Blue Lagoon City Hotel in Kos

It was a pleasure to stay at Blue Lagoon. We were there with two small wheelchairs and the room was very nice and was enough space for both of us. The bathroom was well equipped with handgrips the toilet and a chair to sit on when taking a shower.The elevators were big enough for us, but bigger wheelchairs dont fit. At the entrance there was a decent ramp , not to steep. To go to the elevators there is a steep ramp, but the staff was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our visit. Great location, Clean rooms . Pleasant and helpful staff. Nice breakfast choice all very fresh. My only complaint is the lack of sunbeds with selfish people throwing their towels down then disappear for most of the day. Could really do with some way of monitoring it so others get a chance to use the facilities

From UK we always need to spend one or two nights in Kos. After a long flight, it is good to arrange a taxi (which the hotel can do for you), then somewhere nice to relax. Its reasonably situated, but a taxi would be needed to get you to the ferry port with a big case/s. Breakfast included also swimming pool and bar

Great hotel, friendly staff and a close walk to the port and to old town. Breakfast has variety.

Very bad customer relationship management. Front desk turned my stay in this hotel into a terrible experience, as they were first ignorant then disrespectful towards me. There will always be moments when your guest needs your help (in my case it was a taxi that I arranged via the hotel a day in advance which came 21 mins later after I almost begged Oz to call them again and again, which might cause me miss my flight). What makes you a high quality hotel is how well you manage such moments. And Blue Lagoon has failed miserably. Never again.

An overall great stay at the blue lagoon city hotel, the hotel is very modern, the rooms immaculate and cleaned every day, and there was a good selection for breakfast. The location however is the best factor, a 5 minute walk into Kos town which is filled with bars, restaurants and shops, and only a 15 minute walk to the beach which was also great. My only complaint would be the limited amount of sun beds considering the size of the hotel, it was sometimes hard to get them on a morning, otherwise a perfect stay.

Clean and attractive surroundings, excellent and helpful staff. We had requested a high floor and pool view which was what we got.Breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing, but given the number of nationalities and dietary preferences no one should go hungry. Short walk 5 mins to harbour and all bars and restaurants would certainly return to this hotel. Good pool bar and snack bar to save venturing out at lunchtime, reasonable prices, but not much atmosphere.

This was my first time in Greece and the Blue Lagoon City Hotel has a very good location. Close to the city center. Lots of restaurants, places to visit and the old town is literally 200 meters from the hotel. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. I highly recommend this place and I will be happy to return there.

This hotel is wonderful. It is in a great location, a few minutes walk from everything. Plenty of fab bars and restaurants nearby and we enjoyed great food in all we visited. Best thing though was the staff, they were the best. Everyone was so friendly. Would go back in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful gem of a hotel! This was our first visit to the blue lagoon and to Kos as an island and we loved every minute of our trip!Firstly the location was fantastic, less than a 10 minute stroll the the harbour and the great fish restaurants at the harbour end of the beach.Old town was just a 5min walk, with lots of great restaurants. And there was a supermarket and an amazing ice-cream parlour just a few minutes away.The hotel itself was fantastic, clean and modern. Rooms were spacious even for 3 adults with a large balcony (we stayed in 318), A/C and wifi was strong throughout the communal areas and rooms.We had lunch at the pool bar which was fab, and cocktails throughout our stay round the pool. The waiter at the pool was exceptional and SO kind. In fact, all of the staff were amazing, especially the female manager who looked after breakfast in the morning (I’m afraid I didn’t grab her name!)Would recommend to anyone. What a wonderful stay!

Great location, the staff are amazing especially to our baby which makes the whole experience so much easier. The rooms and hotel are spotless, modern and beautiful. Amazing breakfast =)The lifts however are quite small so bare this in mind with a pram, or request lower floor. Thanks for a great stay.

Personally I prefer this quiet spot instead of the noisy hotels around harbour and coast road.

We highly recommend this hotel in Kos Town. It has a good location to walk to many fabulous restaurants and to the square in the old town. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. Breakfast had everything from fruit, pastries, yoghurts, cooked breakfast and a chef who makes omelettes to order. You definitely do not need to hire a car on Kos. We did and for five days it cost us 850 euros! Kos is a small island and if you stay in Kos Town there is everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Thank you to everyone in the Blue Lagoon City Hotel for making our holiday special.

Cant fault this hotel, just near the edge of the old town. Everything within walking distance. The pool is lovely and clean, the staff are friendly. Stayed for a week, bed and breakfast, which was excellent.

Very clean and nicely furnished hotel. It’s located directly in the city center of Kos. The pool and Spa area is also very nice! Standard breakfast buffet was included. Would also recommend the hotel if you’re traveling with kids.

Ive been back in the Netherlands for 2 weeks now, but I still miss it. I had an amazing time at Blue Lagoon city hotel. The employees are very nice and helpful which made me feel very comfortable. The food and service are also very good, whenever I needed a bike or something they took care of it. I also enjoyed the massages, my compliments to the masseuse. Overall I had an amazing experience in Kos and I definetely want to come back again to this beautiful country and hotel. I hope to see you again in the near future.

A very nice Hotel in Kos Downtown district. Fantastic breakfast, nice rooms, great internet. Walking distance to harbor is about 1/4 mile, tourist sites all over the area. Kos is a super city to visit.

Our room was worth of five stars but the pool area was a bit crowded, not enough sunbeds. Luggage room wasnt locked. Hotels staff, however, were very friendly and helpfull.

One of the best hotels Ive ever been. New modern comfortable rooms. Lovely view from #402. Friendly staff. Clean pool good music and drinks. Would recommend everyone who travels to Kos.

I short 5 minute walk from the harbor but worth it for the quiet, less populated tourist flow. Renovated and roomy. Good breakfast buffet. Great pool to relax by, grab a bite to eat and a drink. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed 8 weeks at the Blue lagoon City Hotel and enjoyed the comfort of a beatiful and modern hotel with excellent breakfast, beautiful pool area, nice lounge bar and very clean and beautiful roms. All very close to Dophin Square and the city center of Kos Town. Some rooms have a glimpse of the harbour but I would trade any seaview and rather be a guest in this hotel. Staying 8 weeks in a hotel is a long time, but I enjoyed every minute of it. A very professional and super friendly staff. I will compare every hotell with this one. If you are travelling alone for work or business this is the hotel to choose. But, here is the thing; I would choose it for a holiday or weekend get away too. Way to go Mr. Vasilis Mammis and your super Staff. This hotel will always be my number noe choice in Kos 😊😊😁

This hotel was wonderful, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were to a high standard, and we could not fault the food. We have to mention Vasilis he just took everything up that extra level, and provided good recommendations about the food and wine. Enjoyed the hotel. Good base for exploring the island. Its quite new and everything works. Rooms are modern with good aircon and small balconies. Pillows are quite big. Breakfast had plenty of from the basic eggs to fruits and cereals. Has a pool, indoor pool and sauna/spa. Not that much space around the pool so the amount of loungers are limited. Staff was very helpful and the service was great.

Great hotel overall. Breakfast was comprehensive. Pillows where too thick for me but it didnt bother me that much.

A star for the nice, clean rooms. A star for the friendly staff. A star for the wunderful shower (wish I had this at home). A star for the pool and spa. A star for the bar - great lunch and cocktails AND GREAT ICE COFFEE. Minus a star for the loud music by the pool everyday. From techno to house: It was a bit noisey and irritating.

A really nice and good hotel. The staff here is so serviceminded and kind. The pools are great and so is the food here. Location is supergood, only like a two minutes walk to all the action in the city. Only things i can complain about was that the in our room the shower and toilet was in the same room so it went very wet there after talking a shower, no so much problem for us (who are in the mid 30sbut it probably would be a risk to slipp on the floor in you are older. And the second negative thing is that the gym was too small and did not open untill 10. But beside from thoose things this hotel is a 5/5. If you have question about this hotel feel free to pm me.
