Blue Lagoon in Polygyros

Its a beautiful place, but so are the other beaches around the island. Super crowded with boats, nothing special compared to the other places with crystal clear water that have just a couple of boats.

Crystal clear water, we could see the fish swimming near us.

A perfect place to spend the night at anchor. After 6pm, the place is quiet and all yours.

Must seen! Beautiful, clean water. There is a boat bar that drives around.

Either go early morning or late afternoon. Very busy place it is not worth the wait to swim there or you can go and see it and then go at another beach. Be careful for other boats and drivers as some as reckless.

The place is beautiful, but it gets too crowdy and the area is really full of boats. At least this is the status in August. I suggest to visit the lagoon eventually in June or September..Greek Authorities should limit the boat traffic in the area - because of the pollution and also for a matter of safety.

Very beautiful place, and a lot of fish in the water :)

The water is really beautiful but it’s so crowded - we’ve been there last Sunday and it was so packed. Couldn’t really enjoy this spot but still worth to see it. Wouldn’t recommend this for a longer stay and not for kids - too dangerous with all this boats and yards.

Simply breathtaking water and view. The water was very good for swimming and snorkeling. It was an amazing blue

Spectacular waters. Just amazing! The colour is extraordinary. If you are in Sithonia - visit. We went there with an inflatable kayak from Karagatsi beach.

its a nice place but there is a great beach with white sand in the area. if you want to swim in the lagoon do it near your boat. take care of the other boats that pass by. if they dont see you around then you are in trouble. its like you want to sleep on the highway. I was out there in late September and the guys where I rented the boat told me that in the high season there are 100 boats staying here in the blue lagoon so its very crowded.

A great place to go if you have a boat. The colour of the water is surreal beautiful, probably because of the white sand on the bottom. I recommend avoiding during weekends, as the place becomes overcrowded with boats...

Get a boat, no license needed, 20 minute from the boat rental you can snorkel and swim in blue water lile no other

We rented a boat for 80 euro and went around the island. There are lots of beautiful beaches and of course the blue lagoon was amazing. Maybe just a bit crowded. We stop there, ate some sandwiches and just had fun. If you are going to Vourvouru, you should definitely explore it.
