Boambee Headland Lookout in Kempsey

This was a beautiful lookout.

Stunning views over the creek and bays either side. The creek looked lovely for family swimming.

Nice view both north and south, a few picnic tables but no rubbish bins. So has a little rubbish around.

Nice view of the ocean at top of lookout. Couple of popular picnic benches. Busy at lunch time on a sunny day. People also go walking on the headland. Only downside is when big vehicles block your views depending where youre parked and skinny driveway going up and down; must be careful when driving up & back down.

Great place to go for a swim in the creek or watch the ocean from the headland.

Nice spot, beautiful vista,you can go for a bit of a walk also,there is a little entrance to Boambee creek where you can have a fish if you desire,lot of fresh water when I was there but looks real fishy,the headland rocks look especially good for a throw

Great views of the surrounding beaches. A few walks/tracks nearby. Only the "ugly" water towers detract from the atmosphere.

The walk is very beautiful,paved all the way does have some steep bits. But for the most part a very gentle easy walk from the bottom car park and back.

Nice walk, great views. Dont go up hill when you get to near the end as it takes you to the top car park. Turn back on yourself and enjoy the views you just saw from a different perspective.

Beautiful view. Little bit hard on old knees in parts yet worth the effort. Dont bother going up to the top as the brush blocks the view and very steep.

Neat little walkabout to visit if you are in Sawtell, not worthwhile unless you were already in town.

Great 20minute loop to walk around, quite holly so perhaps leave baby strollers at home unless you have an off-road model. Can shortcut down to the beach and do a much longer loop.

Nice sight and awesome walkway for great exercise.

A wonderful spot to go swimming with your dogs. Once you park you wonder down the hill and across a bridge and end up at the beach. Parts with shade and Both shallow and deep water. Definitely worth stopping here. Way better than any beaches in Coffs Harbour.

Only a short walk or drive, and its well worth the visit. Can see wonderful long sandy beaches and great coastline in the distance. Do yourself a favor and visit.

Love this place, its my morning meditation location. Great to just sit in the car and watch the waves crashing along boambee beach, get out and read at a table or walk down the path to the ocean walking path and sit, taking in the awsome views.Its a true place of tranquility...

Great views of the coast going north and south, also a place to spot iguanas and for those with a sharp eye, whales too.

Epic slice of coastline with the best off leash dog area in the world.

One of the best walk we had in Coffs harbour which eventually took us to this lookout. Balmy breeze, chirping birds, mesmerizing ocean views all really touched my soul. There was sitting arrangements at places in case you want quick rest during the walk. If you are up for a swim, the lookout has steps that takes you to the beach. Plus point, beach was not crowded at all, so you get your privacy.

Pretty nice place for viewing scenery. You can also see the scenery downstream of the river.

This is my other most favourite place to sit and watch the waves. Beautiful anytime from dawn til dusk!

Great way to see the Coffs Coast from Sawtell to Coffs Harbour. Lots of car spaces.

Good lookout and is easy too get too, plenty of parking and can get to the beach from there, and theres tracks to get to other spots on the look out.Good spot to get photos of your car for sunrise and sun sets

This place is maximum view for minimum effort. There are views from both sides of the lookout, that you literally get out your car, and walk 5 steps to see. You get a great view over Coffs Harbour from one side, and Sawtell from the other side. On a clear day, its absolutely stunning. Take a walk around the point for even more wonderful views. A great view of sawtell beach and mountains nearby. It is just 15min drive from coffs harbour.

You can look out rhe beautiful ciry of coffs jarbour and Grafton and a beach on one sode and you can see othwr beach with a soith side of coffs harbour. Really an fun lave to be
