Excellent jazz band live show!!

Was there on a Friday. Cover charge includes a drink. Band was fun to watch, music good, atmosphere was like being in an old Jazz venue in New York or Memphis. Overall recommend.

Overpriced! The staff is very rude. It is nothing compared to the genuine Blue Note. Not worth the cover charge! Don’t bother going.

The vibe is good for those who want an old timer environment. BUT it a very pretentious establishment as well. It is NOT a friendly place for new comers. The price for beers is alright, so you have that to look for. But you’d have to pay an extra 400nt entrance fee.

Terrible service old lady in white sports coat and balding old man behind bar are rude. My girlfriend was waiting for me before the show and was told "she could not sit at the bar because it is their working space", I dont think they understand the concept of a bar. The music was good and environment is decent but customer service needs improvement. Thats probably why no one I saw ordered a second drink.

Horn wasnt serious until end of 2nd set. Piano was sort of why not Debussy, making drums impatient. Bass did bass

Jazz club live, but difficult to tag a long if you are with friends, and service is very slow, we had to call several times, loved Japanese Whisky!

Love this spot, total classic jazz club. Also the original Blue Note, which is pretty cool. Has a nice cozy atmosphere, good sound, great staff and fair prices. Great music too on any given night.

Honestly, the best jazz bar I’ve been to in Taipei thus far. Great live music, great ambience, and drink is included too! (Around 350NT for entrance fee.)

I cant believe I paid a cover for this. Dont come on Wednesdays I guess. Drinks are pricey, tiny bar, $305 drip coffee.

Excellent Jazz music! Theres a 300NTD cover but that can be applied towards drinks. FYI, drinks are around 300NTD. Just dont go there too thirsty and enjoy the music!

I went on a Wednesday night. They have live jazz band starting from 9.45pm. The bar is located on the 4th floor of a building. There is a night market nearby for dinner before going for the live performance.

A good place to chill, but be reminded to check whethet the jazz band is playing or not since it has different dates per each band. The drinks are great, some alcoholic and some dont

very cozy Bar with live music, strong cocktails and nice staff.Service is good, seating is comfy and plenty, overall great atmosphere.You pay 460 on Saturdays for live music and 1 drink which is a really good deal, the only issue I have is the price for extra drinks which is very expensive IMO.

Dont bother turning up without a reservation. Even though the bar was empty they refused to even let us sit at the empty counter. Rude

Very comfortable to listen to music, but I suggest not to use (or put it inside kitchin juice mix machine and not to ring a bell for food at least during the play.

Cozy, yes. Cute, yes... but pricey for the very basic drink menu. And the band disappeared for ages, suggesting permanent retirement rather than a break between sets.

The location is convenient, the place is cozy, the drinks are reasonable, the crowd is well mannered, the music however is so so - some nights are better than other, Well worth spending a few relaxing hours after an heavy dinner...oh the raw garlic and sausage goes well with the scotch.

Good place for live jazz. I really liked the atmosphere here. Drink selection could have been better. Mostly limited to cheap/moderate priced scotches

Blue Note is a nice and cosy pub on the 4th floor of an old building housing Oldie & Goodie on 2nd floorThis jazz pub is near Taipei Power Station MRT. 5 mins walk.Should not miss this place if you like jazz. Thank you!

Small and cozy, hard to find. Get out of exit 3 cross the road and if you take more than 5 minutes you are going the wrong way. Use the pics already attached for guide. Go for their live music on Friday and Saturday super.
