Pizza, pub mains and cocktails in a laid-back space with harbour views, plus live music on weekends.
$20 for half a butternut pumpkin, stone cold with some limp green leaves and black sesame seeds. Absolute zero effort. No chef worth their salt would consider it ok to serve roast veg salad cold but they did. Served 15mins before my partners meal. Absolute rip off.
Love this place. Beautiful little deck under a huge tree. Great selection of drinks and food. Very classy and right by the water. Staff were really pleasant and attentive. I imagine this would be nice at night.
Book ahead for groups, tends to fill up quickly, good wine and yummy food!
Sitting here overlooking Kiama having a gin and tonic. Infused with flowers which give a purple tinge. Superb. Fabulous view of the harbour on this glorious winter’s day.
Great service and view
Great since French flavour upgrade.
Great location/ seating often haVe music
Good food good location
good
Great view but not the best steak I have had.
Huge 50c chicken wings and $6 amazing local craft beer happy hour 😍(Be careful if you order 25 wings for 2 of you... best mistake ever made)
Great pizza!
Service was really friendly. It’s refreshing to come to a place that doesn’t feel restricted with a tonne of rules. We had a bottle of sparkling in our room and wanted somewhere nice to drink it and celebrate. We were able to enjoy this outside and we felt welcomed. Thanks
Nice lunch
Nice bar, live music is too loud for such a small place.
Food and service were good. The main part of the meal was good but the sides were a little small and disappointing. Bar service nice and quick with drinks 👍 been here plenty of times, would recommend for a meal or a catchup with mates.
We chose this venue because we wanted a little fancy dinner overlooking the water and some nice food, it looked amazing, nice scenery and the outside area looked beautiful !Shame the food was a massive letdown !I spent $24 on a peri peri pizza which had little bit’s or/ crumbs of chicken “ and hardly any toppings.I ordered a haloumi salad and it cost me $20 3 tiny pieces in my salad and I could barely taste it because it was so small, the rest of the meal was basically spinach and a pumpkin with the skin left on which I thought was silly. My cocktail was amazing props the to the bartender who made me a delicious Midori splice. Those meals were expensive and would have cost them no more than $10 for all the ingredients that could have been used to make multiples of our meals.Won’t be coming back ;(
Yes yes yes. Smooth classy and near perfection. Dont take my word just come and try it.
Awesome harbour view location with historic old school backdrop. Food is excellent and appropriately priced. Free undercover parking on site.
Stayed at the Sebel Kiama for a week. First meal dry "well mention it to the chef". The only reason we went back 2nd time was because it was close and it was raining. I had risotto runny and overcooked and very salty . Well mention it to the chef. Really ???? No comment. My husband had steak - good, salad tiny, chips couldnt eat, they were tomato flavoured fries, salty. Never going back. Food extremely poor, prices too high and didnt reflect any quality. Lucky it got 1 star. Thank goodness for mylanta .
Dined here Saturday evening. Good choice and prepared to our liking. Accor members get discount on meals.
Disappointing experience. Ordered hoping for a good meal as the venue seemed ok and has a good view. Took over an hour to make a Pumpkin Salad and a couple of burgers. They began service at our table an hour after ordering, before stopping and serving many other tables and continuing with the kids meals which were served more than 20 minutes after the adults meals Overall, the food was not particularly good considering the hour plus wait. Ingredients tasted cheap and food was cold, don’t know what kind of chef they have hired that serves food like that. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all, you are much better off just having Subway or Red Rooster a few doors down instead.
Didnt get my order right. Not much choice. My wife was served her meal Luke warm. We were looking forward to a beautiful meal. It didnt happen here
Average meal with poor choice in sides as salad was not included in cost of fish meal at $30. Garden salad was $5.00...this was actually a small serve of rocket with 3 wilted baby tomatoes with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese. Fish and steak were nicely cooked but over priced and over seasoned. A disappointing choice for what appears to be a nice venue.
Excellent food, lively atmosphere
Fab food, great service, intimate atmosphere & stunning location. 💓
Great vibe and live entertainment. Great to sit back, relax and enjoy the view of Kiama Harbor.
Great staff. Great food. Great night.
Nice place with a lovely outlook. Food was average - I wouldn’t rush back.
Closed at 9PM, despite saying on the door that they are open till 11PM
Expensive
Food was good but pricing seemed inconsistent: eg $20 for a tiny pumpkin salad (bad valueyet $18 for 12 massive chicken wings (good value- which they wouldn’t let us take home, due to ‘health regulations’. My chicken risotto was very good, but a little small for $28.Efficient, friendly staff and a fun, energetic vibe.
I took my mate for a feed on his birthday but the food here was terrible. Wedges were fresh and good but everything else we ordered were bad. Frites (frieswere cold, meat and egg from steak burger were overcooked, lamb from lamb was overcooked and after we told the manager, they sent out another one which was also chewy, churizo on the pizza was also barely there. Manager refunded the lamb rack but overall poor experience and will not go back.
A bit expensive but great food and staff
The food here is so bad. Drinks are good though, although beer costs more than rum? Nice view.
The food here was super tasty - we had the lamb ribs which were very tender and perfectly seasoned (though serving size was a little small, which is a bit disappointing considering the price). These guys take the time to present food well and try interesting things with their flavors - not bad for pub food. Good service and a nice atmosphere, though I imagine the vibe changes quite a bit depending on how busy they are
Over priced terrible food. Had the fish and chip burger which was the worst burger of my life. The fish was the over battered mush and the potatoe scallop was foam. There are tons of great places to eat in Kiama avoid the blue diamond like the plauge.
First time here. Love this place. Fantastic atmosphere. Great live music. Pizzas to die for. What a way to spend a Friday night.
Cool place to eat and chill
They served our Starters and our mains at the same time, then tried to tell us that we hadnt been clear about having Starters served separately to mains, then when the restaurant was nearly empty, they told us it would take an hour and a half to order a piece of chocolate cake... Food was no different to a Leagues Club... Venue is nice.
Nice place worth a visit,
Always a good place to go for dinner, before dinner or post dinner. It has a great view of Kiama harbour and it has such a warm and inviting ambiance about it. With a good selection of beers, wines and awesome food its definitely a place worth going to!!!
As a family group we went there on sunday lunch ,very disappointed in the food. The venue is great but the food at the moment is bad?
Good position overlooking the bay really modern feeling bar, the food was quick and tasty good value, great spot for a beer or dinner.
The 37% rating on Blue Diamond Brasserie is unfair on Urbanspoon. I quite enjoyed the variety at the breakfast buffet at the Blue Diamond Brasserie. I stayed at the Sebel for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed eating pancakes from their pancake machine, eating yoghurt with fresh fruit, and my favourite (belowincludes beans, mushrooms, hashbrown and english muffins.Ive also had dinner at the Blue Diamond Brasserie which wasnt too bad. I would probably suggest going to Sea Breeze for dinner instead. The steak (belowwas good and the other components of mash, sweet potato and mushrooms were good too but didnt quite work well together.
Shoes stuck to floor try cleaning some time, food very ordinary
