European food and cocktails in smart spot with monochrome floor tiles, feature lighting and terrace.
Cocktails were very creative. Chilled and private surroundings with clever decor and the right measure of people activity! A perfect haven.
The entrance and scene is very ornate. Its a fun place to see and visit. The food was absolutely delicious! We ate solely vegetarian, and there were lots of options, and the ones we had were very tasty. The portion size was perfect and it was a well rounded meal. The service was quite slow, but our waiter was friendly and bubbly.
Really loved the atmosphere and the deco which are fabulous, the heated cosy courtyard with garden furniture and plants is a must. Staff was friendly but waitress wasnt up to standard. Her outfit was really filthy and service was mediocre, she kept forgetting things.
I was quite te hungry at the time and I needed my computer plugged. Oddly there were not a lot of plugs.Anyway, the soup was pretty good, as well as the chicken pie.No music (2.30pmnot a lot of waiters,
VERY GOOD coffee.Nice place. Was pretty empty so cant say much about the places vibe
The food is good but disappointed on the number of finger sandwiches, they brought 4 more fingers sandwiches up when asked but these are small in comparison to other afternoon tea I have been to.Cakes & scones were very tasty.Would go back, really nice and lively place and had a good time.
Bluebird has a beautiful garden-like entrance and very unique interior! I was excited for the food after seeing the creative menu, but while everything was well seasoned and flavored, nothing was really stellar. I got the butternut squash soup and the burrata ravioli—both were just okay.
Went there early Saturday evening and they found a table for us in the cafe area.Cant fault the food or the staff. Food was wonderful and the staff friendly and professional
Good Sunday roast but small portions particularly the veggies I recieved 4 small potatoes and two carrots.
Im going to rate in two sections, 1 food 2 atmosphere:Food:Oysters were 10/10Pie was 4/10 didn’t finish itTruffle Mash 8/10Monkfish curry 8/10Creme Brule 7/10I wouldnt crave anything and actively come back for it.Atmosphere:Bar are 9/10 super fun and vibey - need more staff at the bar though.Restaurant area, we were also sat next to a group of very very drunk guys who were literally screaming. Ruined our vibe.BUT its super young, trendy, the bar is super vibey, beautiful ladies and gents.I would return for drinks @ the bar & Oysters
Ive been here twice once for brunch and another for dinner both times atmosphere and aesthetic was amazing literally no complaints the lighting, furniture and decor are perfect. The food quality was good both times I would argue that I enjoyed the brunch options more as I felt they had a wider selection, was more delicious and filling.Dinner was good quality but the menu options werent very broad.Overall a nice place with lovely atmosphere Id definitely recommend going fro brunch around midday or earlier as those food options end around 3pm I believe.
Disappointing breakfast. Bacon very salted and over done. Fired eggs hard and over cooked. Black pudding shop bought like rock and served the end peace. Very hard toast. Spicy beans not original Heinz’s breakfast beans but subjective to individual preference. Tomatoes were the only nice thing. Overall the breakfast taste like it was cooked hours ago and left under heat lamp to keep warm. Lazy cooking specially for the price. Had to ask for condiments such as sauces, salt paper butter.
Lovely Food and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will deficiency return
What a place! We came for brunch with my partner, and had the most wonderful time. The sevice was incredible! The restaurant upstairs has so much space and the decor is elegant yet fun. Would be great for a group event too.
No idea what happened todayMy wife wanted to check out this place as there seemed to be some good reputation. It turned out to be a social media spot for the photosFrom the start, the guy who showed us to the table had no friendly persona. No checking in or asking for drinks. Just here is your spot, stay hereThe breakfast took a really long time to come out. It was busy but not the level of busy restaurants in London can get to.My wife’s order turned out to be the wrong order. So it was sent back. Then it came back out and it had no poached eggs… again, sent backFor my eggs royale, the muffin part was not toasted enough. Felt right out the bag and on the plateThe toast… stale or overdone or bothThe mushrooms, avocado, eggs and beans were great. I would love to have those again.Salmon was fresh but my experience was marred by the stoggy muffinOverall not worth the hype unless you come here for the expensive drinksSorry, will not be coming back
Private dinning is good but the room and the food can be improved and not wheelchair accessible. Some of the staff are not flexible. We heard some strange banging noise from kitchen. Overall good.
Came here for breakfast, manager upon entering wasnt really welcoming. Food took forever to come. When it finally did I was given the wrong food so had to send it back as the chef made a mistake. The second time the food was still wrong (no eggsso had to send it back again. The food was honestly tasteless, I never put salt on my food when I eat out and it felt like there was absolutely no flavour. I ordered the garden breakfast and the halloumi was completely cold. The toast was SO rubbery and hard to even bite into it was bizarre. I dont really recommend coming here. Waiting staff were absolutely lovely though, working very hard and keeping the place together.
beautiful patio but unfortunately terrible service and mediocre foodUPDATE: This restaurants manager did an excellent job in following up on my experience. As a professional in operational excellence/quality, I can confidently state that this establishment takes feedback seriously. They did not ignore, minimize, or deflect responsibility for their shortcomings. It would be our honor and pleasure to dine with them again as I now suspect this experience was an outlier in their otherwise professional service.
Lovely setting, gets plenty of sun for breakfast. Food was okay, expensive for what it is. We had eggs royale and the garden breakfast. We also had iced coffee which was basically just milk. We had to ask to put more coffee in them but the waiter just brought us a mug of hot espresso. We spilled a bit of it in our glasses and asked for ice to get it cold again. It still tasted of just milk. Recommendation, dont order iced coffee or ask for it extra strong perhaps!
Amazing, the food was delicious! And their service was fast.
First time at Bluebird Chelsea. Excellent service and delicious fresh food. The environment is relaxing and fun. You can stay at the bar after dinner for some drinks and great music. Recommend! Great for date nights or any celebrations. PS: it can get really busy and this will definitely affect the service.
I came here for dinner on a Saturday evening, service was great and the interior is very nice inside. The outside area looked nice too, good place for drinks or for an occasion. Food was ok, quite a pricey menu so would have liked the mains to be slightly bigger. The trout had a couple of slices of potato for £26.50!!
Lots of outdoor space to make business calls while enjoying a gigantic vegetarian breakfast. I didnt think you could get plates that big in the posh part of town.Could do with more charging points for laptops but you cant have it all.
Far down on the kings road this now trendy spot with a large open terrace was busy and buzzing. Service was really good and attentive. Food was really good and large portions. Great spot for a lunch in the summer months and would definitely return.
I went to Bluebird Chelsea last night with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Stunning place, delicious food, but I MUST say that the best thing for me was the service. Our waiter Guidian made EVERYTHING he could to make our night special. Extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. Honestly, this restaurant is very lucky to have him working there. Guidian, with a big smile on his face at all times, made our night truly remarkable. I have frequented other restaurants in the area and my experience was not positive, but after yesterday I will definitely be going back to Bluebird many times.
Came here today to celebrate with family my Grandsons 1st Birthday, amazing staff, beautiful food.Wonderful memories made even more special by the perfect service we received .The Cromer Crab was delicious and the Truffle and Burrata ravioli to die for .Thankyou guys x
The breakfast we had in this place is just an average that you can find in any street cafe , the staff were careless , we were given a table under the sun in the heat of summer , they couldn’t even be bothered to extend the shades that were there and designed for it , we tried to change table , there were not flexible at all .Fruit was not fresh at all .I don’t recommend for breakfast at all .
Great food but super pricy. Service wasn’t great. 2 of the waitresses were lovely and the other 2 were really rude and not polite or friendly at all. Great location and beautiful outside area however expect to wait for food and drinks.
My food and drink was amazing, the staff are very polite and lovely! Only reason for the 4 stars is because person I went with got a salad and all it tasted of was vinaigrette and wasn’t very appetising.
I went to the Blue Bird today for my Birthday. It was excellent, from the moment I entered the property until I left. The service was professional, food delicious, the decor was lovely. Thank you team for this afternoon. The young lady who served us even gave me a small birthday cake.. how wonderful and thoughtful ( I hope she remembers us ☺️).
Attended a private birthday dinner here. The venue is stunning, lovely greeting from the security/door man to the ladies at the front desk. Was escorted to a table whilst we waited for the rest of our party to arrived. Will served us drinks, once everyone arrived he took us up to our private area. Some guests was running late but they accommodated us very well.We all pre-ordered our meals so the service was very smooth. Will was absolutely fantastic throughout as well as the team helping. Whenever we had empty glasses they came round to top us up, anything we asked for wasnt too much hassle. From the beginning to end they was great!Starter: Burrata Semi-dried tomato Pesto- delicious, very filling. I live cheese but it was a big portion for a starter. The pesto was 👌Main: Chicken Breast Artichoke purèe Leeks - we also had roast potatoes and tender steam broccoli for the table to share. Chicken was slightly salty for my personal taste but with everything else was fine. The roast potatoes was very crispy, broccoli was OK.Dessert: Warm Chocolate Cake Salted Caramel Ice Cream - super rich and sweet! I couldnt finish it at all. Loved the ice-cream just the right amount of salt, wasnt overpowering at all.Overall we had an amazing evening. Definitely a place I would go back too!
Excellent experience—as always! The food is delicious, the drinks are amazing, top level service and very professional staff! We’ll be coming there again and again!
I went here for a late lunch with a friend at the weekend and our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. I absolutely loved the Easter themed dessert (filled with mango and passion fruit mousse and served with a hot caramel sauce!). It’s a shame it’s not a long-term option! On a sunny day it was impossible to get a seat on the terrace but we had no trouble booking a last-minute table in the restaurant.
We were a bit disappointed. The table where we were sitted at first didnt give the impression of upmarket dining at all. The seats were stained and looked extremely worn out. The decorative plants hanging from the ceiling beams looked tired and outdated and didnt give much uplift to the decor.Thankfully we were moved to different table closer to the windows which had better feel to it. The dining room wasnt decorated much for Xmas and that subtracted from the overall feeling of high expectations. The food on the other hand was a-mazing and all our compliments of the review go to the chef and team only. The lamb was extremely tender and sauces complemented it well. But you need to order some sides with it separately. The waiting service couldve been better too. Staff looked confused about what table the food needs to go to.... and the hair on the one of the deserts was the most upsetting thing, which completely dampened the good impression about the place. We wouldnt go there next time and wouldnt recommend it to friends.
I brunched at Bluebird in the upstairs dining room with the wife and the little one on Sunday. The restaurant is an excellent choice for families while maintaining a trendy vibe. Delicious Bloody Marry, Bone Marrow Burger, and Eggs Royale. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room is well appointed.I look forward to returning soon.
The place feels like you are in a James Bond film right before the explosions.Cocktails are ok. The bartender was very nice and friendly.
We enjoyed our breakfast here, seating outside was beautiful, the lady who served us was very attentive and kind, we enjoyed our meal.
Restaurant is very spacious on the top floor.Food was very good. One of the best sea bass I have recently eaten. Skin was petfectly crunchy and fish was flaking easily from a fork 👍.Cannot wait to come back in summer time for cocktails and enjoy their lovely garden space outside.Reccomended!
Food was ok -- Id call it average. Burger is only cooked one way: well-done. Oxtail was alright. Cheese croquettes were probably the best item we tried. On a sunny, warm day the outside terrace area would be excellent for drinks.
It’s has all the right aesthetics to be the place to be. But service is below par and not value for money. There was a nice buzz around the bar and it is has a nice dining room layout. Our reservation was for dinner. On dining I felt ignored by both the front of staff/floor manager and our waiter. When being asked for a decision or choice it was always directed to my male friend. They wanted us to move tables after already starting on our drinks and order taken. This was because apparently we were seated in the incorrect place. When asked to move the question was only directed to my male friend. We dined for over 2hrs and that original table was never used. When we asked why we were moved since no one immediately needed the table, we were told they cancelled the booking.I saw other instances of being ignored. And my friend eventually had a word with the floor manager and they apologised and sent over a glass of champagne. When (Iasked for and took the bill from our waiter it was the floor manager who collected payment.
Went for Xmas dinner with friends on a Friday evening, a few free table - we had reserved a table. Not many options on the menu. Complementary bread and butter - we didnt order starters. I had a mocktail Rosalina - which was supposed to be passion fruit raspberry and rose syrup but it was watered down, it actually had no taste and I regretted getting it. I did ask if they could make me a strawberry daiquiri style drink but they were unable to make drinks not on the menu. Mains- I had steak which was delicious - came with a side of chips, onion puree and bone marrow sauce. The steak was very juicy so didnt need much sauce. We also ordered the lobster pasta which looked nice and the duck. I had the snickers bar for dessert - it was very filling and I couldnt finish it. I did taste just like a snickers bar with a side of bananas. We also ordered the hot chocolate cake which was very heavy a lighter option meringue. Great ambience, very dim lighting - I couldnt photograph my food clearly and also picture of the night turned out dark. There was music playing, slightly loud but it gave a good atmosphere. Service was good and staff friendly.
Good vibe, service and food! Thought it was a bit loud initially but it takes only a few minutes for it to become ambient. We tried the baked beetroot starter, the mushroom rigatoni, truffle mash and cauliflower main. All of them were great, especially the cauliflower (its quite a big dish btw). The staff is so helpful and friendly :)
Great food and excellent atmosphere. Love this place so much. A little bit overpriced though.
Stylish setup, great ambience. Interesting menu. Wonderful and attentive staff. Nice interior decor. Spent an afternoon with business colleagues. We were served by friendly and cheerful catering staff
Right from the moment we entered, you could feel the Friday night buzz was all around you. We had pre dinner drinks downstairs in the garden terrace - service was a bit slow and when we asked the front desk lady if it was possible for someone to take them upstairs as our table was ready, she cooly replied "Im not a waitress" ! That told us ! So we took our drinks up to the restaurant and I have to say from here on in, the experience was first class. We had a super friendly and helpful waiter and starters of crispy duck salad and duck parfait - both were stunning. Then came the main courses - sirloin of beef with a mouth watering marrow sauce, a monkfish Kerala curry and a succulent cod dish. The very gracious manager apologised for the delay in main courses arriving (not that we noticedand offered us free cocktails and wine. The passion fruit souffle was beyond words. Overall it was a fabulous experience and captures the essence of Chelsea on a Friday night perfectly with stunning food ! Thoroughly recommend.
Upstairs main restaurant. Have only tried their Sunday roast but I can say that it was excellent. Both the beef and the pork were enormous and good value for the quality. Will definitely be back. The roasties have a good texture but are slightly salty. Staff was friendly and room is nicely decorated and spacious.
Great service, really nice food and fantastic drinks. The atmosphere was lovely and everywhere was clean. Wasnt too busy.
Definitely a restaurant worth visiting (again and again)! We had a quick lunch at Bluebird Chelsea and ordered from a set menu, and we were both very surprised by its food innovation and creativity! Really enjoyed the beautiful lunch, wonderful atmosphere and friendly service.
It’s difficult to get a Full English breakfast wrong… but also tough to make it great. They manage it here though. Really nice setting and the food was quality. Traditional dish done with flair and style.
Lunch was spot on, food was good, service was good, location is great and truly price was good too!The restaurant is a bit tired and could use some TLC but these are hard times so I am happy that they are still open!Their lunch set menu is unbeatable at £25 for a 3 course and a glass of wine!Crispy duck salad was fresh and crunchy, the chicken and vegetarian entree were both very nice and so was the sticky toffee pudding.Really nice lunch.
