friendly.Coffee was always filled, and my belly left the same way.Nice Stop!Thank you Gabryella and team!

The service was mediocre at best. A friend and I both ordered the same meal for lunch soup and a salad, we waited almost 30 minutes for them to finish growing the lettuce for our salads, that they topped with stale croutons. The hostess was very rude and unpleasant as she sat us and our server forgot that she was on shift.

The hostess was very rude. When people have a bad day, it reflects their work. We were seated and she never told our new waitress who just started to bring my sons booster seat. The pancakes were poorly made. You could tell that the regular cook had the day off. I had to send my food back! What made the experience worse was when the waitress took my sons fruit when I wanted to take it to go. Great restaurant just not a good day for breakfast.

Sadly the take out order was ready 15min after the stated time, fries ice cold....Bob should be better than that. Service was way below par also....too bad

We usually have a good time here, but we waited for almost an hour to get our food and we saw tables of 2 just like us come in and leave, 3 tables before us!

Great server in Chrissy. Food was hot and everything was good.

Changed their gravy for the biscuits and gravy. No longer white gravy and tasted nasty. Very disappointed.

Ordered a nice fathers day meal for the family, and had it delivered. Pulled 2 hairs out of my mouth that were in my blt. Entire $80 order went in trash. Disgusting DO NOT EAT HERE.

Service is sooooooo slow....🐌. Took our name at the host desk and host said 10 minute wait. We left the restaurant after a 30+ minute wait for our seat.

Wow. Bad. At first entering we were told by a man it would be a 5-10 minute wait, seats open everywhere. Seated, no hello or pleasantries. Waitress was the same. Just a blank stare. No pleasantries at all. Food barely warm . 2 hairs in my food. Husbands burger was a grease bomb.

The parking lot wasnt even full. The dining room was half full. There were no bussers. And they told us it was going to be 15 to 25 minutes before we could be seated. We left and will never go back.

Four stars because the food I picked up and brought to my mom in the hospital she liked. I ordered online and came in to pick my food up at 5:50pm on a Tuesday and the place was clearly understaffed. I only saw two waitresses who spent most of the time waiting at the window for their food to be ready and one young black woman answering phones, doing register and doing carry out orders, luckily I was able to grab her attention and she helped me a lot and kept me up to date while I was waiting for my order while she was clearly overwhelmed with everything. That young woman deserves a raise.However, they seemed to have no hostess. I waited in the lobby for about 15 mins and I didnt see a single one of the groups that were there before I was get seated. The one young woman doing the register and carry out orders was doing her best, but it didnt seem like she had any support from anyone else.

Had been waiting 15 minutes to be seated. We were behind 2 other couples, not sure how long they were waiting.I heard one waiter ask if he should start seating people and the rest of the staff said no. At that point everyone waiting left.There were 3 severs and at at least 3 cooks.

The food is always amazing, our server was very forgetful and i didnt get refills this last time there but she had a great personality.. i love the atmosphere as well very family oriented..

Well I ordered the steak and eggs. Everything was cooked correct except for my steak. It was over done. The only reason I gave them a five star, was because when I said something my waitress went right to the kitchen and told the cook. I was expecting to be done with the rest of my meal before I received my steak. I wasnt even half way through when my steak arrived. It was to perfection this time. Customer service was awesome. Definitely recommend this place.

Not a bad restaurant....Bob Evans has been around for a while now, gone through the ups and downs of the economy and never seemed to close or slow down business very much.... most of the Bob Evans restaurants Ive been to around the midwest, seem to be a well oiled machine...my only beef would be the amount of time you must wait to get a table @ certain times in the morning and later in the day.........

This is my partners favorite restaurant. Her favorite thing to order is the banana bread. I think our only down fall of giving all 5 stars is one of the employees. She has brought us wrong food, drinks and some times rude then has even served us after other people that arrived after us. Over all shes not a good server but the place we love and continue to go back.

Went here for breakfast on Wednesday( around 9amand had to wait 20 minutes just to get coffee. There was only one server trying to wait on 6 tables and make stuff behind the counter. Food was good however one of the 4 meals we ordered was cold when it was served to us. I love this restaurant in general but think this one is a bit short staffed. Would recommend the cinnamon bites they are amazing and are good hot or cold.

Delicious home cooked style meals. My go to dish is the pot roast with carrots, mashed potatoes and caramelized onions. My husband prefers their breakfast at any time of the day! Always have great servers with fast and friendly service.

Worst breakfast I have ever had at Bobs. The new company is not helping them. Over medium eggs were brown and crisp outside, raw inside. Potatoes were over cooked and cold. Asked for extra extra crisp bacon, it was not even one crisp. Toast was not toasted, and I like mine light!Too much butter but all in middle of bread.When we arrived we were told a 10 min wait, there were probably 6 tables total. I figured short staffed so no problem. No, people wandering around, one server rearranging shelves, standing behind counter just talking. Very sad!

We went here today and the food was great. They are short staffed so the wait was a little while but it was not long. Our waitress Allison did an amazing job. She was the only waitress for the whole restaurant. She also bussed the tables. She checked on us and served everything with a smile. I highly recommend this place.

First time at a Bob Evans. Disappointing - first omelet wasnt made right and had hair in it. Food wasnt very hot either. Was remade correctly and hot but had lots of fat ends in it. Staff didnt seem to concerned about first attempt or quality of food. Might try again but not at this location.

We didnt even get served!!! Another group that came in before us got their drinks and apps before us. We waited 45 mins for someone to come and no one came. Me and my family will not be coming to this location EVER again 😠 I also watched where the servers were going and they were only going to be people that not colored so yeah called that one when we were sat in the corner and no one acknowledge us when my boyfriends dad tried to get someones attention 🙄 We walked out of there really upset and ignored. I hope this review teaches you a lesson 💁🏾‍♀️

I order delivery from here via grubhub, and the food I get is always amazing! Its so good that It surprises me everytime lol. Im sitting here eating it and i found it so delicious that im writing this review! Its always been good, but the past several times iv ordered breakfast the food has been even better! I orderd French toast this time and Im kind of sad because I know I couldnt make it nearly this well!

The food was delicious! The waitress was very friendly. Only downfall was a mess up with the food. Besides that it was great! They also offer a military discount which I believe is awesome.
