Bluepost Restaurant & Pub, Thika Kenya - Restaurant in Thika, Kenya
I have been to this place a couple of times now. A great pub to sit down and chat with friends!
Fantasric place, always was but now with BarMan&DJ Adam it sounds well!
Good old London bar. Enjoyed the Dennis Hopper IPA, wish I chosen the London Black though.Had a giant lamb sausage roll which was delicious. The staff very friendly.Good atmosphere and ideal to pop in before hitting the theatre.
Great location and top staff.
I had Bloody Mary and Espresso Martini without too much expectation and they turned out to be exquisite, a pleasant surprise! 🥰
Great little pub friendly staff.
£14 for two 25ml shots of gin and tonics but you don’t keep the bottle of tonic.. we won’t be staying for another drink. Big glasses with lots of ice definitely needed
I am puzzled by the person here who says that women should avoid this pub, she says that she was refused a drink. Myself and my husband used the bar before we went to see the fantastic Jerusalem at the nearby Apollo Theatre, the bar staff were polite and efficient, the wine I had was really great, superb wine, very cold, and in a spotless wine glass, so rare these days when its all dishwasher fluid stains and lipstick or chipped etc. My husband loved his Dennis Hopper beer, we would love to return to this small bar we loved its vibe and loved our drinks, so I can only say if the person who is negatively reviewing the pub was intoxicated, the bar staff were very correct in their not to serve a person who was inebriated. Thanks to the staff on the day (yesterday, Saturdayx
Great off the beaten track place in the hear of Central. Staff really great and such a cool place. Almost tempted to not review as dont want everyone to know about it. But that wouldnt be fair. Ill be back! 👍🏻
Grd floor quick service got a table on a busy Saturday afternoon nice wine ayes nice bit of reggae in there
Cracking little spot for a few drinks. Popped in after a matinee show at the theatre. Great selection of beers on tap. Excellent Margarita. Try the spicy mixed nuts! Will definitely be back.
Nothing special, no theme or anything but a nice vibe. Cool side dish
Good beers and lovely service.
Small pub in a good location. Nice selection of beers. Tables on pavement outside.
Lovely staff, very helpful and scrumptious food 👍
Upstairs was a nice experience, waitress was very attentive and knew her stuff. Shame about the sewage smell.
Good selection of beers and lovely cocktails. Nice small space for a quiet drink.
Especially women should avoid this place at all costs! Ive never felt more humiliated in my life before. The manager/bartender refused to serve me drinks which is quite understandable as they are legally allowed to do so. But I wasnt even tipsy so I asked him what made him think that I was drunk. He didnt give me an answer but he told my male friend who was tipsy at the moment that he had been doing his job long enough to understand if someone is drunk. Apparently not. I went up to the securities just to explain myself and ask whether they think I was drunk or not. They ended up apologising on the behalf of their manager. I completely understand that it is his duty to refuse to serve drinks sometimes. But there was no single person except the extremely rude manager who thought I ‘had enough to drink’. He didnt even let me speak while he was the one making the accusations. This is unjustifiable behaviour from a manager in hospitality, especially considering I was not creating any problem.
Great pub in touristy area. Very much recommend the sausage roles, and hope to check out the downstairs restaurant soon!
Really like this place - good atmosphere, good crowd, good beers. Theres a wine bar upstairs that has a great menu and really nice staff that will help you out if you need it, but you will probably need to book.Theres also a Michelin-starred restaurant downstairs, so the bar snacks, whilst being pricey, are absolutely delicious!
Great selection of drink, brilliant service too.
This pub is always a go to of mine when around the China town area of Soho. Open later than most, really nice pub, chilled vibe, good beers and cocktails. Great spot.
Nice staff, good pints and great music, typical price for the area
The Blue Posts is a real hidden gem, on a quiet cross street, just a block away from Piccadilly Circus. Downstairs, youll find a cosy pub that (whilst not a craft beer barboasts better than the usual draft offerings youll find all over London. The decor and mood shift as you head upstairs, where youll find a light a bright lounge that focuses on wine and craft cocktails.I highly recommend this delightful find.I hope readers will find my review helpful. Great pub to watch the world pass by, if you like good independent beers some excellent choices. Keen staff, but much like the rest of London, dont expect masks. The security man from Lebanon was very pleasant, and good.
They have a new venison sausage roll that is just about perfect, good draft list and a really quick and friendly staff 10/10
I havent been here for almost a year and Simon remembered what my favourite beer was.How impressive! On top of that they are brilliant, kind and have a great range of beers. Is definitely a place you want to be visiting
Worked at this place in 1985.Great location and we used to serve awsome Irish Coffee..Tom and Kathy were owners..
Havent been here since it changed owners. A really nice refurb, and the drinks and food menu are good. Hidden away from most of the craziness of Leicester Square and China Town. Well worth a visit.
We found this little bar and loved it. The staff were incredible so friend welcoming. Thank you 😊
Lovely little pub. Friendly staff who saved us looking for somewhere to accommodate us giving our birthday cake to a family member
Very nice bar, prefect for 1st date, friendly staff, good selection of drinks, prefect place to enjoy a quick drink before the theatre. I recommend to be seated on the 1st floor if possible (comfortable seatings + plugs to charge your phone)
Tiny & cramped but feels like its part of its charm. Good selection of beers, not sure I could stay for more than a couple of drinks though due to how crowded it gets
Really nice pub, with a cocktail bar upstairs (didnt manage to get into the cocktail bar because it was full). Staff were friendly and it wasnt particularly rowdy which was good
Great evening with two of my friends.. Great bar staff ladys very nice to talk to. Service and beers and shots ciders all very tasty.
Lovely choice of non typical lagers beers and for me a delicious cider. Staff incredibly knowledgeable about their products, helpful and friendly. Good music and a welcome respite from traipsing around London 😊
A lovely quaint Soho pub with great staff and a riot of customers, intended in the best possible way. i.e. all sorts of wonderful people. Good beer and plenty of alternatives to choose from. A very streamlined bar restaurant downstairs, an oyster bar maybe. Also, something upstairs but not visited on this occasion. A tardis of a pub. Do pay a visit.
I visited the pub for the first time in over 30 years at the weekend. I actually worked in the bar during my college years , and it feels as inviting and fun now as it was then. Great to see it remains constant. Great bar staff..
Great place to have nice drinks/cocktails. The DJ is amazing with the music. The best hits played during the night. We had a spicy Bourbon cocktail and a pineapple rum cocktail. A must visit bar for a night out. The prices are acceptable, with an average of 12£ per cocktail.
We stumbled upon looking for somewhere to get out of the crowds of Chinatown. Although central it was packed and there were seats available. They have a good selection on tap and the staff are friendly. Give the hazy daze session ipa a try if youre in the neighbourhood!
Nice pub near Carnaby Street. We went there on a Saturday and couldnt find any seat (I think it is quite normal), the pub was super busy but the service was really fast and kind anyway. We drank a really good cider while our friends drunk two different beers, they told us they were good. Its a busy place with a lot of people coming in and out, great place if you wanna know new people and have a chat with someone, enjoying this first spring days (as you can stay outside the pub too, but not outside seats)
Laid back bar with a larger main area on the ground floor and a cocktail bar upstairs. I ordered a caipirinha off-menu and was very impressed; bitter, strong and delicious with a citrus-y tang. My friend ordered a gin & tonic which was good but nothing spectacular. I would say its worth a visit for a single drink or a special occasion, otherwise its rather expensive.
great beer selection, great cocktails, great vibe... live music and dis at times but always good playlists. I also use the Blue Post for biz meetings as cocktail bar upstairs and dining downstairs makes it the perfect one stop entertaining location
A superb central free house pub. Great selection of craft beers, lovely decor, helpful staff. Not enough pubs like this in Soho!
Newly renovated with great decor. They have a decent range of pints on tap. Could do with a few more British as well as European varieties but maybe they rotate them. Not cheap though at £14.75 for a pint and gin and tonic. Bartenders were attentive and quick serving.
Great pub with a nice atmosphere on the ground floor, besides it, a very fancy and good cocktails place on the first floor which is mostly crowded on Wednesday and Thursday, but they started to be opened on Tuesday from last week, it seems. Great place to hang out after a play in Piccadilly.
We stumbled across this little hidden gem today and thought, lets nip in for a drink three hours later still here, so friendly customers and bar staff and Phil are excellent! The live band were superb, Thank you for a great night
The new Blue Posts is starting to gain some character. Good selection of craft beers, and a nice seating area upstairs. The live band on Sunday creates a damn good atmosphere for some Sunday daytime drinking.
Great little place cosy atmosphere and live music (was on a Sunday)
Very slick new pub in Chinatown. Lots of beer variety and craft ales. New restaurant downstairs and a smart cocktail bar upstairs. Great place for dates.
